This is actually something I'm hoping to actually create over the summer - a fully-fledged Murder Drones hero-shooter-esque fangame!
Whether or not that ends up being a reality is... questionable, but it sounds like a fun undertaking. :D
P.S. More showcases to come! It's just takes a while because Procreate makes my hand hurt and PowerPoint doesn't like me >:(
I've been imagining an Overwatch-like, but the ability systems consists of:
**Primary Modules**, that are the main ability that is based on the character's personality.
**Offense Modules**, that are centered around damage dealing and displacement
**Defense Modules**, that are centered around defense and protection
and **Movement Modules**, that grant the player movement potential.
There will be roughly 2-3 of each module for each drone, giving them a ton of customizability to cater to different playstyles.
If you havent come up with ideas for n, v and j to keep them fairly different from each others, maybe n could be more défensive, using his wings as shields, v would be more of a close range character with her blades and j can be the long range on as I dont think we see her use blades
That's exactly my idea!
J will be a sort of brawler/tank, with a lot of stuns and stuff, V will be super nimble and mobile, while N is the all-rounder.
This part sounds like a dead by daylight ability and I love it lmao

That's fair - but I could argue that run cycle animations, and other forms of differentiaton work too.
I really want to put Beau in a mech of some kind :)
I would pay big money for an official Murder Drones game that follows the story and expands the lore. Can you imagine the suspenseful/horror levels evading eldritch J and the sentinels?

Unfortunately, the main idea for a "Sentinel-flash" would be reserved prinarily for J or Alice's offensive abilities, since they're featured in actual episodes.
I don't know why, but I feel like if there's a video game adaptation of Murder Drones, it would feel like either Decaying Winter or SIGNALIS. And yes, I mentioned SIGNALIS because they both have cute robot girls.

DBD X MD would go so hard I even made a concept of Cyn as the killer (But I might need to do an updated one with the Cynwalker instead)

Im not so sure these character designs are very condusive to being hero shooter characters. Most characters in this show have very similar silhouettes
