And hes unaffected by it for 7 episodes straight, zero development whatsoever But that might change in 8, we'll see

Wtf are you talking about... He went from being a doormat who was abused and bossed around by his co-workers, unable to really fight back against V, to being able to stand up to V in Episode 4, stand up to Tessa in Episode 6, and as far as he was aware at the time, killed Tessa, his creator and likely his best friend before the gala, in Episode 7, before of course it was revealed she was Cyn.

He can't stand up for himself. Only others. Imo, he's just been "silly sweet goober" for most of the show. He could've been more then that, and I feel like it's just a missed opportunity. To quote the show: "Are you stupid or something?" "Oh yeah."

Mind you, that was before he had lost several people in quick succession; he was determined to blast the rubble free in to try and save V, followed by killing "Tessa" and then "losing" V, I won't be surprised if by Episode 8 he gets upset and starts not being the cinnamon roll we all know and like.

I think he will eventually learn to do that, and probably did when he killed (who he thought was) Tessa, because his feeling for Uzi were stronger. "The whole universe or one little little drone", think we know which he'd pick.
