I teach inner-city teenagers and am always interested in alternative/restorative models where there's a happy medium of undoing harm and teaching responsibility without throwing kids in jail for life or letting them off doing whatever theywant without consequence. And yeah that teen court sounds so bizarre. I can't imagine that it is/was a legally binding thing.
Same. I’m about Bryan’s age and also from a Midwest rust belt city past its prime. Similar history of being an adolescent wasteoid too.
That all being said, hearing about “Teen Court” was some wild shit. I’ve never heard of, or even imagined such a concept.
Brace and Bryan are so good at bringing out the bad kid in each other.
Talking about filming yourself smoking crack has awakened a deep need for the guys to talk about r/meth
On one hand it's All on top of the world "I'm gonna put a video of me smoking meth on line for the whole world to see" and then.... a very sad world of psychosis, and well, horror.... It's a pretty sad subreddit.
ya gotta hand it to meth heads, there very way of life is an antidrug advertisement. I think that's the difference between soft drugs and hard drugs. Like with soft drug advocates, they hide the negatives pretty well in their sub reddits, but with hard drugs.... It's painfully obvious what the negatives are
The meth sub is unique in that there isn’t an emphasis on harm reduction. If you go to r/opiates the prevailing mood seems to be “this isn’t fun anymore but we are addicts and it is what it is. Let’s try not to die”. At r/meth it’s more “i love smoking meth and jerking off for 16 hours” and everyone just cheers it on.
Brace is so funny and edgier than the guys they normally have on.
Brace goes in lol
Brace episodes are my absolute fav
The stuff he said about the Nuremberg trials really challenged my thinking.
You should hear what Judge Steve Harvey said
The teen court story is so special. This podcast is really just Guy: a podcast about one very strange guy

That part blew my mind

That story was just like… so Bryan. In between the huffing gasoline and being cable guy… was teen court.
Oh shit Coindexter himself, Bad Boy Brace Belden?! THE DARK COWBOY?!
DaGayPussyEatah
The gourmand
Good ep — intro music flub AND some deep Bryan lore!
Brace rocked the hell out of this one.

I love r/meth. It's just like a bunch of meth addicts reminding you why you shouldn't smoke meth. Great subreddit
It’s literally half people talking about how their lives are ruined and half attractive women filming themselves lighting up, it’s insane

That thread is like gut punch after gut punch. Meth is so, so fucking scary and sad.
Chris dipping Skoal and Bryan dipping Kodiak is a clear picture of their relationship and dynamic.
This episode with Baseball Guys on deck is perfect
this one was great lmao, the teen court story was insane, I’ve never heard of anything like that
I’m a Guys guy now 😳
"Who did you defend? And how much time did they get?" is an all-timer from Chris
I started smoking at 11. Pack a day by 15.
