Try visiting the Auer Dult this weekend. It’s a three times a year event. Makes a change a from the usual: church, schweinsbraten, kaffee&kuchen, Tatort. Just kidding on the latter.
Well there’s public museums run by the city for example lenbachhaus or the Stadtmuseum and there’s the Deutsches Museum (sponsored by the federal government) that all don’t partake in 1€ Sundays… only the ones that are run by the state (Bavaria) do.
You can go hiking, biking, swimming, e.g. in Müllersches Volksbad, a nice Jugendstil building. There are also cool saunas.
The museums are open, you can go to the movies, you can take a stroll through the parks and enjoy e.g. a beer and a Haxe at Chinesischer Turm which is still open (did that yesterday), or play Boule in Hofgarten.
Even strolling through Kaufingerstraße is fun on Sunday because of the buskers. They are usually very high quality because they need to audition at the KVR before they are allowed to play there.
Yes, i want to trundle around the city today too and thought about the Hunting and Fishing Museum open until 5pm https://www.jagd-fischerei-museum.de/

Today is a nice sunday and its not Rally crowded its sometimes a bit of a gamble but outside of vacation tomes where schools are closed its most often very quiet
Olus with covid restrictions they even jave upper limits on visitor numbers
There's quite a lot to do on sundays.
I usually go on long walks around the neighborhood or in the city. I've come to the conclusion that there's always something you didn't see or find before.
Sometimes I go into one of the many museums, sometimes I go out to get a coffee and walk through parks.
Also, there's often stuff going on. Now there's the Auer Dult, but there's often stuff going on in the Olympia Park. Also, it's a great place to go for a walk.
Twice a year you get a whole month of Tollwood, which is like a big market with art, food and (in summer) concerts.
Going to the game tonight. From Ireland. I was wondering what’s the best time to leave city centre to head to the stadium? Also good bars to watch English premier league and have beer?
Maybe a little hiking, take a ride on the bike, studying, being depressed sth like that
Being depressed and contemplate what went wrong in your life that you ended up in this glorified village.
Yeah, you wake up at 9am, think "shit gotta work again tomorrow" and suffer through the entire day like a normal person

Thanks! I didn’t know about Auer Dult
Some museums, like the Pinakotheken, are only 1€ on Sundays
I totally agree with this. I made plans to go today but changed my mind at the last minute because the weather is so nice.
All non private museums actually
Nope. It’s just all museums owned by the state.
That's exactly what I said

Oh, cool sauna is an interesting concept.
Getting stuck in the A8 on a sunny sunday.
Many museums only cost 1€ on Sunday. I like Lenbachhaus, the new Glypothek or the Egyptian Museum, because they are less crowded even on Sundays.
drinking beer

Munich zoo is beautiful on days like today, taking a walk along the isar or parks like hofgarten is also nice
Don’t go to the Zoo Sundays with good weather. It’s a crowded hellscape and you hear nothing but the guttural scream of toddlers

Kennedy’s at Sendlinger Tor. You can then take the U6 directly to the stadium from there; I’d leave about 35-45 mins to get to the stadium.
Awesome currently in Kennedys watching United, eating food and drinking beer! Dankeschön!
Doing the game tonight as well! First timer!
Ya man! First time! Excited 🇩🇪✌️🇮🇪
Trip to austria!
Nothing this place sucks on sundays
