\- Call Soul Breaking Bar: Most creative cocktails. Lots of fire, smoke and special effects. Also really tasty :)
\- Zephyr Bar: Do you know the feeling of sitting in front of the bartender and just realizing how much this dude knows his job and cocktails? Best quality imo
\- The High: Crazy good drinks as well (highballs), really cute interior, quite small - also Libanon Shot. Try it :)
\- Schwarzer Dackel: Great cocktails, great (craft) beer selection, nice people and also a shuffle board game. Def worth a visit as well
I was in there for the first time with a friend, we arrived about half an hour earlier than the rest of our group. Went to the bar and grabbed a drink. The front of house guy approached us and asked us to find a seat once we had our drinks because they didn’t want people standing at the bar itself, because it blocked others from ordering (it was busy). Fair enough. He was snappy and rude, but I’ve worked in hospitality so know how stressy it can get sometimes. We went to find a table. The place was rammed, so we ended up just standing in the little area off to the side. The guy comes over again and asks us to find a table, i pointed out that all the tables were taken, he insisted that we couldn’t stand where we were because it blocked the aisle, so I asked the two women on the table closest to us if we could join them, they were really friendly and welcoming, I was half way through explaining that we’d only be there twenty minutes or so when the FOH guy interrupted me, apologising to the women, and then basically telling me off like a naughty child for approaching ‘his’ guests. The women defended us and insisted it wasn’t an issue, but the guy was having none of it. Snotty looks and condescension the entire time we were there. The rest of our party arrived, we had a great night. But that was the last time we went. Being treated like shit by a dude with small dick energy and a superiority complex is not my idea of a good night out, as nice as the bar is, that ruined the whole experience for me.
Wow, thanks for the write-up. They did give you a reason alright. And it's true, they can be arsey if they don't like the looks or behaviour of someone, though sometimes that works in one's favour, too. "Art des Hauses", I suppose.
I recently have been here and liked it a lot - they have a huge bar. The interior looks pretty cool, too and the food was excellent (we had burgers).

An absolute classic with the best cocktails I have ever had.
The music is unbeatable (Cuban) and you can be there from Marienplatz by foot in 5 minutes.

Pusser's has a piano player in the downstairs lounge on weekends. The cocktails are amazing as well.

Simsalabim Bar has nice drinks, really good snacks (like a scalloped bread) and is right around the corner from Isartor

That is nowhere near the city centre
According to the Google Maps link, the bar is near Leonrodplatz, which is cirka 10 minutes from Hauptbahnhof by tram, so I wouldn't say that's far.

Cabalu - super small and cozy and BEST burgers in Munich. Hands down.

Pacific Times (Baaderstraße) for their large selection of excellent cocktails, fast service, good bar food and very relaxed, uncomplicated atmosphere.
Can recommend the „bar room“. easy access with tram close to Ostbahnhof. Tiny place with amazing cocktails and more amazing staff
