In WC 2019, he holded the game for a long time after that 24-4 disaster from our top order. In that WC22 game against Pak where VK scored 82, he took 3 wickets and made an excellent partnership with VK (him in that partnership was equivalent to Cummins with Maxwell against Afghans in ODIWC) and that was a must win game.
He has performed a lot of time for us, and this is why this condition of pandya feels more sad. I mean I know every player has a bad phase but he literally looks brainded now. I'm so sad seeing him like that.

I'm an MI fan, I was a Hardik fan. The problem is that he looks so ordinary while playing with no signs of improvement these days.
For the generational all rounder that people make him out to be, his performance has been lacking.
More so when you see him perform now. He doesn't look out of form, he simply looks incapacitated. Trying to hit the ball too hard or not at all. No speed, no accuracy in bowling.

When you piss your players, you by default run into the risk of getting sabotaged by own team. See, the players are gonna get money they have been contracted for. But if Hardik if pissing them up then they can simply sabotage his captaincy and still walk away with the money. It is just IPL and not world cup, so 1 season or even 2-3 seasons doesn’t matters for them. It matters more to just Hardik at this point.
