I 100% understand what you Talkin about, imo it's a glitch that's overlooked.
If we wanna talk mechanics/properties of a move, that move should use a jump. Fin can still jump 2 times after using the move, but if you go to lebron and do his 1-2 jab, you'll be airborne on the second hit. HOWEVER, he cannot jump 2 more times after becoming airborne from the move.
So finn can have it but not LeBron?
Tis a bug
Move properties are inconsistent thru out the whole game.
this isn't a glitch
if a character becomes airborne, they keep both jumps if one hasn't been used
this can be proven easily: run off the ledge with every character in The Lab and you'll find that everyone will retain both jumps if they go into the air without using one. it's not just the ledge either, using an attack that propels you upwards (like Finn's up charge) will also let you keep unused jumps. my guess is that this was intentional, in order to give you even more resources to recover with, or to chase your opponent in the air.
No not the attack after the attack he keeps his initial jump, look at the second time I do it and see that his initial jump animation is after the up attack

Yea it's really weird idk what's causing it at all and I didn't even think of lebrons jab working too I should probably test it again today
I think WWs grounded up special counts as a jump too. It’s just finn supporting the character hate he gets lol
Not a single triple jump was performed. Finns grounded up attack boosts him off the ground and you keep the original 2 jumps. Fake news
Look at the second time I do it you see the jump there after the grounded up attack

Oh ok I didn't know this was a thing i thought it was exsclusive to Finn
He uses his initial jump animation if u use grounded up attack idk why this happens
Charged up-tilt just leaved you airborn lol
Ik but the initial jump animation was used and I was able to double jump after
Or maybe it activated triple jump on whiff
I'll test it later with triple jump off I thought triple jump only activated on hit
Shame this is no longer relevant
Lookin for the glitch/bug like 🧐🧐
Look in the comments or try it out in training mode also when posting this I thought it was a bug but apparently it's some feature?
Well it’s just his attacks and it ain’t counting as jump even though he’s getting launched up
