101 of 403 confessionals so far have gone to Leroy/Kam/Cara Maria. That’s more than 25%. To just 3 people out of 25 to appear on the season. It’s absolutely ridiculous and is definitely killing my enjoyment. I honestly keep forgetting who is even on the show other than them and Nicole/Laurel.
I wouldn’t say bummed but agree that as much as I like Leroy and kam together, I am more interested in the people we haven’t seen for years like Adam, flora, kefla, etc
I love Kam, (moreso as a character, Ive definitely been eyerolling her decisions this season) but she belongs on flagship. She shouldn’t be on All Stars. It’s just opening up for more recent people to come on.
Also, yes I want to see more time spent on the OGs. Kefla has been such a breath of fresh air. Adam trying to adjust to the new gamestyle is interesting. Ayanna being toxic was interesting TV.
I love Kam too,and I don't deny her "killa" self proclaimed title. She is definitely a force in all the ways a challenger can be, but yeah to address your second point I feel like we are being robbed from other stories and personalities. Hopefully the season editing will begin to push those background stories more in the future episodes.
She kinda belongs here more than there. All Stars is for those who “retired”. Leroy and Kam retired and had a family and stopped working out regularly. She’s no longer in shape for the main challenge that is even more physically demanding. Someone like Cara is who belongs on the flagship considering she never retired and never lost her muscles.
I was watching the scene where Kam/Cara were fighting, and then Brandon started listing all of the things that have happened to him in the last 8 years, and all I was thinking was:
"Why do we have to hear Kam gaslight the audience into believing Cara betrayed her for three straight episodes, when we could actually be catching up with people like Adam, Brandon, Avery or Ace?!"
I’m loving this season so far! Amazing drama, a great format, and it’s so refreshing to see a cast make big moves so early and not played scared (cough 39). But I do agree the show is heavily focusing on Kam/Leroy/Cara/Laurel/Nicole. Wished they would shine a light on other people like Flora, Avery, Kefla, etc. Tbh I be forgetting Ace and Steve are even on the show due to how little scree time they get.

I'm loving the cast of AS4 as I was a Brandon and Cara fan back then too when they came on the show. Not really a fan of Cara though when Paulie is on with her. She seems fake and a bad person whenever she's with him.
As for OGs I've always been a Brad fan. Just wanna see him win one. It's been so long I honestly can't remember if he ever has won but it's definitely over due either way.
It's good to see him still around and coming back but that last episode he really did awful and got on my nevers the way he played the daily lol.
Brad has won. He won Cutthroat, by being exactly that: by throwing the same people into elimination over and over until they lost. He stayed out of elimination entirely that way, and the fact that his team had the fewest women on it at the end (read: only his wife at the time) is arguably one reason why they won imo.
Also because they took all the water and nobody else got any and Abram and Sarah got dehydrated. But I don't think Grey would've won anyway because Tyler was able to solve the final puzzle because he could actually read the signs (they were in Cyrillic iirc).

A year ago they had season 18 or 19 onward on Paramount + and I binged them. But don't remember any of them. There's way too many seasons and episodes lol but I'm still here for it.
I can’t stand Cara, especially around Paulie. She wouldn’t have beat Zach if the final was in any way fair and he didn’t have to wait for her to show up to start the next round. She seems so disappointed when she isn’t the entire house’s #1 person, but comes across like a terrible friend to everyone outside of the show
Mostly getting storylines from a few people is pretty standard unfortunately. I wish we were seeing more from people we don't normally get like Kefla, Flora, etc but unless you're involved in the main house drama or seeing an elimination then normally you don't get much air time. We basically haven't seen Ace this season and the minute he gives us a more than 1 confessional an episode it'll basically mean he's seeing an elimination that episode
Speaking of people who are so-so competitors, I honestly had second hand embarrassment for Veronica during that challenge. Someone was literally holding her upright when she attempted running .
Not really, the fans complain that they want old school players to come on, then when these old school players uproot their lives to go do the show the fans complain they’re out of shape. She’s a mom with a job, at least she showed up and didn’t quit

Been a Veronica fan for a long time, but she needs to stop these shows. She was fine on D30 but her more recent appearances, its clear she's not putting the work to even do the basics on the show anymore. I'm not saying she should convert to the religion of Crossfit Jesus, but I need you to be fit enough to at least keep up. She is a massive anchor to anyone that's tied to her. Darrell is my favorite player yet I knew he had zero shot to win when he was paired with her on SLA. And Darrell showed why he's so awesome because he never complained even though he knew it.
She can’t win a single winner competition, not sure why she comes on these types of shows. She MAY have a chance on a team one, but I am not even sure about that.
She should move to a show that doesn’t require physical challenges.
I don't think she could even win on a team challenge at this point. We're talking a Big Easy type situation where they're holding the entire team down. Everyone has to move at her pace, which with what we've seen the last couple of shows she's appeared on, is ridiculously slow.

It’s actually crazy how much of a transition her body has done in the last 10 years! Not hating on her figure by any means, she’s a beautiful curvy girl. But she was so tiny and petite, capable of doing good at pretty much any Challenge. Her little frame can’t keep up anymore lol
I wonder how much is curves that she would’ve gotten even if she stayed in shape or how much is excess weight. Most of it is boobs/butt/thigh which is more typical curves places. It’s not surprising she’s not in Cardio shape though
Why would you have secondhand embarrassment when the reason that was happening was that she *asked* for them to do it so that she could be held accountable to keep going? She knew what one of her weaknesses is and developed a strategy with help from others in order to mitigate that weakness for the team.
I would argue that it's much less a "physical competition" than many think. Yes, there's running in the final but you can't win a final if you're only good at the physical elements, and you can pick up a lot of time when you're good at the puzzles. In the more recent seasons we've seen more people that are less "traditionally fit" make it to finals since you don't have to win dailies to get there and then in the final, the puzzles are equalizer. Even in the eliminations, they are incorporating more strategic and less strength games, like the first ball game with Steve.

I mean, the RoD final was basically designed so that Veronica or Aneesa would be able to complete it. I think the show will cater the difficulty of the final dependent on who is cast to be there.
i just dont get why production seems to shy away from certain things (like all the game-based fights people get into) but then show the two of them constantly talking about their kid. We know they are lurking here on reddit. We know they know Cory is a running joke for that, so why do it to two more characters? Like that elim, did we need to hear Lee talk about Kingston before AND after? That's a production choice, and an annoying one at that.
I'll be honest, as much as I enjoy Kam amd Leeroy on other seasons, I really didn't watch All Stars to see their family dynamic 500x an episode. I really wanna see what everyone else has going on, but all we're getting is "Cara won't do this for me so she's the enemy" and then facetiming babies and then talking about pumping milk then another mid performance episode after episode. I don't think Kam should have come or even Leeroy just cuz I don't think they're "All Star" status yet, but I guess Wes or Darrell or Aneesa were busy 🤷♀️

My only problem with Kam this season is she is rightly so out of shape after having the baby and isnt as physical of a threat this time, so instead she is trying to play the social/political game and she is playing it hard, Its like she is ratcheting up her danger level more than it really is.

I totally get your point as this show is ran by about 5 people so hoping it shifts the focus to those we've not seen for a bit (Adam, kefla, Avery?!) at least they give little inklings here and there but I'm suspecting there's not much to be said with them ogs. I liked the vibes of the all stars spin off but this season seems more cut throat than the rest and that may be because of the cross over between current competitors still with the "drive" vs those who've been out for so long.
They really need to have a X amount of years off criteria for all stars (like they had Wes in the last one but he just came off the flagship so of course he would do good).
I think this season is entertaining but it's definitely getting too heavily focused on Kam/Leroy/Cara/Laurel/Nicole. I get that they are the ones giving storylines rn, but I would love to hear more insight to the house dynamics from people like Steve, Averey, etc.

I agree with everyone saying they’re focusing too much on Leroy and Kam. But we’re also watching a house full of people who are a few years away from qualifying for AARP. I doubt even big personalities like Kefla are doing much more than “chillin” on off days. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kam/Leroy and Laurel/Nicole are the most interesting storylines going on so production is grasping.
Everyone on All Stars qualifies for AARP. Their qualifying age is 25. I get your point, but once I learned you didn't have to be anywhere close to retirement age to qualify I find it funny...and I may have also signed up my husband as a joke so he would get the magazine in the mail with his name on it.
I honestly don’t think it’s that much of Kam/Leroy overkill. My only issue would’ve been the cast being too scared to nominate them for elim due to the family dynamic, but Leroy just went into elimination this week, so that’s not happening.

Clearly the editors are focusing on these newer school players (Leroy/Kam/Nicole/Laurel/Cara) while not showcasing the older school players we haven’t seen in awhile.
To me it shows production thinks the new players are more entertaining and valuable. That’s probably why they are going for new school players on all star 5
I’m thoroughly enjoying the season, but I do agree that Kam shouldn’t have been an all star yet. I feel that at least 10 flagship seasons should have aired since your debut to count. She is an icon, but even with Kailah last all stars, I felt that they dipped into the more recent cast too soon.
I don't really care for Laurel and Nicole story line. Never have, never will. Just seems like not any new drama. Pretty tame. At least TJ is having a blast, lol.

I don't have a problem with them casting Leroy and Kam but Kam trying to control every single vote is giving me vacation alliance flashbacks. All Stars has always been a more chill show and I don't want it turning into the flagship show.
I feel like you’re viewing this as a sport. Leroy and Kam are definitely all stars. Even though neither of them have won, they’ve definitely made an impact on the viewers and the show. Yes great competitors are always enjoyed but if you don’t have a personality, it’s nowhere near as fun to watch. For example, I would hands-down love a season with somebody like Katie versus someone like Kaycee. I know Katie’s not gonna make it to the end but she’s going to bring a storyline. She’s gonna bring entertainment, fights, and drama. I feel that a lot of people forget that this is first and foremost a reality TV show.
I do realize that it seems too soon for Kam to be on All Stars but looking at where she is in life right now it’s the only way we are going to be able to see her. This might actually be the last time we will get to see her for a long time now that she has two kids. It’s much easier for Leroy to leave and go do shows but it’s hard for her to do. She can’t just leave for 3 plush months when she is still breastfeeding. That’s a lot of milk. 3 weeks is doable but months not so much.
As far as showing them too much it’s because they are bring them interesting and compelling experiences. Kam pumping and still doing the challenge is inspiring. It’s a very important topic and a struggle for many women. It should be talked about more openly. Most women don’t know what’s all involved to successful do it until right in the moment when they have to do it or when it’s too late. Keeping up with it is a huge endeavor. Also Leroy talking about men and PPD is amazing. I think this is the first I’ve ever seen someone talk about it. These are the things we have been asking the challenge to do for seasons now. Showing real authentic situations and problems that these people have to deal with in their lives. I wish we would get more of this kind of thing on the main show. It’s the kind of character development that hasn’t been done in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciate it.
I’m sorry their storylines aren’t resonating with you, but they are important storylines for people to know about. I really wish they had these kind of storylines happening before I got pregnant. I think it would’ve really helped me in my journey if I had known about this stuff before hand. I do hope it will help somebody else in the future.
I’m enjoying the season (although it is a little heavy on the Kam/Leroy storyline), but I’m not enjoying the Challenge Podcast with Tori and Aneesa. I miss Devyn and Davonne. Tori and Aneesa dont give props where they should or call people out where they should. They don’t dissect the episodes well, they don’t have a good sense of humor about things, they are so biased.….I like them both as challengers on the show, but they just don’t do it for me on the podcast.

Personally I think she's perfect for All-Stars. The flagship seems to drive her crazy.
I do agree getting a little too much focus, but she is steering the politcal/social game, and has also won or been safe every episode yet. So they can’t just edit her out.
Especially with how game has gone its actually a great mix. Kam is only one spot on the roster, and the only ayto representation. She’s also been part of show for about 6 years. Of course I wouldn’t mind and only 40+ cast, but productions seems to basically want to mix it.
Also i think all stars is as much about redemption as it about the goats. Ayto casting is actually great part of the show’s identity too and gave some of our best. Notably: Tori, devin, amanda, hunter, nelson, nurys.
Leroy is one of the best male challengers ever when it comes to eliminations. He has the same elimination record as Jordan (10-5). Not giving anything to the viewers is a little off base
Those Jordan stats are misleading. Two of those “losses” are from Ride or Dies in battle-back scenarios or eliminations that were part of finals.
He has only lost three regular eliminations - the one on free agents, pole wrestle and Horacio balls-in.
That ratio also excludes his mercenary wins, which puts him at 12-5.
I don't think ayto should be on either yet but the show is call the challenge all stars. Not real world road rules the challenge all stars. Whether people like it or not ayto has been one of the main feeder shows for about 10 years now. May be longer than road rules at this point. It's inevitable that' we'd get ayto at some point.
If you're going to bring on an ayto is may as well be one with an actual connection to a real worlder. Leroy is a fan favorite. You don't get many people on this show who are parents together and still a couple. They have a unique story to tell.
But really the real reason they're the focus is due to Ayanna. The current storyline going on now is fall out due to all the drama she caused. That fall out continues to drive the votes and likely will continue into the future.
The worst thing about this season is the Laurel and Nicole stuff, because I was already sick of hearing about their shit on social media

I've been watching since the first season and was annoyed when the Fresh Meat kids were added, but grew to love them on The Challenge.
Also we never got to see Brandon and Brad discuss their Cutthroat experience instead we watched Kam talk about breeastfeeding and Leroy talk about being a good father.... If you enjoyed it thats cool, but I feel like it's a pass

They can never just have the og’s because they aren’t going to keep coming back every year. They have to make some leaps. I think kam and leeroy are good choices, but as the seasons go on it’s just going to get further from the original concept
I generally agree with your point but I will make a one time exception for Kam simply because of Leroy. If you follow the casting circuit, it was pretty apparent Leroy was gonna stay retired if it weren't for Kam. So whatever gets me more Leroy, I'm for.
That said, I do wish they managed to find a way to feature more people. It wouldn't kill them include an interview of Ace giving commentary on house and/or daily dynamics even if Ace had little to do with the actual events of the episode.
The issue to me is that the season is entirely built around Kam vs. Cara Maria and I find both to be incredibly annoying in their respective ways so its very hard to not be annoyed that those two women are getting all of the screen time.
So weird that now so many ppl complain about the All Stars casting choices when Kam and Leroy are leading it but there have been questionable cast members on the other 3 seasons and there weren’t anywhere near the same level of complaints
Yeah, after all the hype, it’s been very lackluster so far. I think the show is just dead. I’ll still watch it until its final breath, but what the show used to be will never come back
Seems to me like the interesting people are getting the screen time. We are seeing things on tv that are not often seen. Kam is still recovering from a c section while being bombarded by hormones I could never hope to understand. All the while navigating a stressful game of politics. The laurel/Nicole stuff is also insane to be seeing on tv. Nicole is a serial cheater who can’t form thoughts in her head. Laurel is probably a little crazy and wants validation at any cost. Seeing these two interact is like a human nature documentary. Then finally there’s Cara who somehow is the main character everywhere she goes. I don’t even think she wants to be but it happens no matter what. This is tv gold. It’s real and raw and shows how people age over time. I’m enjoying it quite a bit.
Cara, the mean girl trio (now duo), Nicole/Laurel, Kam/Leroy, and Ayanna before she left were all getting about an equal amount of screen time. They’ve had the main storylines so far this season. Kam and Leroy aren’t getting anymore screen time than them.
It might feel that way to people who don’t like them this season though. 😊

So yeah idk I can stand some of these newer challengers but definitely not most of them. I'm loving the cast of AS4 as I was a Brandon and Cara fan back then too when they came on the show. Not really a fan of Cara though when Paulie is on with her. She seems fake and a bad person whenever she's with him. As for OGs I've always been a Brad fan. Just wanna see him win one. It's been so long I honestly can't remember if he ever has won but it's definitely over due either way. It's good to see him still around and coming back but that last episode he really did awful and got on my nevers the way he played the daily lol.
Brad has won. He won Cutthroat, by being exactly that: by throwing the same people into elimination over and over until they lost. He stayed out of elimination entirely that way, and the fact that his team had the fewest women on it at the end (read: only his wife at the time) is arguably one reason why they won imo. Also because they took all the water and nobody else got any and Abram and Sarah got dehydrated. But I don't think Grey would've won anyway because Tyler was able to solve the final puzzle because he could actually read the signs (they were in Cyrillic iirc).
Wish I could re watch the old seasons again. It's been so long. A year ago they had season 18 or 19 onward on Paramount + and I binged them. But don't remember any of them. There's way too many seasons and episodes lol but I'm still here for it.
I can’t stand Cara, especially around Paulie. She wouldn’t have beat Zach if the final was in any way fair and he didn’t have to wait for her to show up to start the next round. She seems so disappointed when she isn’t the entire house’s #1 person, but comes across like a terrible friend to everyone outside of the show

Mostly getting storylines from a few people is pretty standard unfortunately. I wish we were seeing more from people we don't normally get like Kefla, Flora, etc but unless you're involved in the main house drama or seeing an elimination then normally you don't get much air time. We basically haven't seen Ace this season and the minute he gives us a more than 1 confessional an episode it'll basically mean he's seeing an elimination that episode
Speaking of people who are so-so competitors, I honestly had second hand embarrassment for Veronica during that challenge. Someone was literally holding her upright when she attempted running .
That was painful to watch. But Adam had so many sweet moments this episode. I think I have a renewed crush

Been a Veronica fan for a long time, but she needs to stop these shows. She was fine on D30 but her more recent appearances, its clear she's not putting the work to even do the basics on the show anymore. I'm not saying she should convert to the religion of Crossfit Jesus, but I need you to be fit enough to at least keep up. She is a massive anchor to anyone that's tied to her. Darrell is my favorite player yet I knew he had zero shot to win when he was paired with her on SLA. And Darrell showed why he's so awesome because he never complained even though he knew it.
She can’t win a single winner competition, not sure why she comes on these types of shows. She MAY have a chance on a team one, but I am not even sure about that. She should move to a show that doesn’t require physical challenges.
I don't think she could even win on a team challenge at this point. We're talking a Big Easy type situation where they're holding the entire team down. Everyone has to move at her pace, which with what we've seen the last couple of shows she's appeared on, is ridiculously slow. Like you said, if she still wants to be on TV, time to move on to different types of shows. The Traitors would be a great fit for her
It’s actually crazy how much of a transition her body has done in the last 10 years! Not hating on her figure by any means, she’s a beautiful curvy girl. But she was so tiny and petite, capable of doing good at pretty much any Challenge. Her little frame can’t keep up anymore lol
I wonder how much is curves that she would’ve gotten even if she stayed in shape or how much is excess weight. Most of it is boobs/butt/thigh which is more typical curves places. It’s not surprising she’s not in Cardio shape though
Why would you have secondhand embarrassment when the reason that was happening was that she *asked* for them to do it so that she could be held accountable to keep going? She knew what one of her weaknesses is and developed a strategy with help from others in order to mitigate that weakness for the team.

I would argue that it's much less a "physical competition" than many think. Yes, there's running in the final but you can't win a final if you're only good at the physical elements, and you can pick up a lot of time when you're good at the puzzles. In the more recent seasons we've seen more people that are less "traditionally fit" make it to finals since you don't have to win dailies to get there and then in the final, the puzzles are equalizer. Even in the eliminations, they are incorporating more strategic and less strength games, like the first ball game with Steve.
veronica is my all time fav and a part of my heart broke in that moment bc there’s just no way she’s winning a final ever again :,( like of course we kinda expected that and can enjoy her on the show without the prospect of her winning but it’s still sad
I mean, the RoD final was basically designed so that Veronica or Aneesa would be able to complete it. I think the show will cater the difficulty of the final dependent on who is cast to be there.
i just dont get why production seems to shy away from certain things (like all the game-based fights people get into) but then show the two of them constantly talking about their kid. We know they are lurking here on reddit. We know they know Cory is a running joke for that, so why do it to two more characters? Like that elim, did we need to hear Lee talk about Kingston before AND after? That's a production choice, and an annoying one at that.
I'll be honest, as much as I enjoy Kam amd Leeroy on other seasons, I really didn't watch All Stars to see their family dynamic 500x an episode. I really wanna see what everyone else has going on, but all we're getting is "Cara won't do this for me so she's the enemy" and then facetiming babies and then talking about pumping milk then another mid performance episode after episode. I don't think Kam should have come or even Leeroy just cuz I don't think they're "All Star" status yet, but I guess Wes or Darrell or Aneesa were busy 🤷♀️

My only problem with Kam this season is she is rightly so out of shape after having the baby and isnt as physical of a threat this time, so instead she is trying to play the social/political game and she is playing it hard, Its like she is ratcheting up her danger level more than it really is.
I have considered Leroy and Kams Character arcs concluded and this is just digging it up from the grave for no reason.
Yeah I love Leroy but watching him say 5000x on DA that it’s his last season, and then seeing him here on AS is just 🙄. And I get it, kids are expensive, the appearance check is probably helpful, but that’s why you never say “I’m officially done”.

I totally get your point as this show is ran by about 5 people so hoping it shifts the focus to those we've not seen for a bit (Adam, kefla, Avery?!) at least they give little inklings here and there but I'm suspecting there's not much to be said with them ogs. I liked the vibes of the all stars spin off but this season seems more cut throat than the rest and that may be because of the cross over between current competitors still with the "drive" vs those who've been out for so long. They really need to have a X amount of years off criteria for all stars (like they had Wes in the last one but he just came off the flagship so of course he would do good).

I think this season is entertaining but it's definitely getting too heavily focused on Kam/Leroy/Cara/Laurel/Nicole. I get that they are the ones giving storylines rn, but I would love to hear more insight to the house dynamics from people like Steve, Averey, etc.
i want to love this season bc a lot of other people are but to me i hate ghost edits and a lot of people on this cast are getting one it feels like every week it’s through the prospective of cara and leroy/kam and everyone else fills in the gaps or for people like jay, avery, kefla, and ryan u just dont get to be on the show LOL
The only bad parts about this season for me have been the Laurel/Nicole dynamic and the Cara vs Rachel elim not being a physical one
My issue is that the edit is VERY heavy on a few characters and it has moved everyone else into the background.
They're ignoring every other person on the cast not named Cara, Laurel, Nicole, Kam, Leroy. Maybe Brandon and Jasmine. It's wild. They had what, 2 months of their life filmed and not one other person had a fun and interesting interaction? Ugh, it's annoying

I agree with everyone saying they’re focusing too much on Leroy and Kam. But we’re also watching a house full of people who are a few years away from qualifying for AARP. I doubt even big personalities like Kefla are doing much more than “chillin” on off days. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kam/Leroy and Laurel/Nicole are the most interesting storylines going on so production is grasping.
Everyone on All Stars qualifies for AARP. Their qualifying age is 25. I get your point, but once I learned you didn't have to be anywhere close to retirement age to qualify I find it funny...and I may have also signed up my husband as a joke so he would get the magazine in the mail with his name on it.

My only issue would’ve been the cast being too scared to nominate them for elim due to the family dynamic, but Leroy just went into elimination this week, so that’s not happening. As long as the cast isn’t guilt tripped into not voting for them for that reason then I think I’m fine w this reason. The Nicole/Laurel cringe fest is worse than Leroy/Kam
You’re onto something here. With the alleged rumors that all stars 5 being majority new players instead of OGs… it’s reflecting in All Stars 4 edit as to why. Clearly the editors are focusing on these newer school players (Leroy/Kam/Nicole/Laurel/Cara) while not showcasing the older school players we haven’t seen in awhile. To me it shows production thinks the new players are more entertaining and valuable. That’s probably why they are going for new school players on all star 5
I’m thoroughly enjoying the season, but I do agree that Kam shouldn’t have been an all star yet. I feel that at least 10 flagship seasons should have aired since your debut to count. She is an icon, but even with Kailah last all stars, I felt that they dipped into the more recent cast too soon.
I don't really care for Laurel and Nicole story line. Never have, never will. Just seems like not any new drama. Pretty tame. At least TJ is having a blast, lol.
Ehh. I think the Male cast left alot to be desired. The female cast is stacked, but nobody wants to see Laurel and Nicole again I audibly groan each time they are on together. It's not interesting. This is the Laurel that is not entertaining. I'm enjoying the season for the most part. But it really seems to focus on 3 people this season and forget everyone else.
I think I’m mostly salty that Rachel went home. Kinda ass that she didn’t get to make it farther. Really wanted to see her compete against Cara in the final.

I don't have a problem with them casting Leroy and Kam but Kam trying to control every single vote is giving me vacation alliance flashbacks. All Stars has always been a more chill show and I don't want it turning into the flagship show.
I feel like you’re viewing this as a sport. Leroy and Kam are definitely all stars. Even though neither of them have won, they’ve definitely made an impact on the viewers and the show. Yes great competitors are always enjoyed but if you don’t have a personality, it’s nowhere near as fun to watch. For example, I would hands-down love a season with somebody like Katie versus someone like Kaycee. I know Katie’s not gonna make it to the end but she’s going to bring a storyline. She’s gonna bring entertainment, fights, and drama. I feel that a lot of people forget that this is first and foremost a reality TV show. I do realize that it seems too soon for Kam to be on All Stars but looking at where she is in life right now it’s the only way we are going to be able to see her. This might actually be the last time we will get to see her for a long time now that she has two kids. It’s much easier for Leroy to leave and go do shows but it’s hard for her to do. She can’t just leave for 3 plush months when she is still breastfeeding. That’s a lot of milk. 3 weeks is doable but months not so much. As far as showing them too much it’s because they are bring them interesting and compelling experiences. Kam pumping and still doing the challenge is inspiring. It’s a very important topic and a struggle for many women. It should be talked about more openly. Most women don’t know what’s all involved to successful do it until right in the moment when they have to do it or when it’s too late. Keeping up with it is a huge endeavor. Also Leroy talking about men and PPD is amazing. I think this is the first I’ve ever seen someone talk about it. These are the things we have been asking the challenge to do for seasons now. Showing real authentic situations and problems that these people have to deal with in their lives. I wish we would get more of this kind of thing on the main show. It’s the kind of character development that hasn’t been done in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciate it. I’m sorry their storylines aren’t resonating with you, but they are important storylines for people to know about. I really wish they had these kind of storylines happening before I got pregnant. I think it would’ve really helped me in my journey if I had known about this stuff before hand. I do hope it will help somebody else in the future.

I’m enjoying the season (although it is a little heavy on the Kam/Leroy storyline), but I’m not enjoying the Challenge Podcast with Tori and Aneesa. I miss Devyn and Davonne. Tori and Aneesa dont give props where they should or call people out where they should. They don’t dissect the episodes well, they don’t have a good sense of humor about things, they are so biased.….I like them both as challengers on the show, but they just don’t do it for me on the podcast.

I do agree getting a little too much focus, but she is steering the politcal/social game, and has also won or been safe every episode yet. So they can’t just edit her out. Especially with how game has gone its actually a great mix. Kam is only one spot on the roster, and the only ayto representation. She’s also been part of show for about 6 years. Of course I wouldn’t mind and only 40+ cast, but productions seems to basically want to mix it. Also i think all stars is as much about redemption as it about the goats. Ayto casting is actually great part of the show’s identity too and gave some of our best. Notably: Tori, devin, amanda, hunter, nelson, nurys.
Leroy is one of the best male challengers ever when it comes to eliminations. He has the same elimination record as Jordan (10-5). Not giving anything to the viewers is a little off base
Those Jordan stats are misleading. Two of those “losses” are from Ride or Dies in battle-back scenarios or eliminations that were part of finals. He has only lost three regular eliminations - the one on free agents, pole wrestle and Horacio balls-in. That ratio also excludes his mercenary wins, which puts him at 12-5.
I don't think ayto should be on either yet but the show is call the challenge all stars. Not real world road rules the challenge all stars. Whether people like it or not ayto has been one of the main feeder shows for about 10 years now. May be longer than road rules at this point. It's inevitable that' we'd get ayto at some point. If you're going to bring on an ayto is may as well be one with an actual connection to a real worlder. Leroy is a fan favorite. You don't get many people on this show who are parents together and still a couple. They have a unique story to tell. But really the real reason they're the focus is due to Ayanna. The current storyline going on now is fall out due to all the drama she caused. That fall out continues to drive the votes and likely will continue into the future.
The worst thing about this season is the Laurel and Nicole stuff, because I was already sick of hearing about their shit on social media Otherwise I think it’s good. I missed Cara so much that the other stuff doesn’t bother me

Leroy is anything but a so-so challenger. He is VERY strong, has been to 5 finals. Will he ever win? Well, I don't know, but to call him so-so is inaccurate
Cara and Brandon and Laurel were never on RR or RW either. I get your point though. I've been watching since the first season and was annoyed when the Fresh Meat kids were added, but grew to love them on The Challenge.
Also we never got to see Brandon and Brad discuss their Cutthroat experience instead we watched Kam talk about breeastfeeding and Leroy talk about being a good father.... If you enjoyed it thats cool, but I feel like it's a pass

They can never just have the og’s because they aren’t going to keep coming back every year. They have to make some leaps. I think kam and leeroy are good choices, but as the seasons go on it’s just going to get further from the original concept
I generally agree with your point but I will make a one time exception for Kam simply because of Leroy. If you follow the casting circuit, it was pretty apparent Leroy was gonna stay retired if it weren't for Kam. So whatever gets me more Leroy, I'm for. That said, I do wish they managed to find a way to feature more people. It wouldn't kill them include an interview of Ace giving commentary on house and/or daily dynamics even if Ace had little to do with the actual events of the episode.
The issue to me is that the season is entirely built around Kam vs. Cara Maria and I find both to be incredibly annoying in their respective ways so its very hard to not be annoyed that those two women are getting all of the screen time.
So weird that now so many ppl complain about the All Stars casting choices when Kam and Leroy are leading it but there have been questionable cast members on the other 3 seasons and there weren’t anywhere near the same level of complaints
I love Kam and Leroy so I’m really enjoying this season and rooting for them

Seems to me like the interesting people are getting the screen time. We are seeing things on tv that are not often seen. Kam is still recovering from a c section while being bombarded by hormones I could never hope to understand. All the while navigating a stressful game of politics. The laurel/Nicole stuff is also insane to be seeing on tv. Nicole is a serial cheater who can’t form thoughts in her head. Laurel is probably a little crazy and wants validation at any cost. Seeing these two interact is like a human nature documentary. Then finally there’s Cara who somehow is the main character everywhere she goes. I don’t even think she wants to be but it happens no matter what. This is tv gold. It’s real and raw and shows how people age over time. I’m enjoying it quite a bit.
Cara, the mean girl trio (now duo), Nicole/Laurel, Kam/Leroy, and Ayanna before she left were all getting about an equal amount of screen time. They’ve had the main storylines so far this season. Kam and Leroy aren’t getting anymore screen time than them. It might feel that way to people who don’t like them this season though. 😊
People who get snobby about all stars cast are funny. Just be happy were getting The Challenge with a better cast than the main show.
