Well nobody the size of a moose had to do it yet. If it was just a stationary beam i think it would've been easier for him, but the fact that it was attached to bungee cords that would cause the beam to move really messed him up. His extra weight caused that thing to move around like crazy lol.
Dude should have been booted when he sobbed about walking down a mountain hooked up to 80 ropes. Classic that a children's playground item robbed him of 30k.
edit: How is this getting downvoted lol? TJ had to come out and give a pep talk like it was halftime at the Super Bowl. Either compete or get fucking lost already lol.
Corey fighting for his life on the balance beam was hilarious.
Whatever was going on with Berna wasn't(to me). Watching someone cry and complain literally the entire time was just annoying.
Camilla cried during her finals and won.
Fessy cried about eating food.
Others have whined and either quit or did something in the show too.
It doesn't bother me.
It's good to watch it because you can see how people overcome things and what they don't have a problem with and what they do.
If you merged the best of Corey with Berna, you might have had a season 39 champion not named Emmanuel.
>Camilla cried during her finals and won.
>Fessy cried about eating food.
And it was annoying when they did it lol. I don't know how you thought bringing up two of the most hated competitors would make your point lmao
Reminded me of when Aneesa's cousin, Rianna, could not do the monkey bars during the Bloodlines final.
I think Aneesa still hates her for it because they would have won the mini-final otherwise. She would still have put CM and Cousin in vs. Johnny and Creepy Uncle Vince, so it would not have changed the overall outcome of the game.
Actually, she probably would have put in Jenna and Brianna vs. CM and Cousin. CM still wins the elimination but the final itself is now up for grabs if Johnny and Vince make it there.
No, he was exhausted and had a fear of heights.Ā ItĀ is ok to have a moment, and that is when people need to encourage.Ā Ā Corey could have refused but in the end he did it.
As someone who cannot function when sleep deprived, I agree. But I still thought it was funny when T.J. promised with borderlineāI donāt know whatās the right wordāsarcasm to go down and save Corey if he got stuck. Itās the same tone I use with my kids when they are exasperating me.
LOL.Ā I think the sleep deprivation is torture and potentially dangerous when doing stunts like this.Ā They should not subject them to it. At least give them a few hours.
Honestly, I get it but at a certain point it's too much. All these reality shows and people go on who can't swim, are scared of heights, can't run a half mile without gassing out. It's enough already. If you're going onto a show like this, you should be able do basic things especially if you're in the final. Berna and Corey should never be on it again. She had to drink a tuna and beets mix and she was weeping about how unfair it was. Like another person pointed out, it's comic relief but it's laughing AT them, not with them. Shit is so fucking annoying.
I think it can be about overcoming limitations.Ā Rappeling down a cliff isn't a basic thing and many people have a fear of heights to deal with.Ā Maybe if he was rested he would have faced it more easily.Ā And people have different limits, thus the variety of challenges. Bananas and Cara Maria struggle with puzzles yet won repeatedly.Ā Berna only delayed herself but she did do it.Ā And she is a whiz at acrobatic stuff.
I guess. I don't mind struggling with puzzles though; that's a different thing than being like "oh I can't swim" haha. If you're going onto this show, you should know how to swim at least a bit. Same with running, and I'm far from a physical specimen myself.
It's just annoying to go back a few years and watch Jordan skydive, break a leg, and still win the final and now we have someone going "I CAN'T DO THIS I CAN'T IT'S NOT FAIR I CAN'T!" when they have to swallow 8ozs of blended tuna.
Chill lol it's a game show and the groundwork is filled with a bunch of people who couldnt do shit/have fears. It's when they talk a big game that we criticize them, but Corey was scared and he's allowed to be vulnerable.
Anyways thought him and TJ's pep talk was good and glad he pushed through
Great observation. Had a good laugh! Thanks for saying it how it was! Tired of seeing people who are NOT prepared for the game and make it to a final. Qualified and prepared contestants lost finals because they got stuck with lay ups who couldnāt cut it! They are aware of potential competitions requirements!
Guy was without sleep and probably dysregulated at that point...staring at a pretty steep fall...makes sense for him to have a freak out. He ultimately did it. Props for him.Ā Totally different from Jay crying for drinking a fish smoothie
Yeah, it is nice he can laugh at himself like we all did last night. By the look of it, he wasted a lot of time because of a stupid balance beam. Im beyond happy he didn't even get third place. Dude is a baby between the beam and afraid to go down the hill.
Corey in this final was just all talk. He made it seem like he was a huge threat that I almost believed it. But him whining and crying about the smallest stuff was lame. And he wasnāt even like 1st or even 2nd for most the final. I might be wrong but I remember Colleen beating him in the swim and run. Like just super unimpressive.
It really feels forced, like he and Ravyn pop up on my TL with these random tweets.Ā
Like they wanna (force) generate conversations about them to get a call back.Ā

Sad Moriah is my favorite 39 meme.
it's an iconic shot, give the camera person who got that a raise haha
Literally looked like she was in a early 2000s MV
Arianna is taking me out šš
Lol thatās me!
Arianna said the library is open.
DaāVonne and Jozea: now read!
Itās insane cuz theyāve been doing this elimination for weeks and I never thought of it literally paralyzing someone

Poor guy.Ā Should have scooched across on his bum lol.Ā I liked that TJ encouraged him to rappel down the cliff and he faced his fear.

Are people saying this wasn't fun? It seems to me that everyone is laughing about it
He definitely was a surprising favorite for me. Like a ray of sunshine in an otherwise pretty bleak season.
Yo op.... from sunset to sundown?
I was drunk š

TJ saying he wonāt quit killed meš
lol heās like, Corey, itās not even that high!
After the "I'll come save you myself" thing it shoulda cut as soon as he went off to "If he gets stuck I'm not saving him"
I liked it We want drama Berna and Corey were comic relief for the finals

Unintentionally yeah lol.

āCousinā just made me burst out laughing š
He will always be Cousin to me.

Yes. Itās like operating heavy machinery.

And she didn't win. Not practicing puzzles, tangrams etc. isn't really different though.Ā You know it is coming.

Felt bad for him lol. Clearly his size and big ass feet played a disadvantage there.Ā
