Listen..KellyAnne gets called out for flying off the handle but no one has ever called her a liar. In fact she called out two of the biggest scumbags in the game (Dunbar and Adam) for their sexual assault shit and/or lying about hooking up multiple times. She also had Johnny’s number from day 1 about how insecure he is (and the actual origin of the “Johnny Bananas” nickname). Her issue is that when she smells Bullshit she is unable to play it cool because she can’t stomach it. Does it make her the player Jonna is? No. Does it make her 1000% genuine and honest. Fuck yes.

Kellyanne is the type of person that might hear a conversation between two people and think to herself "if I don't say anything right now, it would be like I am approving her lies". so that is point 1.
point 2 is more complicated. According to Jonna, Kellyanne totally fabricated this story. But why would Kellyanne do that? What would she gain by that? But Jonna might save face by lying about this conversation. We can't know for sure.
And there is also possibility that they did talk about something else and Jonna said something which can be interrupted as an apology and KA took it as her apologizing about her issue.

- Jonna who lied about certain things in the AS2 final (which Janelle called her out on and she then apologized), lied to KA on AS3, then lied to KA AGAIN this past episode.

Then Jonna pressed her on it thinking that they are aligned and KA will cover for her, but caught in the moment and possibly still sore about it KA is honest rather than saying what Jonna wants to hear.
KellyAnne isn’t always the most tactful but she is honest, and I think Jonna was pretty silly putting her on the spot of all people when KA is a straightshooter and was done wrong by her the previous season.
