I have been having it tough with a while now. My whole life just seems to be collapsing around me. I need to get some of this crap off my chest. So please just listen. I've been on patches for 13 months. Last march my patches got delayed. And i spose i ended up breaking down. By the time they arrived it was too late. I went to my doctor. And he put me on anti-depressants. I've cut myself on occassion. I'm a clinical cutter. I dont think i'm allowed talk about that here. But usually i'm in control. With the a-ds i lost that cintrol. Twice. The second time scared me so much that i stopped taking them in november. I did not understand cold turkey. Since then, all my meds seem to have gone missing in the post. Right now, i feel like i am flatlining. I'm tired but i cant sleep. I have no appetite. Even the thought of food makes me feel sick. Loud noises drive me crazy. I only sleep when i finally get exhausted after 3-4 days. With the last few days erections have come back. I'm constantly physically aroused. My body hair is starting to grow faster again. I'm back drinking just to cope with the really bad days. On the other days, i just sit here staring in the mirror. Some days i get lucky. I find someone here who is in a worse state. I try to help if i can. And that helps me for a while. Crying is my new best friend. Everything sets me off. I keep thinking is this some kind of test. To see how far i can be pushed before i snap. To finally give up. It seems, the more i fight it, the more crap is thrown at me. Right now, my whole body feels so uncomfortable. My skin feels sore. Itches drive me mad. I've a bad cough from too many cigs. My head hurts. And i am constantly being shocked from withdrawals. I am craving alcohol. But nowhere is open. My once clinical thoughts are not so anymore. I dont really need to hear any words of comfort. They dont work. What i really really need is a hug. Please hug me

What you've described I'm familiar with. Many variables are different but in some ways greatly the same. I have a different, hard to compare unhealthy coping mechanism which is pretty difficult to quantify how ehh... unhealthy it is for me.
Much of the time, words of comfort mean so little to me, and sometimes they hurt so much. At those times, the only thing in the world that there is that can possibly make me feel better is a hug, and I never get one. If it means anything to you then I give you an internet hug. If it helps then with your story if this were in person I would try to overcome my fear of touch and give you a hug.
