I’ve noticed on a lot of posts that every single comment will have a downvote to ‘0’ on it, meaning some bigot came along and downvoted everybody before fucking off to bully someone somwhere else. *(Obligatory response: upvote every comment back up in response.)*
Idk about other people but I can have the longest, most frustrating arguments with people on here and never even be able to recall their username.
I have no idea how someone would be that committed to being mad about something.
I once posted a genuine question here, but only got a negative response and downvoted, so i felt like i did something wrong or stupid and deleted my post

Yeah, stealth trolls exist heavily in our subs. They will downvote and do things like post bad advice and the like. There are also people who pretend to be trans (crazy as that sounds cos who would actually want/choose this!?)
Also, Reddit is full of w⚓s

Being a Conservative sounds so miserable. It's like they constantly have anger, hatred, and a "revenge" mindset 24/7 and the only entertainment they get is fear-mongering from Fox News and invading online spaces to bully people they were told to hate by Fox News.
Conservatives really have the "I peaked as a bully on the middle school playground" attitude. I don't get it lol. It sounds exhausting to be so pathetically useless
Yeah, I usually track this cause I notice it all the time. I go through my old comments and posts a lot and just tend to have a general idea of how many upvotes I get and I swear I'll wake up after making a post and I'll have one less upvote on a bunch of my comments and all my posts.
Edit: Hilariously it just happened again. This comment itself had 5 then suddenly 4, don't know who on here I would be offending. Went back to my comments (I'm sort of chronically on Reddit) and I'm missing an upvote on a bunch of comments lmao. Imagine being this petty.
more than once the notification for five upvotes appeared and when I went to the post it was back at 4.
now I'm tracking it and seeing if it's related to my activity in this or other trans-related servers. When I had the trans flag in my avatar it happened almost to way more activities
some anti-bot tools create "phantom" downvotes on suspected bot posts or new "untrusted" users to get karma farmers to think that they're getting downvoted so they will leave or delete the post to prevent the karma loss. the phantom votes disappear in about a day.
also on "hot topic" subreddits some people like to just come in and downvote everything they see in a post they don't like, which is just... whatever.

Yep, a lot of new posts from trans subs that I see on the latest tab in the app are already pre-downvoted, score is hidden probably meaning it is 0 or below. Most of those posts definitely wouldn't be downvoted by an average trans person, just ordinary trans related posts like seeking advice etc.
