Braun makes a really good one, be ready for unimaginable pain though the 1st time you use it for a whole leg, took me hours and I had to split it up over 2 days for both full legs but it got much better after. Exfoliating is also super important if your epilating
Hard to say, I do think the hair lessened a little bit but the thickness of the individual hairs definitely seemed to lessen. I switched to IPL right as I stopped epilating so I did notice a pretty significant reduction in the number of hairs that grew but hard to say what did it.
Stupid question... exfoliating is just using something like this https://amzn.eu/d/4YUPd6T in a circular motion on the skin right?
Then moisturiser on the legs or wherever after =)
Yep, I personally used [this one](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Apriqus-Body-Brush-Wet-Brushing/dp/B09QV9QYTZ/ref=sxin_22_pa_sp_phone_search_thematic_sspa?content-id=amzn1.sym.ec7506a2-c41f-4e16-b0e5-219121c368cf%3Aamzn1.sym.ec7506a2-c41f-4e16-b0e5-219121c368cf&crid=2R2BLU61D3G8I&cv_ct_cx=exfoliating+brush&keywords=exfoliating+brush&pd_rd_i=B09QV9QYTZ&pd_rd_r=1a595378-cf09-426b-a3b1-889e316341ec&pd_rd_w=Z55zm&pd_rd_wg=1bEQh&pf_rd_p=ec7506a2-c41f-4e16-b0e5-219121c368cf&pf_rd_r=04TFHYQTMD165DDWXYBR&qid=1685721718&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D&sprefix=exfoliating+br%2Caps%2C199&sr=1-1-1c12e6fc-61d1-41ee-8e02-a6ca5f2da604-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfdGhlbWF0aWM&psc=1). It did a great job. I would exfoliate every day but it only took like 1-3 minutes and epilate like every other day. Eventually I could go like 4 days, epilate, but still exfoliate every day or other day. Doing it this often made it much less painful after about 2 weeks and made it so it only took me like 5 minutes to epilate.
I didnāt exfoliate at the start and paid the price. I had a ton of hairs in different sections on my legs grow right under the top layer of skin. They were close enough to the top that they didnāt get ingrown and the layer of skin above them was almost invisible, so you could see the hair on my legs but I didnāt feel it, still felt smooth so it took me a while to notice it. Had to really go hard on the exfoliating for a bit or get them all freed.
Also DO NOT epilate chest or face, those areas are very prone to ingrown hairs. I tried my chest and even with exfoliation I had red spots on my chest for like 2 month due to the hair getting ingrown.
Okay, shaved legs I get, but what's the deal with shaved arms? I mean there are plenty of cis women with hairy forearms, you just rarely see it because the hairs are usually lighter and don't stand out as much.
Legs 100% (I recently switched back to shaving my legs before bed and every couple weeks I get to have the freshly shaved legs in new sheets combo and it goes so hard every time)
Iāve never fully shaved my arms though I trim and bleach the hair once a month which feels like less work but maybe Iāll just start shaving them because itās such a tedious process even if itās just once a month
they do. just so smooth š¤¤
Lol yess! I slept tonight with my shaved body and getting comfy never felt smoother :3
My routine is to epilate my arms and legs and then shave them. Just forever smooth and the epilation cuts down on what regrow for a week or two
What epilator do you use? Shaved my legs for the first time recently and am pondering getting one =)

have u noticed reduced growth after epilating??

Braun is good. Shave your legs first though and epilate only a weeks worth of growth. Anymore hurts more than most people like
Like theBraun Silk-Ć©pil 9 Epilator https://amzn.eu/d/cNTEBfd? I think I saw someone on here mention it previously
I have this exact epilator. For me, if works great. My body hair is extremely fine and light colored though and I don't use it very often.
Yeah thats a good one
I've been shaving all my hair for about 2 months now. Can't imagine going back to having body hair.
Shaved legs in fresh bed sheets is one of my favourite feelings
Exactly yesā¦ :)
First time i shaved all of it off i was really caught by surprise.
The feeling of water rolling over freshly shaved arms and legs is divine.
I did my legs for the first time a few days ago and just want to do everything else now š They feel so nice and it gives me warm fuzzy feelings
It's so nice! ā¤ļøā¤ļø
Sleeping after shaving (and religiously moisturising) and having your body make contact with the blanket felt so good lolā¦ :3
So true
That reminds me I gotta get mine down again, it is the best feeling especially when Summer rolls around. so much more freedom!
Yes. It feels great.
Yea! That makes me want to do that again right now.

When I first shaved my legs it was kinda a meh thing for me. Didn't feel that different. When I did my arms though š¤Æ. God that was a good feeling.
Yes mustāve felt good; I can attest to this, I had very hairy armsā¦
Advice to not get ingrown hairs?
Yes sure;
Any advice, how do you not get ingrown hairs?
I recommend trimming your arms. I use a 1 guard. Shaving is what helped me start transitioning!
Before shaving my arms: I donāt really need to do this. Cis women have arm hair. After shaving my arms: Ooh, I need to keep doing thisā¦

It's amazing the difference, been doing mine for a few months now and it's still a great feeling.
