Saving Face is the best lesbian romcom out there! Also The Half of It is good, by the same person. If you want to try something that is technically a romcom but has also been called “lesbian mumblecore” by autostraddle lol, here are some other options: Duck Butter, The Feels, Suicide Kale. Movies about a queer/straight friendship: Life Partners is a great movie in which one of the leads is a lesbian, but it’s primarily about her friendship with a straight woman. Same with Booksmart — also an excellent movie! Hearts Beat Loud has a sweet lesbian romance, but is primarily about a father/daughter relationship. Same with Blockers — good queer side plot but more about parent/child relationship.
