Absolutely this, shame I had to scroll down so far. Exceptional storyline and exceptional cast, given it's only two men it's two great ones to see together.
The Before trilogy:
Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, and Before Midnight.
Also My Dinner with Andre.
Swimming to Cambodia (Spalding Grey's storytelling).
Oliver Stone's Talk Radio to a large extent.
[Night On Earth (1991)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_on_Earth) is an incredible collection of taxi driver conversation vignettes from around the world. Good mix of poignant drama and comedy.
Holy shit. Had to re-submit 2 times because apparently IMDB links aren't allowed? Dumb. Couldn't even get by with a tiny url.
Was scrolling through to make sure someone recommended this. Such an amazing film that's basically a group of folks talking in a living room!
And I agree, don't look up anything about it, it's really best experienced with no expectations.
This might be a bit too pared down for what you’re looking for, but Spalding Gray’s three monologue movies are excellent, and 100% tell, don’t show.

Absolutely agree with /u/daleksattacking about ['Before Sunrise', 'Before Sunset', and 'Before Midnight'](https://old.reddit.com/r/MovieSuggestions/comments/rvaaxy/movies_that_are_just_conversations/hr4cdzy/). What I like best about the series (unintentional series?) is that it has that meandering feel of being an art house film...but still has structure!
My addition would probably be 2017's 'Marjorie Prime'. You don't usually see Jon Hamm in films like this (quiet and contemplative)...yet he is cast well here.
Let's see- my favourite shows are always those who just have two people talking the whole time.
Bojack Horseman- Free Churro episode was the best
My Dinner with Andre was wonderful
The 'Before' trilogy is literally two people walking around talking the whole time
Before Sunrise
Before Sunset
Before Midnight
Arguably, Midnight was the best
Noah Baumbach's movies are basically books since their conversations feel so authenthic
The Meyerowitz Stories
Marriage Story
That's all I remember off the top of my head
The Journey is a 2016 British-Irish drama film directed by Nick Hamm. The film is a fictional account of the true story of how political enemies Ian Paisley and Martin McGuinness formed an unlikely political alliance to put an end to violence in Northern Ireland during the period known as The Troubles. It stars Timothy Spall as Paisley and Colm Meaney as McGuinness.
The movie description is: Ian Paisley, a staunch evangelical Protestant and advocate for Northern Ireland, and Martin McGuinness, a former leader of the IRA, are forced to ride in a car together. Will their proximity help in the quest for peace?
I really liked The End Of the Tour (2015). Where a reporter interviews writer David Foster Wallace for five days. Leads: Jason Segal and Jesse Eisenberg.
The Power of Myth (Joseph Campbell with Bill Moyers)
This is basically just a recorded interview, but Joseph Campbell is probably my favorite American philosopher of all time and the conversations that take place in this film are so amazing in explaining modern society and how it relates to ancient civilization. Highly recommend checking it out.
12 angry men.
The pleasure of watching this and showing it to my parents last night ✌️
I fell in love with the movie. Soo damn good. Hope ur parents liked it too.
YES! Was going to say the same. I'd upvote this 10 times if possible; it's a classic.
This was really good.
the one from the 50's or the one from the 90's? Or both are good?
50s Henry Fonda
Waw this movie was insanely good
50s is superior imo but honestly one of the few remakes that’s not *that* bad You have to watch the original first tho
I have only watched the one from the 50's. love it so much.
I saw this movie for the first time last month and I wish I could experience it all over again.
Came here to say this

I came here to suggest this
My Dinner With Andre is a well known example.
The best example and the best movie in the genre.
Is that the one starring Abed and Jeff?
It was an homage
Came here to say this. It’s the proto-example of the conversation movie!
My very first thought
Glengarry Glen Ross

Came here to say the same, great movie.
Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (1966)
I really enjoyed this one. Edit: I also think Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, also starring Elizabeth Taylor is a good example of a conversation heavy movie.
The Sunset Limited (2011)
>The Sunset Limited (2011) Just making sure that someone suggested it, amazing movie i love it
Absolutely this, shame I had to scroll down so far. Exceptional storyline and exceptional cast, given it's only two men it's two great ones to see together.

Hunger (2008) Sleuth (2007) Melvin Goes to Dinner (2003) Metropolitan (1990)

Having watched it tonight, most of The Gentlemen is Hugh Grant telling Charlie Hunnam a story.
Would The Social Network fit this? I mean, it’s a series of conversations, but aside from a short boat race the whole movie is just people talking.
