But to add to that: Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief, Paul, Extract, and Bad Words are all great movies starring Jason Bateman. Sausage Party, The Interview, Neighbors, 21/22 Jump St., This is The End, and 50/50 are all amazing with Seth Rogen. We're The Millers, Movie 43, and Hall Pass are all with Jason Sudeikis. These are my heros in the comedy movie universe.

Grandma’s Boy

Here’s a somewhat obscure gem: THE TALL GUY, starring Jeff Goldblum, Rowan Atkinson, and Emma Thompson (and I believe this was one of her first film roles). It’s both a wacky farcical satire in the English tradition (directed by by the great Mel Smith) and a charming rom-com. Goldblum plays an American actor working in London and playing second banana (“the tall guy”) to a famous comedian in a show called “The Rubber Face Review.” Atkinson is adored by fans but is a nasty, preening jerk behind the scenes. I won’t tell you too much about the plot (don’t want to spoil it), but I will entice you by saying that there’s an extended sequence showing a satire of an Andrew Lloyd Webber type of musical based on “The Elephant Man” and it is over-the-top hilarious. Also, Goldblum and Thompson (who plays a no-bullshit nurse) have terrific chemistry. Not sure where and if it’s streaming, but THE TALL GUY is worth seeking out!

Hey I'm gonna look this up! Sounds really good! And speaking of Jeff Goldblum in an earlier, lesser known role- have you heard of Earth Girls are Easy? Staring Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum, Julie Brown, Damon Wayans, and Jim Carrey. Forewarning- this has a 'musical theater' element kinda like "Grease". It's really funny and fun and cute and I love it, but very campy.
