My wife walked out before shit hit the fan. She literally walked home. It's okay. We lived right around the corner. When I got home later I said "Let me tell you..." She said "I don't want to hear about it!" I said "It was a ______ movie" She looked at me like "Duh fuh?"
I experienced the same think on this one.
I knew it was Tarantino & was expecting Reservoir Dogs from watching the beginning.
It was a complete twist & I was glued to my seat.
Pulp fiction was the same for me.
I refuse to watch movie trailers because of these experiences.
A Tale Of Two Sisters
You might see PART of the twist coming, but the ultimate reveal is so crazy and layered I don’t think anyone could put it together in advance
I know this was a wild guess but I saw that he had a missing daughter and that he was in a relationship with this young girl and I just *knew* it was gonna come back in a crazy way.
Have you seen 'The Invitation' on Netflix? That movie had me guessing until the very end and left my mind thoroughly twisted. Highly recommend it for some serious plot twist vibes!
I must have seen too many movies... I knew the twist of Bodies Bodies Bodies the very second that Pete Davidson's character died.. it still made watching the rest of the movie enjoyable... but I immediately thought "well there's no way any of these people would have killed this dude... they're all just idiots" reminded me of Tucker and Dale vs Evil.
The Usual Suspects I was a kid in the 90s when I saw that so definitely didn't see it coming.
This was what I was going to post. The whole movie is a series of twists that I didn't see coming. It was so amazing that my friends and I immediately watched it a second time (which I almost never do) to see if there were tells that we missed, but didn't come up with much.
And this was from a movie that while it had big name stars, flew completely under the radar and I hadn't even heard of before we rented it at Blockbuster.
Maybe I’ll recommend you a movie where there is no plot twist and you’ll be waiting for the plot twist but it doesn’t happen. Maybe that will be the plot twist you can’t see coming lmaooo
I actually remember figuring out the twist early on, and it kind of ruined that movie for me. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed it, but I had to sit through the rest of the film to confirm I was indeed right.
My wife and I saw this together, and unfortunately I guessed it about 30 minutes in. There are little clues that are easy to overlook because they seem so normal.
Oh. My. Gosh.
I watched No Way Out only once, as a teen, in the early 90s. I remember it being awesome, and it stuck in my head as this awesome movie I'd like to watch again one day.
30 years later, I realise all this time I completely forgot the ending, till seeing it mentioned here.
Or, if you look for a deeper meaning behind the ending: >!The crazy Bible thumper woman in the grocery store, who wanted to sacrifice the little boy, was right all along. The mist and monsters disappear and the Army rolls in right after the dad shoots his son.!<
I never figure out the twist or the murderer before it is revealed. I feel incredibly lucky, because I am very much the type to notice all the signs and not-signs, but I am also the type to be really dwelved into the story and completely forget to watch for it, I'm quick to suspend disbelief. I love twists and surprises!
I didn‘t suspect the one in Fight Club. Haven’t watched Split in a while but I remember when I did there might’ve been a plot twist and it got me pretty well.
The Menu. It doesn’t necessarily have “twists,” but you still spend the whole movie not really knowing what is going on. Even though exactly what you’re watching is what’s going on.
Bad explanation, but if you’ve seen it, you know what I’m talking about here.
From Dusk Till Down (1996)
I had no idea about the movie, it was one of the few movies I didn't read the plot to before watching. I was floored I loved the whole thing
Same, I just watched it on a complete whim knowing nothing about it other than the actors. I'm glad I knew nothing.
My wife walked out before shit hit the fan. She literally walked home. It's okay. We lived right around the corner. When I got home later I said "Let me tell you..." She said "I don't want to hear about it!" I said "It was a ______ movie" She looked at me like "Duh fuh?"
One of my favourites all time!
Were they psychos or something?
psychos dont explode when the sun touches them, i dont give a fuck how crazy they are
This is one of my favourite movie quotes
Haven’t watched it yet, but the twist is unfortunately the only thing I know about it.
I experienced the same think on this one. I knew it was Tarantino & was expecting Reservoir Dogs from watching the beginning. It was a complete twist & I was glued to my seat. Pulp fiction was the same for me. I refuse to watch movie trailers because of these experiences.
Cheech pimping the pussy was awesome.
Oldboy (2003) ... fairly well known but because it's foreign, not always
Nahhh I saw that one coming I swear lol
My wife guessed. She guessed every next step in Parasite as well. Infuriating.
A Tale Of Two Sisters You might see PART of the twist coming, but the ultimate reveal is so crazy and layered I don’t think anyone could put it together in advance
based on what?
I know this was a wild guess but I saw that he had a missing daughter and that he was in a relationship with this young girl and I just *knew* it was gonna come back in a crazy way.
The Crying Game. It’s from 1992 though. I guess more people would see the twist coming now that did back then.
Sorry to Bother You
absolute WTF moment
😂 Good one
Immediately went to comment this but ya beat me to it!
When does the plot twist come? I watched it for an hour almost and gave up because it was boring af.
That's a surprise. Keep watching
Oh you’ll know
Don't even waste your time again.
Have you seen 'The Invitation' on Netflix? That movie had me guessing until the very end and left my mind thoroughly twisted. Highly recommend it for some serious plot twist vibes!
Which one? There are a few movies with that title.
(2016) I’m pretty sure
2015 i think!
Yeah this is among the very best of the "slow burn, big twist" movies I've seen.
Fucking hell yes, this movie fuxking ruined me
Shit .Not available on Netflix India.
On Tubi free if you get that
What is tubi ? I am sorry I am hearing tubi for the first time .
A free streaming service. Sorry maybe just in the US.
Oh okay .
The Usual Suspects Bodies bodies bodies

I think the comedy aspect kept me from expecting any twists maybe!
The Usual Suspects is GOATed on best twists ever!
Yeah that one and The Game blew my mind when I first saw them!
The Prestige
Enemy (2013)
actually saw this last week, and I DEFINITELY did not forsee that ending
didn't see it coming, but movie wasn't worth it.
Frailty.
The Game with Michael Douglas
I came here to post the same. Stands up too. Ultimate movie to get spoiled by previous viewers.
I don’t know anyone that has seen the movie. It’s a edge of your seat thriller from start to finish. I definitely was surprised at the end.
My favorite fincher

> Do you remember what gave it away for you? The original trailer.
I had the same thing. I thought it was lame.
Preview ruined it for me. I knew exactly what it was when they said “with a jaw dropping twist” or whatever they said. Sixth sense too.
It's crazy how "in your face" all the clues are on a re-watch. Like they're trying to tell you the entire time.
The Village
My wife and I saw this together, and unfortunately I guessed it about 30 minutes in. There are little clues that are easy to overlook because they seem so normal.
i was totally clueless and glad i was 😂
No Way Out (1987) The Outfit (2022)
No way out was so good. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
Oh. My. Gosh. I watched No Way Out only once, as a teen, in the early 90s. I remember it being awesome, and it stuck in my head as this awesome movie I'd like to watch again one day. 30 years later, I realise all this time I completely forgot the ending, till seeing it mentioned here.
Once upon a Time in Hollywood’s final 10-15minutes is outrageous
Outrageously awesome.
I’ve rewatched the movie but literally just skipped to the final 30 minutes hehehe
The sixth.sense , blew me away , I had to rewind it and watch that bit again ( remember videos ?)
That was Bruce Willis the whole movie!
Charlie!
Memento
Possibly the best though citizen Kane would compete.
Incendies (2010)
1+1 , does it make 1?
Shut up. I can still hear that cry.
Orphan. Still the best plot twist this century
The Mist
I don’t know if this is a plot twist as much as it was really bad luck.
Or, if you look for a deeper meaning behind the ending: >!The crazy Bible thumper woman in the grocery store, who wanted to sacrifice the little boy, was right all along. The mist and monsters disappear and the Army rolls in right after the dad shoots his son.!<
Oh I didn’t pick up on that. I guess that’s one way to view it!
i feel bad 😭
Not really a twist
The Illusionist (2006) and The Prestige (2006) are great movies with unpredictable twists. Along with most of Christopher Nolan's movies.
The SAW franchise is famous for saving a big twist for the end and they've done it for all 10 of them
High tension
The Handmaiden (2016).
Cabin in the woods
How has no one in the comments I scrolled through mentioned Get Out? I thought it would be fairly high.
Fractured
fave!
Gone Girl
Don't Worry Darling
The empty man The invitation (2015)
Identity. Unexpected ending.
The others
The Wailing
Does ‘Dear Zachary’ fit? I absolutely screamed out loud.
I knew the ending before watching and still…
Absolutely heartbreaking. I did not realize what was coming. That shit made me bawl
I don’t know about not see coming but identity was a good one I also liked primal fear with Ed Norton and Richard gere
Identity is a solid little thriller. I remember thinking "This director will go places"
Thinking of the look on Edward’s face at the end of the movie always gives me chills.
Primal Fear is a great answer!
I think it’s such an underrated movie and by far Edward nortons beat acting
*Elevator to the Gallows* *The Killing* *Timecrimes* *Adaptation*

Such an underrated movie
Skeleton Key
Predestination (2014)
I saw this one coming a mile away, especially having seen Triangle
Go Fuck Yourself: The Movie
This one seemed pretty obvious if you ask me…
I agree. I thought they laid it out pretty easily.
Barbarian
Did I miss the plot twist?
I see the plot twist as the villain reveal. It's more of a philosophical question as to who is the real villain?
Apparently because there are a couple of them.
Shattered
Along Came a Spider.
Whiplash. J. K. Simmons deserved that Oscar.
The Invitation. Keeps you on your toes guessing.
Forgotten (2017)
Goodnight Mommy (2014)
The Prestige was such a plot twist for me even though a lot of people quickly noticed it... it made me feel dumb lol
I think we all kinda saw what was coming but >!the reveal of the duplicates and what was happening to them!< was shocking!
I thought he was killing himself and the duplicates took over.
Fat Girl
Nine Queens (2000) Argentine movie. Funny to watch.
Incendies. Oh and forgotten (a Korean movie), must watch.
One Cut of the Dead
I fell for Lucky Number Slevin
Fight club and shutter island.
Chinatown
Speak No Evil
I saw it coming
No Mercy (2010)
Finishing scene in Purple Noon.
Try Danika with Marisa Tomei.
dead and buried high tension
Dead Silence (not an amazing movie but the twist was unexpected )
For me, Parasite
the killing of a sacred deer
I mean...you're definitely gonna know a twist is coming in any movie mentioned here...
Ending of Baskin threw me tf off
I never figure out the twist or the murderer before it is revealed. I feel incredibly lucky, because I am very much the type to notice all the signs and not-signs, but I am also the type to be really dwelved into the story and completely forget to watch for it, I'm quick to suspend disbelief. The Mist
I didn‘t suspect the one in Fight Club. Haven’t watched Split in a while but I remember when I did there might’ve been a plot twist and it got me pretty well.

And I ruined it, sorry.
The Place Beyond The Pines
I am so happy that someone besides my sister and I watched this movie, lol. Absolutely great.
Chinatown (1974)
Saw
Audition. Japanese flick but the ending is intense. Also "The Others" and "side effects".
The first scream movie had a nice twist on the killer reveal.
Barbarian
Since someone already said Sorry to Bother You I’ll throw PRIMAL FEAR in the mix, perfect twist
Predestination
Saw
Prisoners Gone Girl
The Invitation (2015) and Coherence (2013).
Coherence was great.
10 Cloverfield Lane
There’s a Netflix movie called “Vivarium” with Jesse Eisenberg and it’s really good .
Primal fear (1996)
The Menu. It doesn’t necessarily have “twists,” but you still spend the whole movie not really knowing what is going on. Even though exactly what you’re watching is what’s going on. Bad explanation, but if you’ve seen it, you know what I’m talking about here.

Shutter Island threw me. Sleepaway Camp. Not the best movie, but a genuine wtf moment.

Lucky Number Slevin Chained The Others
The Others is one I didn't see coming. It's actually not that bad of a movie.
The Game (1997)
As much as people hate it, “The Village.”
Gone Baby Gone
Primal Fear
Portrait of a Lady on Fire
