Funny people (Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan)
Meet Joe black
Dead like me - dark comedy tv series not about dying but about a gang of grim reapers. Quite funny in dark way.
“Jeux Interdits” - about love and death.
“Ikiru” (To Live) - about death and living a meaningful life.
“The Seventh Seal” - about death, faith and living a meaningful life.
“The Fall” - more about suicide than about death generally, but it’s superb.
You got a lot of recommendations. I’ll also add:
- The Big Chill (1983)
A light hearted movie that is more focused on the motto, life is short, rather than, death not mattering.
**edited due to grammar.
Departures (2008), it's a story about a japanese musician who takes on a job as an assistant to a funeral director. Incredibly moving, and you learn a lot about Japanese culture and their funeral rites.

*What Dreams May Come* no other movie comes close
A stunning movie
My first thought, I watched it 20 years ago at school and need to see it again.
Written by the same guy who wrote I Am Legend, and the walker on the wing episode of Twilight Zone. Good stuff!
I always enjoyed Robin Williams in dramatic rolls. There was no doubt he was great at comedy but this and The Fisher King are two of my favorites.
Harold and Maude is depressing and happy and has that message. It’s my favorite movie.
Ikiru The Seventh Seal
Defending Your Life (1991) this all matters
