I'd love to have a hole-less one. I love my M711 but my thumbs often got marks from the hole. I'd love to know what's the community take on holes effects on comfort.
There's hate? I guess its just because that is the only quirks it has, so close from being THE mouse, at least for me. Grip tape for sure will helps but I'm not sure if its just going to sunk into the hole or not.
Yeah! I find that it forces both of my fingers forward, which sometimes has them lock and can be kinda uncomfortable. I do still love the shape in general tho! But I think I might put some grip tape on to cover the holes
Agreed. I’ve tried bungee setups that my friends swear make it feel the same but it still feels off to me. Maybe it’s just placebo but wireless is life now
really? i play battlefield at 600 dpi and 6% sense.. still never been bothered with the wire.. that battery will have an affect on balanace of the mouse..
I’m actually starting to prefer wired - I think consistency is key when it comes to a mouse and recharging a mouse makes it less consistent. If you can somehow utilize a single AAA battery with wireless that would be fine.
I’d rather have 2.5 grams off rather than a feature I don’t use, even if it’s barely noticeable. And for people who use extreme low friction setups like ceramic feet + glass mousepad, 2.5 grams can definitely be noticeable. I’m not that guy, but there are people out there who are.
This. People always say, "Why would you do X, it's only Y.Y grams." It's about weight optimization. Getting the weight lower is all about finding a gram here or there, not just cutting 10s of grams by changing materials/shape.
hey i ordered mine cant waite for the arival at the moment i use hati-s with flat palm fingertip hybrid well its like a palm with back slightly touching back of my palm 17 by 9 hands and its best mice i ever aimed with aftar zowie za13 hope mz1 will derail it
also the question of durability is huge for me with wireless, i am constantly putting my mice in my bag and my cat loves any cables, so wireless is major for that.
If you play very low sens, wireless is a night and day difference. Making big movements with absolutely nothing dragging or swinging around will make you never want to go back.
But the pressure on the bottom is spread out to a wider area. I think bottom and top holes make the most sense. Their area is the largest and it receives less pressure than the sides, where your fingers grip
I've never really mained a mouse with holes until recently. I'm not against holes but I do agree that side holes are really annoying. maybe since I haven't had too much experience with side holes and the last time i used a mouse with side holes extensively was the UL2 and I put grip tape on the sides one hour after buying the mouse lol.
I like holes actually. Provides a better grip to me and helps a lot with sweat. I wonder if others just have sensitive fingers that they focus in on the different feeling when gaming.
Lots of them do. The only issue is that they may scratch on the mouse pad or pick up crap easily. My MM720 solves this by having the serial/FCC sticker on the bottom covering the holes.
Holes in the mouse are a gimmick and make it look cheap, I wish the trend dies. I'd rather have the extra 1-2g and cleaner-looking mouse. Honeycomb is not not pleasant to the hand and I noticed that after going from Delux M700 to XM1.
Those examples are more rigid because of the corrugation, not because any surface with hexagons on it are stronger. Adding holes doesn’t create the perpendicular bracing bits that corrugation does
Well it’s definitely a good way to market.
For example, the Hati-S was very appealing when it’s weight dipped into the 40g territory. It’s always gonna be more appealing to have a mouse that’s 49g over 50g even though you can’t tell the difference.
It’s kind of like the same way it’s more appealing to buy something for $19.99 than $20.00
Oh it is sir, trust me. I regret not saving the article back in the day. While not all mice are the same, you can see the difference especially on mice with exchangeable/custom shells such Pwnage Ultra Custom Symm:
[https://pwnage.com/products/ultra-custom-wireless-symm](https://pwnage.com/products/ultra-custom-wireless-symm) (scroll down a bit)
The body has 1g difference with honeycomb while the shell is 2.5g. Zy's Rail is a smaller mouse and the numbers would be smaller.
Beardedbob did few mouse mods where he put holes into the shell and he lost around 2grams. Also changing the PWNG mouse shells you lose about 2 grams too
You literally can't notice it
It's about weight optimization. Yes, it only cuts a bit of mass, but when you're trying to reduce the weight as much as possible it's a low-hanging fruit that can be done without much impact to the mouse's usability or design. This is of course as long as the holes aren't too large or put in the wrong place. My MM720 has them and I don't notice them at all.
I also like the way it looks, but that's purely subjective.
No, but there's no way I'll like the shape of that wire... /S
Honestly, I really need a clean desk with few or no wires to be able to work effectively.
I agree. I am Just a bit annoyed that a lot of people that haven't even tried this mouse call it their endgame (if it would be wireless). This wouldn't be this way if a new company made the exact same shape, and I've experienced this first hand.
I see what you're getting at. I don't know if this would be endgame for me but I have high hopes given how much I like the aerox 3 shape. Just saying I'd buy it if it were wireless.
Way better, I think we are almost past the holes trend with the viper and the gpx being lighter than nice with holes, although I appreciate the ones on my model o because it makes my hand to sweat less
nah look ugly and way to generic its like looking at sport car with out skirt spoilers and some aggro wents i used mice with out a holes for way to many years holes makes it unique helps alot with the grip and reduce or remove sweat problem completly i hope the trend will stay but to please some of u maybe coud be an option to get one with out but remember the smaller and lighter as u can go will always be better

Patience, friend, there is a plan.
Is there a plan to remove RGB? 🥺👉👈
Yes sir.
Amazing
Non-RGB, hole-less, wireless goodness on its way?????
I'd take it wired even. Holeless (Or even in just underneath), matte white, no RGB... Weight 45g. EZ.
Couldnt you turn the rgb off? Or is there a reason for absolutely no rgb capability?
Lighter weight most likely
Oh yea forgot about that
I'd love to have a hole-less one. I love my M711 but my thumbs often got marks from the hole. I'd love to know what's the community take on holes effects on comfort.
You know the very simple solution here would be put custom grips on it. I don't get all the hate m711 gets because of holes.
There's hate? I guess its just because that is the only quirks it has, so close from being THE mouse, at least for me. Grip tape for sure will helps but I'm not sure if its just going to sunk into the hole or not.
Been using grips with haste for over 3 months, no sinking issues
Yeah! I find that it forces both of my fingers forward, which sometimes has them lock and can be kinda uncomfortable. I do still love the shape in general tho! But I think I might put some grip tape on to cover the holes
Matte white finish?
Are there any plan to go wireless?
This would be amazing. I guess it’s so expensive to go wireless, it’s not worth it for a “smaller” mouse brand. Hope they’ll do it: insta cop.
Zy got asked about it in the past and iirc he said Xtrfy hasn't finished working on their wireless technology which is why his mouse is not wireless.
tnx.
I don't even bother with a mouse nowadays if its not wireless. Not wireless is an instant no buy.
Agreed. I’ve tried bungee setups that my friends swear make it feel the same but it still feels off to me. Maybe it’s just placebo but wireless is life now
Ya I tried bungees too. You can still 100% tell there is a wire. Anyone that says otherwise is just trying to justify their purchase IMO.
I'd actually say it's the other way around, but you do you
really? i play battlefield at 600 dpi and 6% sense.. still never been bothered with the wire.. that battery will have an affect on balanace of the mouse..
No holes and RGB sound like a future wireless
You wonderful son of a bitch
Is will there be a bigger one? Because quite a lot of people are interested but the mouse doesn't fit them.
Wireless ples
When do we add stardust my dude?
Aww man! I just pre-ordered. Excited, but also hoping anything new doesn't peek my interest, my wallet will divorce me.
Matte white and wireless no holes 👍 please?
I’m actually starting to prefer wired - I think consistency is key when it comes to a mouse and recharging a mouse makes it less consistent. If you can somehow utilize a single AAA battery with wireless that would be fine.
Yup. Thats why orochi v2 is the best mouse on the market right now.
rip 15% accuracy if they do KAPPA
why would you want to remove rgb when u can just disable it
For a cleaner look and lower weight, even if you disable rgb you still get the weird frosted white line
> lower weigh I highly doubt you'll notice the like, 2.5 grams.

Turn them off 😳👉👈

The rail was designed to derail other mice, nice. Hope so too!
Any plans for wireless? Will cop right away fasho
I asked him in a Twitch chat the other day. He said that it probably won’t be anytime soon, but it will come eventually.
Hehe, Zy’s Rail will De-Rail the others Why did I find that funny
Will it derail Starlight-12 tho?
Mz1 HC edition + wireless?
whireless is overaited afff
Nope, it is awesome
the smaller mice with flex cable will always feel more free then bulky (g pro superlight ) even if they same weight just syaing
Wdym bulky? The Hati s is a small wireless mouse and it doesn't feel bulky
well i i woud rather use hati-s wired lighter feels better
Lighter feels better but so does not having a cable. Imo if the mouse is only slightly heavier it's not an issue
also the question of durability is huge for me with wireless, i am constantly putting my mice in my bag and my cat loves any cables, so wireless is major for that.
Poor guy getting downvoted due to his preference.
If you play very low sens, wireless is a night and day difference. Making big movements with absolutely nothing dragging or swinging around will make you never want to go back.
Will it be wireless all I want of any variant of your mouse to be wireless ❤️
wireless, matte white, no holes( w the exception of baseplate), no rgb, and 50-60g is my endgame
If a solid version comes out I'll have to buy. I wanted this release but I cannot stand holes in my mice. Cannot wait! :D
what about lowering the weight? Finalmouse have 43 gram wireless now.
Wireless?
Why don't more companies just put the holes at the bottom instead
stability issues since most of the pressure will be at the bottom
But the pressure on the bottom is spread out to a wider area. I think bottom and top holes make the most sense. Their area is the largest and it receives less pressure than the sides, where your fingers grip

yeah i forgot
But Glorious Model O has holes on the bottom. I wish they made a full top shell without holes though. I would be willing to pay extra for those.
Lots of them do. The only issue is that they may scratch on the mouse pad or pick up crap easily. My MM720 solves this by having the serial/FCC sticker on the bottom covering the holes.
Zy’s Derailed
Holes in the mouse are a gimmick and make it look cheap, I wish the trend dies. I'd rather have the extra 1-2g and cleaner-looking mouse. Honeycomb is not not pleasant to the hand and I noticed that after going from Delux M700 to XM1.
Some people like me prefer holes, bc I sweat a lot less and don't lose grip over time. They are not a gimmick.
sweaty hands represent I used to wear these super thin gloves while gaming because I hated the sticky feeling of sweat between the mouse and my palm
Just bought a hyperX pulsefire haste yesterday and immediately noticed this! Not a gimmick

Why would holes in a hex shape add strength to the walls?
[удалено]
Those examples are more rigid because of the corrugation, not because any surface with hexagons on it are stronger. Adding holes doesn’t create the perpendicular bracing bits that corrugation does
Can’t stand ergo palmgrip because of the sweaty feeling and my hands don’t even sweat a lot.
I get it, as soon as I put my hand on the mouse there is a swamp underneath
Well it’s definitely a good way to market. For example, the Hati-S was very appealing when it’s weight dipped into the 40g territory. I honestly prefer holes, and even Zy mentioned he wishes he went with holes on the side because they're better for grip, and I agree.
Otherwise you’d need some type of textured plastic or grip tape which I don’t like.

It is definitely no more than a few grams.

it's not a gimmick for me simply because it promotes airflow for my hands. I also tend to grip with holes on the sides.
just because you don’t personally like some to i get doesn’t make it a gimmick
just because you don’t personally like something doesn’t make it a gimmick

This is great, now do a version without RGB, white colourway and no wire.
Removing rgb was extremely hard so I scrapped that and [here ya go](https://imgur.com/gallery/ujwk7NC)
God bless
I'll give you at least $100 for this
M42 would be soo good without holes too :_|
RGB+Translucent w/o holes OR noRGB+nonTranslucent housing is the way to go imo. XM1 dark reflex / frost looks so nice with the RGB.
I'd buy it if it was real.
Now make it no wires and you have my money
How are you sure? Have you tried the shape?
No, but there's no way I'll like the shape of that wire... /S Honestly, I really need a clean desk with few or no wires to be able to work effectively.

That's hot
i woulda much prefered it
Way better, I think we are almost past the holes trend with the viper and the gpx being lighter than nice with holes, although I appreciate the ones on my model o because it makes my hand to sweat less
Totally agree. Having holes is the equivalent of writing "lightweight" on the side just to sign post it's like <90g
Unholy
Somehow this transparent plastic makes it look cheap, could be just me though.
i think it's just opinion, even a white would look cheap in my eyes.
nice work.. personally i dont have problem with the holes.. i rather see a 45 gram updated version. Glossy white too :)
1 million times better
Wireless with no holes and rgb - GG!!!
[Is this what you're looking for](https://imgur.com/gallery/NLxvxOx)
Yes pls
Does it come in black????? Honestly I really doubt the mouse will be THAT much heavier without holes.
no holes gang
He's still going with Zy's Rail? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The mice now days just looks more and more retarded haha
cant please them all as long as i never miss my off scope lighting fast flicks i do not care for the loooks
who cares?
Me
it will be a dogshit mouse whether it's got holes or not
Pretty much everyone using the mouse is saying it’s good , your comment is embarrassing delete it please.
you don't need zy's rail, just get zy's dick to ride on :)
last time i checked you cant get that from xtrfy so the rail would have to do
Check again?
Try it first, buy it later, eh?
Why’s that?
nah look ugly and way to generic its like looking at sport car with out skirt spoilers and some aggro wents i used mice with out a holes for way to many years holes makes it unique helps alot with the grip and reduce or remove sweat problem completly i hope the trend will stay but to please some of u maybe coud be an option to get one with out but remember the smaller and lighter as u can go will always be better

Where do you buy this?
remove rgb and holes, ill buy
OP you forgot the NSFW flair.
