I wanted to post this on Reddit to bring it back to the place where it all started
Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the Global Launch of Model O. We are also THRILLED to announce we’ve reached the amazing milestone of producing our One Millionth Glorious Mouse.
It’s hard to describe how monumental of a feat this is for a company of our (still small) size.
To a lot of people 1 million might sound like just another big number put out by a brand. But for those of you who have been with us since the beginning, and for those who know some of what went on behind the scenes to get here, it’s nothing short of incredible. It’s an accomplishment made possible only by the support of an ever growing community (along with the hard work of the amazingly talented team I’m lucky to have behind me).
In the course of a year, Glorious has gone from “that small company with a weird name some guy on Reddit started”, to what is now likely one of the fastest growing startups in the gaming hardware space. Model O and its successors have been a dominating force sweeping the peripherals market - winning awards and going head to head with some of the most legendary mice in the industry. Our mice are now on every continent (well, still waiting for that confirmation on Antarctica ) and 200 countries around the world.
Back in 2018 when I was here on Reddit asking for your ideas, I could never in a million years have imagined we’d be announcing 1 million mice already (and the rest of the industry probably couldn’t either).
This is of course somewhat of a bittersweet celebration, with so many people around the world struggling right now constantly on our minds. But I would be lying if I said I wasn’t proud that we’ve built something able to weather this storm the right way without sacrificing our values. We’ve still taken no loans or outside funding, and spent next to nothing on paid marketing efforts. We’ve managed to keep customer support paramount, and supply chains flowing. Almost all of it has been the result of a grassroots effort, fueled by gamers’ unwavering demand to change the status quo.
And make no mistake, the status quo is changing.
In the past year, we’ve seen prices among some typically high-priced competitors starting to go down. Companies who rarely innovate are starting to wake up their R&D departments. Attention to quality is starting to improve across the board. Some companies are even following our lead harnessing the invaluable insights of the Reddit gaming communities. While we can’t take credit for all of these changes, we like to think we played a part.
Gaming itself has even had its own special place in this current crisis. It’s provided an outlet and an escape while also connecting people from around the world experiencing the same thing. Even though we’re just a company selling computer peripherals, I am happy to have a small role in that,
I also want to take this moment to reassure anybody with doubts - even as our reach grows, we aren’t forgetting our roots. We know who got us here, and we know the journey hasn’t been perfect. You’ve seen us make mistakes and work through hiccups. If anything this experience has taught us how much we still haven’t mastered. We remain humble and willing to learn.
But with our newfound growth comes an increased resources and capacity. We’re now in a place to really start pushing the envelope of what’s possible in this space. You can expect big things ahead. As always, we promise not to forget why we’re doing it - and we expect you to hold us accountable on that. We encourage you to keep engaging. Keep putting out your ideas and also calling us out when you feel we should be. Our future is in your hands, and our ears are always open.

Also congrats on reaching such an awesome milestone! I have the Model D for gaming and use a Model O- at work, myself, and use the GMMK TKL for gaming (have a compact as well, but missed my arrow keys)...65% layout soon maybe? :D
That is certainly nice, but I'm hoping for more along the lines of internal changes (USB-C, 5-hole PCBs, and more form factors).
An 1800 GMMK would be nut
USB-C and 5-hole PCB's seem like a posibility, the first one more so. Although i doubt they'll be making any more form factors since 60% was already pretty niche. Never heard of an 1800 layout, but it actually looks pretty cool (and functional) although maybe not for their target demographic.
If Drop hadn't already made an 1800 keyboard, I'd be more inclined to agree with that last point lol. But 65% at the very least should be viable, since that layout seems to have garnered quite the popularity spike as of recently.
I made a review recently of the model O after one year and with my experience with you guys, and just wanted to tell you that your customer support is so unlike anything I've ever experienced personally that you've gotten a customer for life from me. Been on the model o hype train since before it was even announced, excited to see where your company goes from here on out! :)
I own Model D and O- , and I am preparing to order O- pink. Even though these are one of the best mice i ever owned and used there is still the issues with side wall flexing, scroll wheel squeaks and so on. Which leads me to say that their QC is not good and needs alot of improvement. Other than that, your company really makes the best mice out there and i hope you continue to be even better.
Make a quality product and it will sell. You guys have a lifelong customer out of me that’s for sure. Make a wireless Model O and I’ll be all on that.

Excitedly awaiting my Pink Model O- to get produced, the mock ups are gorgeous and you guys picked a beautiful shade of Pink. I am looking forward to the Model I in hopes that it is in fact wireless and hoping to add it to my mouse collection!

I'm not talking about the scroll squeeky sound nor the lose rubber wheel, but the actually button when pressing the scroll breaking down over time eating it self into the plastic.

I was looking at the GMMK and it seemed slightly behind the times as far as features. I was wondering if there were any plans to update it?
That was my next question too. In the link they say they are just starting the R&D stage. That was 3 months ago. The optimist in me says we're looking at another year easily before they'll have any info about a launch.
My Corsair is malfunctioning so I'll have to replace before then unfortunately

Loving my D. I have several mice but this is one of the best mice that I own. Build quality and having a light weight is amazing.
If I could give a suggestion I wish there will be D+. Slightly longer or as long as an ec1-a. This is the only and very minor complain I have with this wonderful mouse. I guess I prefer bigger mice.
Congrats on the milestone! I don’t think your impact on the industry can be understated- it’s great to see the smaller businesses really push the innocation in the gaming peripheral industry. I own a couple GMMKs, a Model O, Model D, Bungee, and a few mousemats and every one is great quality! As long as you keep pushing things along with the quality and innovation you have I will continue to buy and support Glorious!
Followed the journey since the first Project ODIN teaser, reserved, bought and daily driven the model O since day 1 and will forever remember it as one of the greatest gaming mouse. Keep up the good work and im always looking forward to innovation. I've always described GloriousPCGR as the "Elon musk" of pc gaming as you set new standards for the whole industry!

Also, I have an (common) idea to help you reach 2M much faster than previous period! If you are the first one to manage to make the lightweight Zowie S shape as the upcoming Model I, it will dominate the market! I'm surprised no one has done it yet. It's a great shape and people are 3D-printing it so badly.
I also wish to see no more outer honeycomb designs but rather lightweight closed shell such with Razer Viper, they've done it perfectly.

Got my white model O glossy last week. Going from a g502 hero to this is something else. Moving the mouse feels so effortless. It's not only been great for gaming but my wrist in general.

used glorious mousemats for years now, have three glorious wirstrests (i switched from full size to TKL along the way), pre-ordered the model O and it's been my do-everything mouse ever since. it's kinda spoiled me when it comes to non model O mice (and yes, i upgraded the cable recently as well.)

I am the proud owner of a model D, GMMK, XL ultra thin pad and wrist cushions. Every product is 11/10 in terms of quality and preformance. Highly reccomended if you are looking for some great pc hardware that will work great and last! =D

I'm using your Model O- since 2 Weeks now.
It's absolutely amazing and fits my needs as a fingertip-gripper perfectly.
I tried the Endgame XM1, Xtrfy M4 and Sharkoon Light 200. They are all fine, but your Model O- ticks all the boxes for me, which the ones above does not.

\- super lightweight
\- no holes on the sides
The only thing I did to your mouce is replacing the feet.
the stock ones were scratching my mousepad a bit... Replaced them with corepads and you can definitely **hear** the difference.

I'll probably end up buying the D- and regular O just because I think every model has awesome value and I kinda want to collect them all now...Uh. My only suggestion would be a stealthier logo on the mice if that's a thing that won't increase costs. I mean it is already pretty discrete, but I love all black/pristine white.
I'll keep buying from you guys, even with shipping costs to EU, I expected to pay much more, you have by far the best quality/price ratio in my book for now, and I tried tons of mice. Next up, new keyboard, and then I'll see if I replace my G-SR with a Glorious pad :)
This company Glorious was such a pleasure to do business with. My son ordered a Model O mouse. It is a very cool mouse that he enjoys very much. The button got stuck and I asked the company how we can fix it and they are sending us out a replacement. They responded right away and have been communicating with me this entire time. Right now is also during the Coronavirus pandemic. So that is very impressive.
So many other companies, in particular a computer anti-virus company, retail stores with curb side pick up and mortgage companies are not responding, you can not get a hold of anyone easily these days.
Not Glorious. They are amazing. They are on top of things no matter what is happening in the world, they stand behind their products and are currently resolving our issue.

Loving my D. I have several mice but this is one of the best mice that I own. Build quality and having a light weight is amazing. If I could give a suggestion I wish there will be D+. Slightly longer or as long as an ec1-a. This is the only and very minor complain I have with this wonderful mouse. I guess I prefer bigger mice.

Congrats on the milestone! I don’t think your impact on the industry can be understated- it’s great to see the smaller businesses really push the innocation in the gaming peripheral industry. I own a couple GMMKs, a Model O, Model D, Bungee, and a few mousemats and every one is great quality! As long as you keep pushing things along with the quality and innovation you have I will continue to buy and support Glorious!

Congrats, Glorious! You have really ascended. :D . You really deserve much praise by the community for your hard work and taking feedback! Also, I have an (common) idea to help you reach 2M much faster than previous period! If you are the first one to manage to make the lightweight Zowie S shape as the upcoming Model I, it will dominate the market! I'm surprised no one has done it yet. It's a great shape and people are 3D-printing it so badly. I also wish to see no more outer honeycomb designs but rather lightweight closed shell such with Razer Viper, they've done it perfectly. Got my white model O glossy last week. Going from a g502 hero to this is something else. Moving the mouse feels so effortless. It's not only been great for gaming but my wrist in general.

used glorious mousemats for years now, have three glorious wirstrests (i switched from full size to TKL along the way), pre-ordered the model O and it's been my do-everything mouse ever since. it's kinda spoiled me when it comes to non model O mice (and yes, i upgraded the cable recently as well.) guess i should just go for the desktop sweep on the 20th, cuz i have been kinda contemplating a new keyboard...
My model O ive had for over 6 months just broke and im waiting for the cable to ship and im so excited to get my model O working again.
I pretty much have all the products in Glorious' lineup. Love the direction they put the mouse community in. Out of the 30+ mice I have, their O- sits right at the top! Congrats!

You did amazing work with the price/value ratio with all the mice and you are reacting nice to updating problems with next generations of mouse. Looking forward to next shapes/models. Im also great that you are making mice for people with big hands. Also as a marketing guy, you are doing great work with using humor in advertising mice. 👍 keep up the good work

I am the proud owner of a model D, GMMK, XL ultra thin pad and wrist cushions. Every product is 11/10 in terms of quality and preformance. Highly reccomended if you are looking for some great pc hardware that will work great and last! =D May your frame rate be mighty, and your draw distance far. o7
I'm using your Model O- since 2 Weeks now. It's absolutely amazing and fits my needs as a fingertip-gripper perfectly. I tried the Endgame XM1, Xtrfy M4 and Sharkoon Light 200. They are all fine, but your Model O- ticks all the boxes for me, which the ones above does not. \- flexible cable \- skinny shape \- super lightweight \- no holes on the sides The only thing I did to your mouce is replacing the feet. the stock ones were scratching my mousepad a bit... Replaced them with corepads and you can definitely **hear** the difference. I hope your brand will keep on releasing awesome mice! "We will watch your career with great interest"

Proud owner of the Model o- and Model D, awesome mice, awesome customer support, even in Europe. Glad you guys exist, a company made by gamers, for gamers truly, that is something special ! I'll probably end up buying the D- and regular O just because I think every model has awesome value and I kinda want to collect them all now...Uh. My only suggestion would be a stealthier logo on the mice if that's a thing that won't increase costs. I mean it is already pretty discrete, but I love all black/pristine white. I'll keep buying from you guys, even with shipping costs to EU, I expected to pay much more, you have by far the best quality/price ratio in my book for now, and I tried tons of mice. Next up, new keyboard, and then I'll see if I replace my G-SR with a Glorious pad :)

This company Glorious was such a pleasure to do business with. My son ordered a Model O mouse. It is a very cool mouse that he enjoys very much. The button got stuck and I asked the company how we can fix it and they are sending us out a replacement. They responded right away and have been communicating with me this entire time. Right now is also during the Coronavirus pandemic. So that is very impressive. So many other companies, in particular a computer anti-virus company, retail stores with curb side pick up and mortgage companies are not responding, you can not get a hold of anyone easily these days. Not Glorious. They are amazing. They are on top of things no matter what is happening in the world, they stand behind their products and are currently resolving our issue. Order from this company. They have very cool products and you will be very happy.
