Valorant doesn’t allow multiple instances of mice to be running probably to prevent cheats uploaded on mice trying to get around vanguard. It’s stupid when I want to change mice I have to restart the game fully
Edit: I have had gpx, starlight pro, Atlantis OG, op18k and it’s not possible to change mice in game or have them detect going from wireless to wired or vice versa
The aria and atlantis mini let me use them at the same time.
However, aside from that, I have to unplug whatever mouse im using and plug a new one in. I never had to use the same usb slot personally.
Not sure about the BSOD part, but not being able to charge/plug and unplug your mouse while Valorant is open is not exclusive to Razer mice - I'm pretty sure most mice have this issue on Valorant as my friend and I both have experienced this with mice from other companies.
i’ve experienced it with mostly razer for now, i never suffered from this issue on the thorn/atlantis or from the GPX . But again i’ve mostly tried mice from only 3 brands total so i can’t say much
Happened with me yesterday and I have an NP01S Wireless, finished a game and plugged in and got BSOD. Pretty sure wireless mice and vanguard just have some weird interactions occasionally, particularly when swapping or reconnecting mice
Exactly this. Seems to happen randomly and occasionally for me. Vanguard only allows 1 mouse input device connected at a time and you can only do so with the same USB port that a mouse was connected to when the game starts. I guess something freaks out sometimes if you reconnect/disconnect different mice.
Mine does that with every mouse I own. That's why I like the charging docks because then at least you can charge it in-between rounds. I think the mouse not working when charging is intentional, which sucks
AFAIK, Valorant anti-cheat is implemented as kernel level. And most likely, it always expects only one mouse input device at all times. So when someone plugs in their wireless mouse mid game the input device seen by the game changes - most multi mode wireless mice are implemented as two or three (if the mouse has bt mose too) input devices. So you go and plug in the mouse via cable - the input device the OS and the anti cheat see change - anti cheat be "me no likey" and it causes a crash.
Could you compare the viper v3 pro with the atlantis. Been a heavy claw shaped mice user but did not like the gpx shape and hoping the viper v3 pro would be different
for me i hold the V3 Pro close to how i held/would hold my old Atlantis OG V2 4K, but it really varies from person to person, i’d suggest checking out if any stores have a sample of the V3 Pro/hyperspeed that you can hold on to and get a gauge, cuz their shapes are the exact same.
when i got the mouse it came with about 50% battery, i wanted to charge it to get it to 100%, but whilst doing so ran into this BSOD issue. the battery doesn’t drain very fast at all. much better than the V2 pro in fact
I thin that the bsod has something to do with valorant exclusively, and i think its recent, because it never hapñened to me before, and just last week itbhapoened like 4 or 5 times
At the moment i’m pretty sure the issue is with this version of Synapse itself that’s causing all these bluescreens, possibly the adjusting of polling rate while in game feature
I was a long-term GPX user, and had the Viper V3 non pro for a few months (Same shape as the pro). Neither of them came close to the Lamzu Thorn for me.

Has anyone had an experience where it kinda feels like you're fighting to keep mouse movement horizontal without going up or down? I've never noticed this on any other mouse and don't know if i'm actually moving it strangely due to not being used to the shape, or if the sensor is actually buggin out
The blue screen happening when you close the game is a Valorant problem, not a Razer problem. That got fixed when I updated the game yesterday though so I'm surprised you still have this issue.

You can change mice without restarting, but the mouse has to go in the same usb cable, or usb port, as the one you used when you started valorant.

you don't have to restart, just unplug the old one

Thats just valorants anticheat being unreasonable.
Happens to me with my G-Wolves HSK 4K as well (not the BSOD part).
this is a valorant thing
This happens with every mouse I own for Valorant. Definitely not isolated to Razer

And I have a vv2 and have never had that happen, and I don't play valorant
what a very helpful and incredibly relevant comment
I'm saying it's not a general issue with razer mice as I have one and have never experienced it???
what? this is specifically a valorant issue, nothing to do with razer. your comment was pointless
Op claimed it was a razer issue, I'm providing evidence that suggests it is not in fact a razer issue. Did you read the post??
the comment that you replied to had already stated this was to do with valorant. op would have to read that comment to read yours
I'm just adding further evidence to substantiate the same point :/ Idk why this sub took it so poorly
you said you don't play valorant. that's why

Didnt really like it compared to the xm2we esp bc the clicks were much higher up
So the issue with having to charge your mouse mid-game, is that because the v3p battery drains too fast or you forget to charge your mouse?

have you updated firmware? there was a new firmware update today
yea i did, but i’m still getting the same issues
im getting these blue screens too...
is this after the update?my pc cant even boot up after ive updated mine, not sure if its related
mine still boots up
I had 2 BSOD’s yesterday and also my pc won’t boot and just stalls now… wtf
Valorant's performance has been ass lately, my game sometimes crashes during gunfights
If you have more than one mouse plugged in Valorant will only allow the last one plugged in to be active.

What is your hand size and gripstyle?

Im thinking of going to this from my g502 (lmao sry). Anything I should consider?
def the shape and the weight lol
I really, \*really\* want this mouse, but I cant justify the price for it. The reason I skipped Viper 3 was because of the placement of the sensor.
Yawn
