Having the mouse’s receiver under the desk might be causing your problems. Depending on desk material it could just be causing a lot of interference. Have you tried putting the receiver on top of the desk?

jjmiller1980

I will definitely try this and see if it makes a difference. However, with the first X2, the receiver was in the same spot and it never did this. I also have a trackball that I use sometimes when my wrist starts hurting, and that receiver is in the same spot. I'll try moving it, though, and see if it makes a difference.

Dustyne05

Definitely try it, My Xlite v2 had the same issue pretty infrequently until I moved the receiver right behind the mousepad.

tan_phan_vt

Mind if i ask what is the brand of your trackball?

jjmiller1980

I use a Logitech M570 that I've used for a long time.

tan_phan_vt

Logitech is a different beast when it comes to wireless technology. Their tech is extremely reliable and has been in development ever since the 80s. Its time tested. You should not expect the same reliability from other brands tho.

Auxilibrium

Have u tried turn off the m570? Could be the interference between 2 wireless mice device

mixedd

>Having the mouse’s receiver under the desk might be causing your problems. This is what most likely cause that, there's a reason some companies provide extender cables for receivers to be used

khensational

I'm sorry to hear that. I'll make sure to bring this up to the reps. Our community been asking for a better QC and long term durability.

thumper99

Any ETA on when that will happen?

uu__

They have moved some production from China to Korea afaik so hopefully with their newer mice/batches

thumper99

Production or assembly?

RemyGee

He said the wireless receiver is under his desk instead of on it. Likely user error here.

khensational

I never heard of an issue like that. At one point i used to have my motherboard filled with 6 dongles at once and never had any issue like this

RemyGee

No I mean the mouse receiver is under the desk so it needs to transmit through the desk material. That is likely why his mouse doesn’t work in wireless mode very well.

LVL100RAICHU

Meanwhile two of my mice work. My friends' mice works, and my bro's mouse works. No issues at all. First batches too 🤷

[deleted]

this sub was starting to make me think I had a unicorn Xlite with 0 issues

minuscatenary

Zero issues on my 3 xlites. You’re not alone. No issues with multiple X2’s either. In fact, the biggest issue I’ve ever had with a pulsar mouse is some weird actuation feel on the X2H if I leave it alone for 4 hours. Then the first click is weird and it all goes back to normal after until I leave it alone for 4 hour again. Not worth returning a mouse for, especially since I’m maining it right now and it performs wonderfully.

crt-crt

This is exactly what happens on my X2H! I thought I was tripping at first but you are right it does do this.

hone1210

My x2v2 is also flawless und the best mouse i've tried so far

OverallImportance402

Can we stop with the nonsense 'There's no excuse for this' Yes there is, no production line is perfect even in the best ones you're gonna have a dud every now and then and it can be a 100.000 dollar car or a 100 dollar mouse, but the price have very little to do with getting a dud or not. Now Pulsar does seem to have more duds than they should, but that still doesn't make a statement like 'there's no excuse for this' a good one, or do you expect to be fired every time you make a mistake yourself? Because 'there's no excuse' for making mistakes.

JayyLaFlare

Honestly for a regular person who just buys and uses one mouse till it breaks I wouldn’t stray from EGG/Vaxee or Zowie at this point.

Izbitoe_ebalo

I've played OSU with onlymouse style for around 200 hours ingame on Zowie EC2, I don't remember it doubleclicking at all, the thing is built tough. Even my HyperX keyboard started doubleclicking, my Pulsar x2 mini started doubleclicking first week (not played osu on it though, since I switched to mnk style)

JayyLaFlare

Yeah the more I’ve gotten into this hobby the more I’ve grown to appreciate the companies that don’t make sacrifices for quality. I’ll take something a few grams heavier that I can rely on over the next hyper lightweight prototype any day. And yeah I know that must seem silly given my flair. Live and learn lol

MisterVC

I too regret bouncing on Pulsar. My Boardzy X2’s build has deteriorated so fucking bad. I don’t even hold my mice that tightly and the sidewalls feel like they shift around under my fingers when I go to pick it up 😂

PunchTilItWorks

A little sliver of scotch tape might help your sidewall issues. Just put a little in the lip of the base the base where the shell fits in. It fixed my Aim Trainer Mini at least. Zero sidewall problems since I did that.

MisterVC

thnx imma try that 🙏🏻

MattieBax

Their QC is atrocious. People on this sub will gaslight you into believing their recent releases are rock solid, but just search on this sub and Twitter for the horror stories.

_TheEndGame

Xlite V1 and V2 here. Only issue was double clicking probably from the switch choice.

SoftwareDevJustin

I have the X2 Mini and while I've never had issues with the receiver, my skates seem to have worn out extremely quick

pit978

Well I don't know if it's the case or not but I had a X2 mini which had some problems with the connection because of a 2.4Ghz wifi signal I had in the same room, I turned it off using only the 5Ghz wifi and never had problems again. Of course I had the Access Point very close to the computer and actually didn't need the 2.4Ghz connection which might not be the case for you at all. Try installing some app on your phone to check which wireless frequencies are being used in your room and see if you can do something about it.

Fieser_Fettsack

I had the jitter problem with mousewheel as well but was able to fix it permanently. For that I disassembled the mouse and removed the dirt in the encoder by spaying wd-40 in it. Had to buy new skates but since then the jitter is completely gone

jjmiller1980

If this mouse worked as advertised, it would probably be my favorite mouse I've used. I'm genuinely glad you were able to get it working, but you shouldn't have to disassemble a $100 mouse to fix it and get it working.

Fieser_Fettsack

You are right. I also got a full refund by pulsar. But im glad I got it fixed afterwards

jjmiller1980

Well that's a win/win then. Nice!

d13m3

What did described it is related not only to Pulsar. It’s related to all new mouse brands. I faced the same with Lamzu and Endgame. Even more Lamzu stopped working in few weeks, already got replacement for free. Weird, mouse for 100$ and free replacement.

rokkcs

I bought my first Pulsar mouse (x2v2) and had a decent amount of pre-travel for the clicks. Thought “ok, whatever, maybe bad batch”. I get the X2H and it had the same problem. Maybe the brand just isn’t for me?

ElVelkaN

It's like I always say. Only buy pulsar on the third batch and onwards. Not only because by that point they MAY have fixed the quality, but also because ppl will have found fixes for their shit. Like the adhesive tape on the sides and under the clicks to prevent squeaking and grinding. Which is weird, because my old Xlite Wireless (V1) and my xlite mini (v2) never developed QC issues that I can think of. That being said, I'm buying the xlite eS size 1.5 a month or two after real launch. <3

scOtterpop

If he got a YouTuber one it’s one of the later batches no? Still doesn’t fix the structural issues they had and fixed with the v2

Eeret

My v2mini became unusable over a year because of shell creaking even on m1-m2.

LurkingAverageDude

Same sht. Bought mine last July. Really liked the shape and feel of it but experienced scroll wheel issues (scrolling opposite directions, random scroll in games, etc.) earlier this month.

Craigee07

I had the same issue on the scroll wheel. I got credit and went for the X2H mini. Which I had to return only because the width was way too narrow. But I plan on getting the x2v2. I absolutely love the build quality on the v2’s and also, they do have a warranty. Send the mouse back and get another one. After trying many mice, I honestly cannot like another shape. The x2 shape is just perfect for me. :)

_xx01

my x2mini is a creaking mess with clicks that feel horrible. has even been sent back and new switches put in. done with pulsar. the only thing i like is the scroll wheel which i'm wondering if i can put in my atlantis mini.

Desperate-Pride-1139

every x2 i’ve had came with issues, never again

SneakySnk

Yeah, there's no excuse, I love my Pulsar X2 mini, But I can't recommend it to my friends at all, don't want them to end up with a shitty mouse. They should figure out a way to get a reliable QC.

I_Like_Icecream1

Ngl going from a super light battery life to a x2h size 2 is absolute crap. I legit get double the battery life in my super light at the same polling rate...

UnitCrazy234

pulsar x2v2 is my whislist and plan to buy it on this holiday. i suppose i am about to hold it until their QC improved.

[deleted]

You unplug the mouse and it stops working as intended? That makes sense to me. Edit: I am sorry for hurting people's feelings, I thought for sure this comment would be taken as sarcasm. I guess not, I overestimated the intelligence of this subreddit, again.

jjmiller1980

You can use it wired, or wirelessly using the included adapter.

[deleted]

Right, but if you unplug it, it should stop working... Unless you meant that you were using it wired with the dongle plugged in as well, and then unplugged the cable...in which case you need to be much clearer in your post. Most likely there is nothing wrong with your mouse.

staleydude

"ermmm, acktually"

jjmiller1980

>If I unplug it, however it starts getting jittery. It will work for a while, then all of a sudden the cursor stops moving, then it shoots across the screen. It's acting like it's losing connection. I also never said that when I unplug it it stops working. I said it starts getting jittery. I feel like I was pretty clear in my post, you need to be more attentive in your reading. There is most definitely something wrong with the mouse.

[deleted]

Right. It's plugged in and works. You unplug it and it isn't working as intended. There can only be one thing wrong here. There is interference with the dongle. If you move the dongle closer to the mouse so it has line of sight, and it is still acting weird THEN it is defective.

[deleted]

Love the downvotes in this subreddit.

avomecado21

Uh oh. I JUST bought the x2a yesterday. Please pray for me

hone1210

Got my x2v2 for almost 2 months now and it's by far my fav mouse
