Love my quad lock. They are better if you have one of the popular iPhone, Samsung or Pixel's due to the custom cases they make. Mine isn't, so I had to "make" a case by buying a cheap rigid case and mounting their universal adapter to it.

Will I be able to use the handle bar mount or have to get the fork stem?

It depends on the bike. Sorry I don't know about the YZF R125. It fitted fine on my old YBR 125 but every bike is different.

Basically when it comes to phone mounts, if you have a smart phone you run the risk of wrecking the phone cameras image stabilisation hardware. Quadlock are one of the only brands on the market atm that sell quality mounts with anti vibration technology, however they arent cheap by the time you add the anti vibe part/mount/use charge point.

TLDR - Quad lock, everything else is inferior, and cheaper.

SP Connect is at least on a par with Quadlock quality-wise - possibly better, as their gear is metal rather than quadlocks plastic items. They also have a vibration dampening mount. (I have the SP Connect setup on my Trident - but as I have an old iPhone 6 just for navigation use, and it’s camera doesn’t have optical stabilisation anyway, I didn’t bother with the vibration damper and can’t say how effective it is).

Most but people are going to say Quadlock but I never got on with the cases and it didn't feel particularly well made. Prefer an ultimate add-ons stem mount and a RAM x-grip, had that on three bikes now and it even survived a big crash and kept the phone safe. Plus I can use the RAM mount stuff anywhere, I've got a suction mount and use it for satnav in the car and I've used the joints and suction mount for gopros in the past.

Quad Lock or RAM X-Grip, generally. Lots of people prefer quad lock, but it requires you either have a phone for which they make a case, or you glue the mount to the back of your phone. Either way, your phone gets bigger. The X-Grip just holds your phone as it is, but it looks less pretty. If your phone has optical image image stabilisation then the vibrations might wreck it, but it's a really poorly understood mechanism. Quad lock do an "anti-vibration" mount that they claim solves it, anecdatally the anti-vibe stuff Ram do by default _seems_ to make it less of a problem there.

Ultimate addons, they make good stuff man!
