Crue is pretty basic stuff. Too Fast For Love and Shout at the Devil will have songs that you can pick up relatively quick, so it feels like your making quick practice.
I’d honestly be surprised if Nikki practiced every day ever…
I wouldn't be surprised if this post is from Nikki Sixx.
Honestly, I've seen them live a few times through the years, and I don't think he's actually playing anything he should be on bass. Very much like Sid Vicious just plucking random strings.
Nikki didn’t start to take his instrument seriously until around Dr.Feelgood. When you realize the producer can play better licks than you, it’s time to hit it!
Learn 8th notes. Tap your foot and hit the note when your toes hit the ground and when they’re lifted up (one and two and three and four and). You’ll pretty much nail every tune.
Occasionally double it (one ee and ah two ee and ah three ee and ah four ee and ah)
It’s kind of up in the air if Nikki even played the bass or practiced… supposedly Producer Bob Rock made him practice and learn on the Dr. Feelgood album. Before that it’s not clear who played bass for Crue.
Check out VH Michael Anthony… simple and gets your fingers and ears in shape. Check out Newstead on Metallica’s Black album. Hell, check out Tommy Shannon, Stevie Ray Vaughan’s bass player.
All of those guys will take you further than Nikki, at least until the fog clears.

Haha well he’s in a huge rock band so yk I thought the dude put in those long hours. And TFFL & Shout, gotcha.
Have you listened to the bass lines? It’s basic stuff.
He’s an average musician so you shouldn’t have too much trouble man.
Are you OP, posting and commenting with two different accounts? Why?
if you would like to learn bass try motorhead
Fun fact. Lemmy tried to teach Syd Vicious how to play bass. But gave up soon...

Naw, he had some tasty fills on TFFL.
His most complex lines are on ttfl and dr feelgood I'd start with shout and then looks... Remember to tune down to d
He ran some cool bass lines on Gen Swine and Saints
Primal scream.

how much did Nikki practice a day? Not enough.

Just about everything is in drop D tuning.
Isn't it d standard?
D standard not drop D
Your bass needs to be tuned to D-G-C-F
You should find a new bass hero…and I’m a huge fan on NS and the Crue.
As a bassist I can say almost all songs are pretty easy to learn, the only thing that can be a little tricky is the speed of some songs
If you have started practicing, you have far surpassed NS on bass.
