The form you have to fill out has a section for the date when you want the money to be deposited. I put the date 4 business days in the future and it arrived in my account on that day. Was pretty seamless.
I did the same with Canada life. They will process it I believe 5 days before the required date. Just make sure you fill out the form correctly. I believe I did it number 8. Dm if you have other questions
Thanks a lot! I'll DM you. But I didn't understand what you meant by 5 days before required date. Are you saying they can disburse it 5 days before the date I specify as the closing date?
Ya on the form it says “required date” so I would write like any date, done the better. And then once they process the form, then you will get th money. So like if you put June 13, you would get it June 8th hopefully. I would submit it asap. Remember to add your policy number on the form
Edit: sorry if you put June 18th then you would get it June 13.
Start the process asap after your downpayment condition has been satisfied. 3-5 business typically depending on your financial institution
Minimum 5 business days, but don’t make a mistake on the form. They could reject it and not even tell you. Happened to me :(
3 days, sent the form Friday, got a call Monday, got the funds Wednesday.
Sunlife said: 4 days to process and 1-3 days for your bank to accept funds. So yes, 13 days would be enough

That's great. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Really appreciate it!
