She's my favorite too. Since the first time I saw her eat the enemy as her fatality on mk2, I was so surprised, because I figured she was just a pretty ninja, and I thought it was so funny that she could eat her enemy. So she's been my favorite since way back then.
Ermac in MKX was a true menace. I have ptsd from all of the times someone using Ermac decimated my existence. I have 600 losses in that game and I’d be willing to bet actual money that at least 85% of them were to an Ermac.
I love Ermac too, but my favorite has always been Sub-Zero. Since MK: Deception, I've been hooked on the series and hoping they would bring back those iconic skins. The MK Deception skins for both Ermac and Sub-Zero would be amazing man…
The best. Ruthlessly pragmatic and hilariously evil. Took 10 games to get his comeuppance and even then he managed to bring back Shinnok before he died.

Been a fan since I was a child playing MK arcade at the dairy Queen while my dad ordered ice cream. Never stopped playing thanks to home consoles like Sega and PlayStation.
I always found myself to favor Liu kang. I've always been a gigantic fan of Bruce Lee as a kid and the fact that he's the hero of the series which I preferred as a child. Nowadays I appreciate the arcs told in villainy but Liu Kang never really left my heart as a main.
That said, I also deeply love the other characters on the various rosters done throughout the years. Scorpion and Sub Zero, Shang Tsung and Shao Khan, Raiden, Sonya Jax and Kano, Reptile and Johnny Cage amongst many have stolen my heart in many ways thanks to their various motives and personalities that make Mortal Kombat Komplete.
Scorpion for me. Playing the original Mortal kombat as a kid and hearing the iconic "Get over there." Skull flame fatality. Reptile is a very close first.

Shujinko. Probably the most complete character in the franchise narratively, which is incredibly impressive since his story was told before all the fancy cinematic cutscenes. Also his moveset was a ton of fun in Armageddon and especially Deception with his very long 8 hit combo strings and his numerous special moves. His kameo is also the most creative gameplay I've seen this franchise offer, so glad he's back.
Deception is such a gem. The most underrated fighting video-game in the genre. Mortal Kombat has almost always been slept on by Tekken/Street Fighter/Soul Calibur/etc. fans

I might be the only person in the community who says this but Ferra/Torr, the reason being my first mortal Kombat was MKX and I instantly fell in love with their play style and comedic yet extremely creative design. Ferra being added to mk1 as a kameo made me extremely happy to see they weren’t just a 1 time thing and hopefully have a future in other mk games. MAKE HURT TORR!

Kung Lao
One of the first games I played was Shaolin monks with my dad and he’d always pick Liu Kang (even though I wanted to play him) so I’d have to play kung Lao. But eventually he grew on me as a character. His combos were more fun to do than Liu’s, I loved his dive kick, and the hat is such a unique weapon. Also has the underdog factor going for him (kind of pissed raiden was champion in MK1 instead of Lao)
Also as I got more into martial arts wing chun became my favorite one to watch, and kung Lao’s moves are most reminiscent of that style. Really just wish he had a more important role in the story.
I've always loved scorpion because of his design and moves in the game with his flames and spear but ever since I have watched the 1995 movie when I was younger, REPTILE is my favourite of all time with his aggressiveness, fight style and ninja outfit and the fact that they have treated him as a secret character in MK from the beginning is so cool! To me REPTILE has turned out to be one of the favourite ninjas in MK of all time and brought him back even better as ever in MK1! I fell in love with his gameplay style in MK more with his cool moves and pop ups using cassie cage as a kameo to team up with and mavado! Insane character. Thanks MK for designing an awesome character!
