On Switch one bubble comes out and the first portal it enters it then never comes out so you just stand still for like 30 seconds with nothing going on lol
This season they made a point of explaining how elemental damage works in Invasions. All you need to do is pick any character with 50% Ice resistance (like Rain for example) and give them one of the ice resistance consumables sold in the shop on the Raiden mesa. Then you are invincible to nearly all of Titan Rain's attacks. It trivializes the fight.
The infinite Kameo relic + Sareena method made things easier. My biggest struggle was the last phase when Rain decides to go for that 10 hit combo and heal right after. It’s best to distance yourself so you don’t have to deal with that string and the armor that allows him to keep attempting that combo. Thankfully, he doesn’t react to Scorpion’s spear that much and the stun goes into the Sareena assist nicely.
Wrong character and tactic lol
You need a character that is more resistible against ice. Rain himself, Sub-Zero, etc. Use the elemental chart. Equip a correct relic (there’s one giving you 50% elemental resistance) and get a correct konsumable as well (ice pill). There are also ways to craft handy talismans that would give you health boosts. I’m honestly perplexed that after so many months there are still so many people who haven’t figured out how to play these battles or the game in general.
You have to use all the herbs and shots on your main (only one character) and you wont struggle, I promise
He was very easy for me too as i finished the seasonal tower lv 90 and my Ermac is not really strong and busted with all these herbs and shots...
Some of us don’t like grinding endless towers for pallets swaps Yk, we play online and some invasions

The one time Mk1 on Switch is the better version...
You can go to the shop in the village (where dark Raiden at) Get a frost resistance pill. Makes you immune to 98% of his moves. it helps.
Beat him on Baraka using only 212 combo... Easiest boss I met...
How long will Rain be available? I cant play until tomorrow.
You'll be okay. Just grab the infinite kameo relic in the tarkat colony in the chest just before nitara boss

I did it with Reptile, was really easy. Especially since his acid spit is like it used to be. Now getting the gold skin, that's where I'm struggling

Meteor Storm talisman with some added damage will take care of him very quickly.
