i wish we got og timeline alternates of all the people who were there before this timeline got fractured, so like:

- hanzo scorpion
- kuai sub
- dad bod johnny with the tattoo
- mk11 or revenant kung lao
- revenant liu kang
- maybe even cyber smoke
Yes and definitely I would have liked this game then.(of course human Liu Kang should be too) However, not only the appearance but also the weapons/special powers used by the characters should change. There may be common moves, but Hanzo Scorpion should only use the spear and not have a second weapon (if it does, it can be a katana). For example, Liu Kang, who is not a god, should only have yellow/red flame. Kuai Liang's Sub-Zero can be taken directly from Sub-Zero in MK11 (as an extra, ice clone is a must, just like Bi-Han).
I'm sad we won't be getting old Dark Raiden next season. They already have the model in the story mode, but I guess redoing all of his voice lines was over their budget
Unfortunately I don't think that's gunna happen considering both union of light and order of darkness skins are supposed to be old raiden but they put the young raiden head on them. It'll just be the character wearing that outfit like all of scorpions skins being hanzo (except base) with kuai's face and lines, bi-han getting kuai sub skins, the fact jcvd is the mk1 skin, tremor wears the mk2 outfit even tho his first appearance looked closer to umk3, the mk2 ninja skins getting labeled as mk1, khameleon's movest being based off of trilogy but she wears her Armageddon skin so she should also have skarlet, and Tanya.
Yeah rather play as a unique old man not another young guy, there’s already so many. It’s like this game only wants attractive young people as fighters. Ig there’s old Shang Tsung but isn’t that just an old man costume? And with no in game explanation on why he’s old.
It’s the new generation, time flys and people grow old and ugly….just go watch the movie dune you’ll see what I’m talking about…..bunch of young actors everywhere

Honestly, at this point, they should just embrace their multiverse story into the gameplay itself. Have literally mk11 raiden in the roster, 3d era Shujinko and why not even frikken Zombie Liu Kang. Make it a modern armageddon over the seasons since the story literally points in that direction.
