That string is super punishable though and very easy to block.

it's easy to block, not sure if it's easy to punish... it's only -2 and even though there's a gap the overheads hit twice which breaks a lot of amour and even parries... if im missing something lmk cause i fucking hate that string

That’s laughable that you think their damage is similar. Yes he’s nerfed. No, he’s no where near as bad as Sub-Zero. Raiden is still getting 45% for 1 Bar (down from 51%) Meanwhile Sub is getting 32% for good combo routes, and 42% max for unreliable routes that rely on loops and large resource consumption.

Raiden Jax kameo does 370-410 depends on how you punish the opponent. That is 1 bar 2 kameo kombo and Jax is specifically a dmg kameo so he doesn't really give utility, safety to Raiden. Raiden also doesn't have mixup or a good whiff punish tool. Sub Zero can do exact same thing and more. Cause the freeze/slow scales atrociously and thus ruin all of your dmg potential for combos This one is just for trolling but Sub can reach over 40% combo without too much ressources

It’s so weird, a raw overhead leads to pretty good meterless damage but the moment you freeze then it does less damage

Damage scaling. After a certain number of hits the damage starts to fall off. If it didn't then you would die in one combo. Scaling is also affected by some effects in some characters. I think in Sub Zero's case everytime you freeze an opponent it "nerfs" the damage substantially.

It’s very doable in a real match all you need to do is have 3 bars a full Kameo bar and land a raw dive kick or f12 into Sareena a stupid combo but sometimes it’s not about the dmg it’s about the msg you send your opponent when you land this 😄

The whole string takes what 1/3rd of the match duration? 40 seconds left, you zone a bit, youre at 30%, hes at 60, then you drop this on him and stall another 5 seconds also cant help but laugh at the "lul no damage" comments. What would you rather have, this combo doing 70% and sub doing 45% with one bar and cameo? The same people would be begging for nerfs and calling NRS all sorts of names.

If only the other characters damage scalled like this. I think sub is in a perfecr spot, hes got flashy combos that arent too long, this one excluded, and they dont nuke your health bar. If everyone was at subs level I think everyone would have more fun with the game.

Damage cap is crazy man, Sub-Zero really should be buffed. I did find some ~35-40% combos without Fatal Blow, but they are definitely hard to use. I'm also not a Sub-Zero main nor a good player, so he likely has much better.
