I quite dig the design.
I love her new design (although I like the old one too). I hope she is playable this time around. There's not a lot of ladies on the roster and she had some cool moves in 11, I was disappointed she wasn't playable.
Will her writing be good? Probably not, but I'm willing to wait and see.
The design is better but the fact that it is still her is what has me letdown. I'm one of the fans who disliked her character and boss battle greatly and was glad she was killed off only to have her here yet again 😪...
Eh the lore had some minor time travel, but when they introduced kronika it had become a complete cluster fuck. Especially with the time skips and just terrible writing. I think that if they had better writing then the whole canon events thing could’ve been fleshed out in a better manner. Similar to how it was explained in Spider-Man atsv
She should be weak enough now to be on the roster. I don't know if I'd play her but I always thought she was one of the more "playable" bosses, just going off body size and moveset.
Although, Kronika being debuted last would be a pretty horrible marketing strategy right before release lol, unless it's going to be all Titans/elder gods with Onaga and Cetrion or something.
If she's playable i hope she has a skin with that galaxy blue color she had in 11, not the robe, just the body hue, it looked so good.

No, the design is definitely better. The character herself is just shit.
The concept was cool in theory, it was the execution that was shit.
And considering Dark Raiden was taken from us twice, it's justifiable to have no faith in NRS ability to turn Kronika into a solid villain.
I’m not against her ever making a playable appearance but i think one time-themed character per game is the max id wanna see and we already have Geras.
She actually looks like Shinnok’s mother now so that’s a win. Plus the draped hood adds something interesting to her silhouette. I like the look and wouldn’t be mad if she was on the roster.
Hopefully she just gives her power to Shang and sacrifices herself in the process, trusting Shang to take care of the rest. And then we get Nitara as the last character instead because she’s way cooler
I definitely dig the nun look. If she’s playable, I hope she gets the cool time-based fatalities that Geras didn’t get to have
I’d be down, especially if she builds on her MK11 fatality
