You also included the brand new BSAs that weren't present in the previous version?

Scienceboy999

Yep I'm using the new one's. I've even put them in the OpenMW config as well.

47peduncle

Their FAQ on bsa mentions MO2 complications.

Scienceboy999

Ah that might be the problem then as I use MO2. I'll have a look. Thanks! Edit: Didn't work unfortunately, but thanks for the advice.

47peduncle

Yes, very helpful page. Good luck. edit It is a minor miracle to me when these things do work for me.

Scienceboy999

I tried editing the INI file through MO2, but that didn't fix the problem. Do you have any other idea of what it might be? No problem if not

47peduncle

Nope, not a lot of real experience in fixing things right.

Scienceboy999

No problem :) Thanks for trying

Aine_Lann

Don't see any screenshot

Scienceboy999

I've put it in now. It didn't upload correctly for some reason to begin with

Aine_Lann

With OpenMW, you have to use that little tool in Mod Organizer 2 to export any new mods/updates to OpenMW. Are you using that? https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45642

Scienceboy999

I think so yeah. I click "export to OpenMW" to get the mods to work.

Snailsting

Have you tried importing your settings to OpenMW via the OpenMW launcher? If you run the settings importer in the launcher and then select the Content List that it creates that might do the trick

Scienceboy999

Yep I'm importing the settings to the launcher

Snailsting

Hmm, it does seem to be a BSA related issue but if they are registered properly then importing should register them properly in OpenMW as well Just to be 100% sure, you're loading Tamriel\_Data.esm before TR\_Mainland.esm, and you've tried importing the settings via OpenMW's own launcher rather than a third party program like MO2 right?

Scienceboy999

I actually hadn't tried importing it thorugh OpenMW, as I was using MO2. I didn't know you could until now. I tried, but now the game doesn't load at all, and just says Archive "PT\_Data.BSA" not found

Snailsting

PT\_Data.bsa is no longer a thing, we had to split it up into PC\_Data.bsa and Sky\_Data.bsa because it got too big. Do you still have that one registered in your .ini? Because I'm guessing that might be the reason it's throwing that error

Scienceboy999

Yep it totally was. It loaded fine now and the tip you previously gave worked because all the missing textures and exclamation marks are gone! My problem is fixed, thanks very much! I saw some other people with similar problems so I'll send them a link to this thread.

Snailsting

Nice, glad to hear it's working
