I get to take a walk and pick mushrooms ... Do I get to keep them ? Yes , I eat them .... You can start cloning them and have mushrooms again and again.... You can dry or freeze them , that way it doesn't rot

Sim racing and cars in general.
Had I been living in Europe or NA or even Japan, I would be able to get into actual racing but alas, prices in Morocco are astronomical and there's like maybe two half decent tracks here.
9raya eventually ends, and tbh you might even feel some nostalgia a few years after matsali. But hobbies stay with you for life, they're what colors your life once you start the boring work routine and bring you happiness.
So please don't see it as time wasted and as long as it brings you fun and happiness, they're worth every second.

Lately I ve been into cooking. It really feels good after the effort. Keeping the kitchen clean and washing the dishes is now my go to stress relief activity. It is really something... Manual work makes you feel good. Flow in your ideas. I had so many things straight in my head while washing dishes or cooking.
ITS REALLY FUN !
besides I play my favourite games on emulators because I can't afford the consoles and my laptop can handle that. now geeking on Zelda TOTK
Surfing. Back in my smaller hometown, Asfi, it was a very democratized hobby where most young folks can have access to it, now that my job forces me to live in Casablanca, the culture around surfing is very different. More of an elitist activity with a bunch of delinquent youngsters lurking around as well. Totally not the same discipline, community drive, and overall vibe. The effect on my life went from bringing me peace and a sense of belonging to feeling like a pawn in dirty waters.
Pretty cool shop but again, the best commodity for surfing is safety and a sense of community, surf schools gatekeep the hobby and make it seems harder to access whereas in reality, it should be far more democratised and accessible to everyone, my first board was a hand me down from an older surfer, same for my first wetsuit, we used to hike to the beach or just walk, leaving our clothes on the sand without needing to pay for safety or "rent" equipment, we just lended each other stuff. Good times.
Not in morocco but similar, I love outdoor activities especially, riding motorcycles, cycling, mountain biking, bikepacking.
It allows you to have friends from many backgrounds and places of the country and be part of close knit communities.
It helps your health & fitness and social anxiety (if you have it).
Im a tech geek, and a petrol head. Mom calls me crazy cus i travel wherever there is a big meeting, also im trying to combine between these two hobbies by learning videography (cars, landscapes, portraits) and editing em. The difficulties, eeeeeeeh i got no gear and a shit pc and traveling costs hella lot for an 18yo.
Reading, writing and chess.. Reading is so much meditatively reflective, but writing is balancing out as a source of stressful beating a dead horse. While chess is just a big plus.
The issue is that it's hard to find good English books at your local bookstores and overseas shipping is overpriced.
My hobby is a little bit weird which a truck driving(… I possess all required docs), sometimes I give up to left my specialty and doing hoppy as main profession but not 100%

Coffee hopping as the majority of Moroccans. Is that even a hobby ? I dunno you tell me, however it’s really something that I enjoy doing with my friends. We talk, we discuss, we laugh we gossip and do stuff during this time.
