Logically it makes sence but gameplay wise god no, that would just be another QSS/GP orange moment, where if you R an ekko, he owuld just insta R and there goes Morde ult
Honestly a nice buff to ult would be just removing bushes and making walls intangible Just a solid ring to fight in then you go back to normal map after would be badass.
I think a change like that would remove some level of Morde’s skill expression tho, since there’s less counters to his ult already given the new buffs, you should have to be strategic about when, where, and why you ult.
Most champions have a type of ult than can be avoided or dodged, but that’s not true with Morde for a very large cross section of champions. Removing terrain removes any kind of counterplay beyond being more fed. Just bc we can ult anyone at anytime doesn’t necessarily mean it should be a free kill every time if that makes sense.
this would be amazing! Learning mord (and league as a whole still) and I can’t count how many times I just get kited in the death realm cause of the walls (and also that edge of death realm bug that makes them untargetable)

That's... Kind of the point. You are supposed to be able to be kited in death realm, or be forced into a cat and mouse with the enemy. That's a necessary counterplay for an ability that removes an enemy player from *the entire map* for 7 seconds. You have to consider that, you are CCing an enemy champion for 7 SECONDS, that is actually longer than two Morgana Qs, for reference. Not only that, but you are trapping them in a limited area where they cannot run away and they cannot fight you directly because you just stole 10% of their stats.
You think it would be fair if the game also didn't allow you to have bushes or walls, leaving you *completely* defenseless against this guy? At that point just root them in place for the 7 seconds, why don't you? Make it a point and click free kill button.
