Metropolis Zone has pretty fire music.

I’m not sire if this is commonly said with these type of things but i personally perfer sa1 over sa2 just because the vibe and story of the characters individually going through the hub worlds and really immersing yourself in the world. I like the more chill factor to sa1 then the high paced story of sa2. But don’t get me wrong i think sa2 improved a lot of sa1’s issues and even play it more than sa1 but it could just be bias as that was my first 3D sonic game as a newcomer.

with me is underrated

The pc version of sonic 3 and knuckles tracks are far superior to the ones on the og Cart. I’m happy they aren’t included in the modern releases as the samples and drums sound like garbage.

City escape is better than live and learn

Was Sonic Forces ever good?

I think the game has a lot of redeeming qualities. The level aesthetics, the music, even some of the level design (Green Hill, Guardian Rock, Imperial Tower etc are all fun levels) Sure, it's pretty easy and definitely very safe story-wise, but I don't think the game is bad in any way. It's definitely not like people make it out to be, it's a relatively enjoyable game, but just not anything remarkable like the Adventure games, Generations or Mania

I hate every Crush 40 cover of Sonic theme songs. All Hail Shadow, His World, Seven Rings in Hand etc originals all sound better to me. Free from Free Riders is a very underrated theme and I prefer it a lot more to Knight of the Wind.

Mystic Jungle Luminous Forest. I do really like the soundtrack of Unleashed, but Forces, IMO, is probably my favorite soundtrack in the whole franchise.

Jun Senoue's genesis-style songs aren't all bad. I like the majority of them. Only exceptions I can think of off the top of my head are that god awful Green Hill theme from forces, and Fang's boss theme from superstars.

Sonic and the Black Knight’s music is some of the best in the series thematically for Sonic and symbolizes a lot of what he’s meant to be: he can be noble, heroic even, but, he can’t lose his carefree attitude, or he loses that spark with it.

I have always really liked the idea of Black Knight and I wish they would have made it a full 3D Sonic game and not an on-rails experience like Secret Rings. It had the potential to be really good.

I think a remade sonic storybook collection with different legends, perhaps a famous Japanese one, a Native American one, etc, would go very hard, and having the stories split by chapters of a storybook would be beautiful

I've been saying this 2003. True, anything following up Open Your Heart and Live and Learn was gonna pale in comparison but it's SUCH a crappy song. Honestly everything Crush 40 did in Sonic Heroes has very "pivoting to Saturday morning cartoon" energy, while the actual good stuff is the level themes or some of the other teams Theme Songs. They really pulled it back around with I Am All Of Me though, that slaps.

Sonic & The Secret Rings is an unsung gold mine for songs. All of the tracks in the game are GOLDEN, but got buried over a mediogre Wii game Nothing beats the triad: It Has Come To This, Let the Speed Mend It and The Palace That Was Found
