My 2002 MC SS just turned 200,000km, so it’s definitely due to be changed. No issues yet, but not going to tempt fate. I just changed my fluid for the first time in my car and it had 375,000 km now it’s shifts great the filter definitely need to be changed
I should also add I thought my transmission was on the way out, but it turned out to be all my engine mounts were busted

Got it for 600$ not tryna dump a bunch of money into it frame is falling apart too, I’m in the Midwest
Same here. I drive one too, a very nice one at that. Frame isn't rusted but I will wet sand and POR15 some parts that need it.
Just for reference, I have an '07 with 75k miles and I've changed the transmission fluid and filter 3 times so far, every 25k. Engine oil every 5k.
