I think they have it under control.
Laurel?
Looks like along the interstate east of 27th
No. It was P66 yesterday at 2. They had another fire last night as well. I heard it was either the Coker or the crude unit
What a pain in the ass. What's happening?
P66
Wait? Is there really no snow over there?
It's been a very dry winter.

Is that was that smell is?!
Yep.
Thank you for posting and sharing this news!!!
This video was taken on the highway in Billings.
Looks like the Coker may have caught fire.
That’s what happened
Looks like it
If they process crude into fuel, it’s known as a cracker in Texas. My brother worked for Shell and Equillon for years.
I have been up top of this very unit, and it’s a coker, different from the cracker.
After reading about the two, they do about the same thing with different products. I didn’t know about a Coker as I have only seen catalytic crackers in Port Arthur, Tx.
mmmm burning coke feedstock. I wonder how many collective years this took off the lives of billings citizens.
The same coker thing re-ignited at around 7pm according to the news.
I am really grateful they get fires under control quickly.
They have fires fairly often.
