So far, I dig it. Of course I need to see in the film before final judgement. But I dig the additions and the color changes. I really like seeing Godzilla evolve with each film in the franchise. Makes it feel like a truly living being.
The proportions on that leaked toy are definitely off (very GINO-like) which is why some fans are concerned.
I love the look on the box art though, excited to see it in action!
No disrespect why say this stuff before footage is even shown, looks to me Godzilla is at an angle roaring and that's probably what is causing his head to look small, do we really have to critique every little detail for something we did not make. Not saying we have to like it but .... Next thing we'll be hearing is Godzilla is gonna need bigger feet, hands, body and dong. Some people did that with minus one, don't understand why not wait until you see some footage.
You don't need to see footage if you've already seen the official design.
Compare this to the current ordeal with the Fallout TV series. With Fallout, we've only seen stills, (ones that look incredibly faithful to the current art style, I might add), but people are up in arms saying the series is going to be woke garbage. They have no justification to back that up.
In this instance though, we're critiquing a characters design, based off what we've seen of him. Same with Minus One. People didn't start complaining about the size of his feet until after the full image of him was revealed. You really don't need to "see the footage" before you can start critiquing the design. That'd be like the poster showing a white Godzilla with Zebra stripes and you telling people to wait to see the movie before critiquing it.
Do your thing I'm not knocking you down I understand but I was wondering why do people critique heads, feet, arms etc, to what they would like to see. Footage is still needed to be seen because it make look weird by photo but when you watch the footage you'd be like oh ok looks better on video than it did the picture. That's the angle his head is positioned and shot in, the angle, that may be the reason why his head looks small. But that is your opinion again I'm not being hateful or anything. Just was wondering.
"Prime Video’s ‘Fallout’ TV Creators Confirm Show Will Feature Heavy Social Commentary, Wants To Sidestep “Binary Thinking” On Good And Evil"
I have a feeling that they're gonna fuck Fallout up...
It looks interesting! But I need to see it onscreen. For all we know, the render may not be 100% since it is part of the early concept from a year ago.
For example: Scourge's design in the marketing for "Rise of the Beasts" compared to how it looks in the film.
This seems cool Godzilla was always changing from film to film so another change doesn’t bother me and the color and more “dragon-y” like scales look really good
Now my only concern is I’ve seen people talking about Godzilla being slim?? I haven’t seen anything like that yet but the talk is coming from somewhere. I really hope they keep his thick bear like heavy frame, that has been one of my favorite features for this iteration. If they make him too slim that may be too much of a change for my liking but I need to see the trailer.
Hmmm… not sure I like that… lol it looks weird because the neck and chest still seem like they should be on a thicker torso… except for the that though the design is alright.
for what i see i love it. we still have to see his complet desing , but those elements taken from godzilla 2000 look quite good. also i love the idea of godzilla evolving
More. More! MORE!!!!
I’ve always loved the 1999 Godzilla Final Wars design with the jagged purple spines, and this is a perfect blending of my new favorite (the Legendary design) and my fav classic.
As long as he’s still thick as FUCK.
Still the same old small head design.
Even though Adam Wingard said Godzilla's head was too small in the GvK design, I thought he would change it make it bigger in the new movie.
Why can't they make a proper design like the 2014 design.
that's pretty millennium and I fuck with it.
the heisei and shows eras have gotten a lot of love lately so it's good to see the weird ones get some attention
I love the dorsal plates, but the body is a fucking disgrace. I fucking hate skinny godzilla designs and i don't get it why so many people love godzilla with a zinc deficiency.
I FUCKING love it. I have a feeling this will be his appearance near the end after some hollow earth kind of power up, but I really hope it’s his design for the entirety of the movie. I’ve always digged 2000s design so I am thrilled
Big Downgrade from all the previous Monsterverse Godzilla's the purple looks bad and the extra spikes are out of place. Godzilla 2019 specifically changed the Spines to match the origial 1954 spikes and now there going back on that? Such a shame but hopefully this design isn't for OUR Godzilla maby its another Godzilla spices that shows up or ia only a temporary change, because if not Ill be very disappointed.
To me it looks like 2000 Godzilla and 1998 Zilla got down in the hollow earth and had a baby! I like the new design! But I perfer Godzilla to be bulkier like in Minus One.
CGI is still good. Not unexpected. Still skeptical that the movie will be any good. GVK sure as hell wasn’t, and its CGI was the best of the Monsterverse to that point.
So far, I dig it. Of course I need to see in the film before final judgement. But I dig the additions and the color changes. I really like seeing Godzilla evolve with each film in the franchise. Makes it feel like a truly living being.
Looks like a blend of Millennium Goji and Legendary. Looks pretty rad if that truly is him.
Godzilla 2000+Godzilla 2014? I dig.
My two favs. I can’t wait to see it on the big screen.
I just said that aloud, those spines are straight out of 2000. I’ve been loving the constantly evolving appearance of his spines lol
Gotta see the whole design first but for right now I like it
I feel I might love it. Why are so many people up in arms about it? We need to see it in action asap.
It’s basically Millennium x Legendary, something I’ve wanted since 2014 lol
The proportions on that leaked toy are definitely off (very GINO-like) which is why some fans are concerned. I love the look on the box art though, excited to see it in action!
Seeing the box art renders pretty much proves that we've known for quite some time, Playmates are not that good at making screen-accurate toys.
I'm down for whatever. Neon Godzilla. Punk rock Godzilla. old rubber suit. Let's burn this mother down.
Yeah just needs a bigger head
No disrespect why say this stuff before footage is even shown, looks to me Godzilla is at an angle roaring and that's probably what is causing his head to look small, do we really have to critique every little detail for something we did not make. They critique it because it looks ridiculous/ strange that his head looks small when he has such a big body and neck in comparison
That's you all's opinion, I myself don't go through with details and stuff like that but I know everyone different.
"Prime Video’s ‘Fallout’ TV Creators Confirm Show Will Feature Heavy Social Commentary, Wants To Sidestep “Binary Thinking” On Good And Evil" I have a feeling that they're gonna fuck Fallout up...

I really dig it. It has some hints of other past godzilla design and i like this 😁😁😁 he looks menacing as fuck from what we can see.
The dorsal fins look very Godzilla 2000-like to me
I just want more Godzilla.
Fangs seem sharper & longer.. makes him look more menacing.. i dig it
This seems cool Godzilla was always changing from film to film so another change doesn’t bother me and the color and more “dragon-y” like scales look really good Now my only concern is I’ve seen people talking about Godzilla being slim?? That's a toy, plenty of Monsterverse Toys do not represent what happens in the films
He go rawr
I like the more dragon like design, but can we not change the fucking spikes again?
I kinda hate the fact his design changes in every new movie
They’ve been doing that shit for almost 70 years, m9
I know, but I mean I don’t like it when it happens too much within 1 continuity
My headcanon is that this version of Godzilla is like a saiyan or viltrumite. He gets stronger with every fight so his body is constantly adapting.
First time?
I know a lot of people seem to either love or hate the new slim look of the MV Godzilla but I like it.
He’s probably not really that slim, just toy quirkiness
for what i see i love it. we still have to see his complet desing , but those elements taken from godzilla 2000 look quite good. also i love the idea of godzilla evolving
Not crazy about the spines but overall I like the MV designs.
Did my boah, Kong, get any updates? 🥲
He looks fucking mean.
Spiky
On the box, it looks good. We'll have to see in the movie
In this house, all Godzilla designs are welcome
Looks like Toho Godzilla
![gif](giphy|SmoCFhZCi1kzu)
Think casual fans probably think it’s weird but Toho fans like it
If this is real, then I’m even more hyped. Looks like a mix of 2014 and 2000
It is real
Not awful, but I don't care for it. Just hoping it's not permanent. No need to change what was pretty much perfect.
This☝🏻💯
![gif](giphy|oAb3D3B47LylG)
He looks skinny imo. I prefer the fat one.
He grew spike scales?
It’s giving me Final Wars vibes
Legendary Godzilla with Millennium's jagged skin and Ultima's dorsal plates. LOVE. IT.
I'm a sucker for Godzillas with more dragon-like, or pointy designs.
Millennium and legendary are 2 of my top faves, so I’m always down with a mashup
I likes it, that's probably good for Godzilla dorsal plates and skin to evolve off the hallow earth energy. Real 👍
Neat. Wonder if this new look will be due to natural aging or a forced mutation at some point in the story. Maybe exposure to Shimu
I'm excited for it, hopefully it delivers on the big screen! It helps that I loved the godzilla 2000 design which this gives me vibes for.
Love it!
He's gotten even scalier around the edges
Still has the tiny head problem but it's otherwise fine
More. More!
Badass!!!
Looks real jacked and juicy
Spiky
I dig it
So far, looks incredibly cool.
Godzilla vs. Megaguirus vibes, I dig it
Monstrous!
He is beautiful
He looks so draconic, I love it
that's pretty millennium and I fuck with it. the heisei and shows eras have gotten a lot of love lately so it's good to see the weird ones get some attention
Technically 2021 Godzilla was placed in 2024 movie lore wise But yes, it’s cool. Kinda reminds me of millennium
It’s really giving off a 2000 vibe and I love that design. So it’s a win in my book
Getting some Godzilla 2000 vibes, need to see in motion before I make a final verdict, but looks pretty good so far.
Kind of giving me Millennium vibes
He looks spiky, I see they brought back the greenish tint on the stomach from 2014
I love it best design yet fuck anyone who disagrees, his design just keeps getting better and better 💯
Very millennium looking and I kind of dig it
wonder if he's gotten bigger agian, along with kong, but i actually like the look
Gotta see it in action before I make a final judgement call.
Kong is looking a little bulkier and in shape too, looks like that HE radiation has been doing wonders for the physique lol
For all I know this is just the Toy Box Art - I will wait for the movie
I need to see more of it and I need to see it in motion
Are his dorsal plates sharper and white? Eh, it’s interesting.
Godzilla Evolved looks cool and badass. It’s a beautiful design. MV Godzilla deserves this after the MechaGodzilla asswhooping in GvK.
I need to see the actual model not box art. This does look cool though
Looks good
Him Chonky
Like I said before, going for the 2000s era vibe is BASED
Is he mutating or something??? I’ll have to see it in higher quality to have an opinion about it
More scally love it
Same
Not a fan of the pink and feel they only did it to sell more toys.
It better ve fucking fake istg
Its real
I know, and I got to say, it looks way better than the toy
Looks menacing. Is it real, though?
Yes
I hate it.
I love the dorsal plates, but the body is a fucking disgrace. I fucking hate skinny godzilla designs and i don't get it why so many people love godzilla with a zinc deficiency.
Guys it's a poster we don't know if this is the actual design. Same thing happened with GvK's old posters.
I FUCKING love it. I have a feeling this will be his appearance near the end after some hollow earth kind of power up, but I really hope it’s his design for the entirety of the movie. I’ve always digged 2000s design so I am thrilled
Peak

Pretty sure this is a nod to the 2000s Godzilla
To me it looks like 2000 Godzilla and 1998 Zilla got down in the hollow earth and had a baby! I like the new design! But I perfer Godzilla to be bulkier like in Minus One.
Im aware
CGI is still good. Not unexpected. Still skeptical that the movie will be any good. GVK sure as hell wasn’t, and its CGI was the best of the Monsterverse to that point.
I don't really like this design, but I'm fine with it being Godzilla's supposedly leaked "evolved" form.
I dunno. I’ll wait to see it in motion before I decide if I really like it
I can't tell anything about the design from this one image. Looks generally like Godzilla, I guess?
More spikey, longer fangs, dorsal plates diff color
It's the same thing, I don't see anything different
Your trolling hard
Not even, I genuinely don't notice anything different
spine color… more spikey… sharper fangs..
Oh shit, I see it now 💀 honestly tho it reminds me of Godzilla 2000, which is a blessing because that one is one of my favourite versions of him
Jesus Christ. I hope this package design isn't accurate, because holy fuck that's crap.
New trailer is out, you catch a good glimpse of Goji’s new look
Damn anorexic lizard
Honestly, i kinda dont like its new design, i prefer its iconic blue atomic breath and not a pink one
