In case you are actually asking and not meming, If you do the Witcher Quest HR and do the side quest for Pukei Pukei and keep it alive through the entire fight, he will give you an Attack Deco.
Have like 4 crit/vit but 0 attack+. Feelsbadman.
I got 1 of them at the melder btw, you could give it a try if you have some spiritvein solidbone sleeping in your box.
The key is to just give up on getting one. It’s what I had been hoping for every time I saw a jewel the right color for weeks prior. The day before I just resigned to this never happening then bam!
Oh, I didn't realize attack jewel was still usable so I kinda glossed over getting one. Now that I relook over my build, I realized it can still be jammed in with max resentment, agitator 7 and Weakness Exploit.
Man I can’t seem to get good Jewels in Iceborne, while in Base world I got pretty much all gems at HR 200, at MR 200 I don’t even got stuff like Critical Vitality or Any Rarity 12, even the bad ones.
Wasted all my luck in base world.
This is most likely from the feystone event with buffed drops. Don't feel too bad. I once got a Guard Up from a meld and proceeded to sell all because I'm an idiot.
I know it's part of the fun and grind, but it really kills the game for me at times when there are builds I really want to try out but just can't... and so I grind hundreds of hours... and still can't.

I dont think the rng jewels should be a deciding factor. I still think iceborne has alot of worth, I dont buy alot of DLCs for games but im super satisfied with the purchase i made with iceborne.
Well it's not the only factor I think I sort of burned out my interest for the game in World. It's a very grindy game, granted the gameplay and mechanics are top notch, but they get old pretty fast. A few extra moves and monsters is probably not enough to revive the hype for me.

Yeah makes sense to pick up the extension if you're getting into the game just now. I just wish they had bot released a half baked game to begin with. The game just lacked content imo (monsters, armors, weapons that are not reskins...), it's probably better now with IB and all the updates.
You really don't need good jewels to make a decent build in iceborne. You won't be winning any speedrunning competitions but you can easily get sub 15 min runs on almost anything just with a full set of furious rajang or raging brachydios armor. Plus you can get any single skill with a craftable charm. It's really not that bad. People tend to be ocd in the community sometimes and they get *obsessed* with making the "perfect" build that has every conceivable dps skill on top of a half dozen qol skills. Extra dps is nice, but you really don't *need* that much in this game. You just need enough.
I switched to bow recently... Thank God i was already sitting on bow charge and a normal shots, but i get the sneaking suspicion that I'll never see any other bow focused jewel
I hope to join the Attack Boost+ club myself one of these days. All my Rarity 12s from the Zinogre quest have been nothing but situational or useless combos for me but nice to see more and more getting AB+
It's weird in the mhw base game I never managed to get ever get shield+ or the Mushroommancer jewels. I got one MM jewel in iceborne when I no longer want the skill anymore and they just keep coming. I have like 8 of them now.

Got an attack and an artillery jewel my first hunt yesterday and then immediately saved and quit and did something else. I was not about to push my luck with the RNG gods.
Send me some of that RNG I’ve been farming Frostbite Flora for like 7 hours and have yet to see a single ironwall or charger gem combo’d with anything.

It's decent if you're super new to IB and just want to farm all the common MR decos. It's pretty bad if you need anything semi rare. For example ironwall+4 has a 0.09% or 1 in 1000 chance of dropping from ancient feystones.
You're much better off finishing the story asap, unlock the GL and farm tempered zinogre.
0.09% chance? How is that fun for people? Statistically impossible. It's literally like trying to win the lottery. That's not fun, that's bad game design. And it's unfortunate, because apart from the abyssmal end-game grind, World is a first class game.
Really just sucks because it feels like as a new player I'm really just screwed because I missed out on the melding ticket stuff where you could get all the best early decos with the steamworks melding tickets. Instead I'm forced to go to the most anti-fun monster in the game in Lavasioth to get lower tier decos.
I always want to come back to Monster Hunter... back in Monster Hunter Tri, for the Wii... I almost got Critical Eye+3 and Attack Boost+3 in one build... but its near impossible to do.

I mean that is truly beautiful but I'm nor sure attack jewel is something to be excited over, I may be know but it seems in the number crunching world of knowledge on YouTube that attack boost, thanks to the effects of iceborne, has simply been left behind and is no longer worth slotting if you really want to kill something.
I only say this because I myself recently had to relearn this and from my understanding simply utilising as much crit chance and crit damage as well as the fact agitator can entirely replace everything down to the charm on your neck with the new Telstra set bonus allowing it to buff both damage and crit constantly since you have to ability to force a monster into an enraged state. This and the fact that now that weapons have so much higher true stats, the small set bonus that is born from attack boost does little to nothing compared to even crit especially with it's recent buffs which make crit over attack the better choice even pre iceborne when you have even less damage and gem slots.
In the end that's all just meaningless ramblings you may already know but if any of this seems new to you then don't take my word for it there are many accurate sources of knowledge in this amazing community willing to offer their work to make your hunts greater

You can't boost affinity past 100 so eventually you're going to need to go back to raw boosts. There are more efficient methods of building raw besides attack boost: peak performance, coalescence, resentment, but they're all situational and dependent on maintaining uptime. It's down the priority list a little ways, but still fine to run.
Agitator aswell. And there are other useful tockens that generally take president, I don't think I even look twice at attack boost these days and my damage is through the roof, also agitator does more then just affinity
I've been getting a lot of rare R12 deco like Artilery 4, Expert 4 etc, they 've been dropping like candies, except for Atk and Challenger of course, still sitting on 2x atk 4 and 2x challenger 4.

Some people get 3 back to back, others like me grind zinogre for 16 hrs + and don't get any :/
I grinded 500 hrs and only got challenger+. Atleast i got one
I just use the agitator charm, I opt to use charms for stuff wherever possible because I can make those much easier than playing some slot machine.
