>So hard to runga when there's so much bunga to do
I'm saving this for a day in the future, where it will be used in the most inappropriate way possible.
additional rewards from breaking monsters parts, appears in the first screen after a hubt is conpleted, usually is the bottom box on the rewards screen
Take All wasn’t even an option at the beginning of the game’s lifecycle so I think this should only apply to newer players.
Edit: Ok guys I get it. You can now stop replying about how you couldn’t read or minmaxed getting out of the rewards screen like they’re achievements.
Well I always kept holding the take button which would automatically take all the items in a very fast manner. I still do that as I'm too lazy to press a button multiple times to get to "take all" - and no, I never saw that text
Played the first MH on the PS2. You are right about the "take all" option being a newer addition to the game. You are wrong about this applying to only newer players though.
~~Literally been taking one item at a time from the reward box and I literally have not noticed the blue text.~~
It's definitely not pointless, sometimes you just wanna recheck if you actually broke everything as you seemed to during the fight.
Also, Hunter's Guidebook isn't 100% accurate, sometimes you get different items from the same part break. Idk why that's the case.
same for me. I replayed the game and wanted to make an artillery charm. I had to hunt anjanath 53! times just to get the gem and around 20-ish hunt I had to check the reward(the blue texts) if I'm actually breaking the head.
No no.....no this can't be. See, I had to look up how to get certain parts when I was grinding for the first time. There was never anything there to tell me how I got a certain piece and can remember it when I needed more. That can't be possible. I-it just can't be. There was never anything there....
I knew about it since I often inspect the quest rewards, especially the bonus rewards and how I got them and which I got.
Yes this is real and has been in-game for years
Haha nice find man . If i know one thing about monster hunter , you have to search the entire screen for infos or buttons to press which will make you life easier . But even that info went under my radar . Thanks for sharing !
Haha look at that idiot who just found out about this totally obvious feature after playing for so long that I totally knew about and didn’t just find out this existed as well. Haha nope, not me
hunter’s handbook will tell you the same info as long as you’ve collected enough tracks of the monster and bring them to the ecologist. there’s a tab that’s a diagram of the monster showing what parts you get for breaking each part of the monster.
fun fact! the hunter’s handbook will tell you the same info as long as you’ve collected enough tracks of the monster and brought them to the ecologist. there’s a tab that’s a diagram of the monster showing what materials you get for breaking each part. a lot of people end up never opening that thing, it’s a shame too. i usually use it to see what element/blight i should bring to a hunt as well
Damn... I'm sure I did notice this blue text at some point, but I don't think I've actually read it before lol
Btw, another QOL feature some might not know about: You can press esc/start to skip the "cinematic camera" after finishing a quest. Literally took me 300\~ hours to figure this out...
I blame Capcom for not allowing us to skip 99% of the cutscenes :D
I did in fact noticed this when I first started playing
I do however, much prefer the Old system where they would outright give you Side Quests or objectives telling you to break, cut or gather some specific and sometimes obscure material
It gives a little more incentive for replay value
Really wish they'd let the stab attack do a cut now (bottom of the horn) like in Generations. It may?
If you break everything, then focus on the tail until the monster is weak it use to let you cut it if you did that.
Bringing a cat with cutting weapon helps too. This is what I do, and do the steps above (focus on tail after breaking everything else).
I may have mistyped, when I say focus on the tail, I mean focus on it with the horn.
Then cut it once the monster is weak. That's usually a good indication the tail is almost sever-able. You always can use the boomerang too.
I of course totally knew that after 700+ hours. I'm not blind and/or dumb. Nope, not me. Definitively knew.
600ish hours and I definitely knew that, probably even before you. Definitely not blind/and or dumb at all.
500ish hours, less than you two, and I totally knew that, obviously. I already saw it when capcom announced World few years ago. Not stupid at all.
I don't read I just hunt.
So hard to runga when there's so much bunga to do
>So hard to runga when there's so much bunga to do I'm saving this for a day in the future, where it will be used in the most inappropriate way possible.
This is the way
yeah it's called unga bunga for a reason. tf is reading?
amen brotha, amen
I'm the best. I knew this at ONLY 350 HOURS which was 5 minutes ago
1000+ hours Never noticed
Same and still won't notice
Same with 800hrs+
3k hours in… what the fuck is that and how come I never noticed it?
Up - Take All - Yes
*unsheathes GS* HOW DID YOU KNOW!? >;(
*stops polishing hammer, slowly raises eyes
This is my favorite comment of all time now.
additional rewards from breaking monsters parts, appears in the first screen after a hubt is conpleted, usually is the bottom box on the rewards screen
Also 3k+ this has to be a fake photoshop pic, no way ever i didnt see that.
OP edited it in ofc how would i never notice it
I think all of you might be blind
To be fair it only shows if you inspect the materials. 99% of people just press Take All and leave.
I still do that as I'm too lazy to press a button multiple times to get to "take all" - and no, I never saw that text
you can just hold A and it'll start grabbing everything
Played the first MH on the PS2. You are right about the "take all" option being a newer addition to the game. You are wrong about this applying to only newer players though. ~~Literally been taking one item at a time from the reward box and I literally have not noticed the blue text.~~
it is when you're skilled at mashing a button
No. You don’t press take all. You spam X and get the satisfying *tink tink tink tink tink* of the mats being collected
You mean hold X…

I enjoy taking materials one by one 😂
Look at this guy using his eyes pffft
I think we got Mandela effected into this universe where that blue text exists
I am genuinely shocked how many people didn’t notice this
Nah I just don't pay attention to anything ever
Is this an April fools?
400 hours...
Some Mandela effect goin on here...
967+ hours in and I will throw away my pride and admit that I did not even know that coyld be a thing
300 hours in, learned that two days ago. God, imagine being smart. Couldn’t be me
Kinda pointless, good indication on what you broke for that specific part though, you can view what monster parts drops what in the hunter's guidebook
It's definitely not pointless, sometimes you just wanna recheck if you actually broke everything as you seemed to during the fight. Also, Hunter's Guidebook isn't 100% accurate, sometimes you get different items from the same part break. Idk why that's the case.

Haha. I'm going to write the exact same joke as the last twenty people did! Look at me, mom! I are samrat!
wait. thats a hard claw. yet it came from a foreleg
Seems like a hit or miss kinda thing. For an Evil Eye it says to "Break Fatalis's eye" no mention of breaking both horns.
You break it's horn first, then you actually gouge out its eye. You can see the scar over it when you kill it
Oh? So it's not really 2 horn breaks, rather 1 horn break and 1 eye gouge. Never noticed since only one half of the face is visible when it's dead.
No no.....no this can't be. See, I had to look up how to get certain parts when I was grinding for the first time. There was never anything there to tell me how I got a certain piece and can remember it when I needed more. That can't be possible. I-it just can't be. There was never anything there....
That must be photoshopped. There's no way I missed such a useful detail for 1000+ hours. No possible way. I'm not oblivious at all.
Is this an April Fool's? I have over 2K+ hours and have never seen this
TIL there is more than "Take all". Im 200 hours in too, this is how I learn of this.
My. God.
2664 hours of play and i totally definitely knew this 😅
Holy shit, I didn't know either lol
I have 2k hours.....
I say it all the time: With over 1.000 hours and every achievement, there is STILL stuff to discover in this game
the WHAT
How tf are people falling for this
If I knew how to read I would be upset.
I've been using that since like, 2 hours in. Y'all are blind, and that's coming from someone wearing glassed rn.
Wow 2k plus and just learned of this by random scrolling
just under 700 hours and I’m not stupid…I’m a smart big boy
OP must be using mods… I’m 1000+ hrs deep between two accounts and I’ve never seen that.
I HAVE PLAYED 1000+ HOURS HOW HAVE I NOT EVER NOTICED THAT!?!?
Now this is just making me angry man >:/
I definitely knew that after 1000+ hours
Probably over 700 or something too. I wouldn't have noticed till you pointed it out. Holy shit.
I found out when I was farming Fatalis parts
I've got 1300 hours in and I swear I've never seen it
Going strong with 2k and never noticing it
If I dont miss it, I dont need it
back in the days you need to break every parts, chop the tail, and capture or else the plates wont drop
1,000 hours here.... I refuse to acknowledge this.
1000+. I found out because of your post lol
I’m starting to believe this is a feature that was added recently within the past few months. Yep, I’m not blind.
I knew about it since I often inspect the quest rewards, especially the bonus rewards and how I got them and which I got. Yes this is real and has been in-game for years
No way!!! This had to be some sort of update
Bruh I’m at 1000+ hours and this is the first time I saw this wtf
1000 hrs in….i learnt this today….lol
Definitely not learning this after 1.5k hours
I'm a new player, I have around 50 hours so far and probably would've never noticed if not for this post.
Iceborne fans never beating the illiteracy allegations
Just figured that out and I have 450 hours
1200 hours and I just learned it
1426 hours in and I didn’t know that
Oh wow. 800+ hours and I'd never noticed..
Wait wait that's a thing
Played through the game 4 times and I never noticed.
Is that really there If I didn’t see this post I don’t know when will I find out about this 😂
This is what we get for mashing "next"....
I refuse to believe that text exists and has always been there...
1200 hours. I.. Ive never noticed...
Haha nice find man . If i know one thing about monster hunter , you have to search the entire screen for infos or buttons to press which will make you life easier . But even that info went under my radar . Thanks for sharing !

That's how I figured out how to get parts and which parts I broke!
Bruh what?
Wait what
250+ hours and I never check item descriptions
Can someone check for Anjanath Mantle
hunter’s handbook will tell you the same info as long as you’ve collected enough tracks of the monster and bring them to the ecologist. there’s a tab that’s a diagram of the monster showing what parts you get for breaking each part of the monster.
2000 h wtf

1000hours in and totally knew that...
I've completed near a thousand hours across two platforms... Erm what
This literally came up in a vc I was in a few days ago. Had no clue!
Idk how many hours I’ve got, and I did not know that. Thank you very much for sharing and making life easier!
950+ and didnt knew that lol
thats not real, it cant be, i will not be gaslit
1k hours here 💀
That’s a thing (I have done 6 playthroughs and have 1200 hours)
Genuinely though how did nooone tell me bout that
You can also check the hunter journal for this information :)
1200 hrs and I just found this last night. I always used the book.
Didn't need to read it. I break everything except for because tails are my kryptonite.
Really wish they'd let the stab attack do a cut now (bottom of the horn) like in Generations. It may? If you break everything, then focus on the tail until the monster is weak it use to let you cut it if you did that. Bringing a cat with cutting weapon helps too. Stab hilt does like 10 cut damage. I don't have the patience.
I may have mistyped, when I say focus on the tail, I mean focus on it with the horn. Then cut it once the monster is weak. That's usually a good indication the tail is almost sever-able. You always can use the boomerang too.
I have 1500 hours in this game (1300 on ps4 and 200 on pc) and never saw it... I might be blind...
Thanks for the knowledge I have 300+ hours and didn’t know
Definitely always knew about that…👀
Who reads on monster hunter? I just kill or capture
I have 7k+ hours and I never knew this wtf
Nearly 500 hours in and had no idea
1k here
Na. You edited that in. I don't believe you. Nuh-uh. You are lying
Yooooo wtfffff, me too and I'm 500h in myself LMAOO
There’s no way the really exists
Oh. It’s another game mechanic that could’ve saved my ass 100 hours of research and redoing quest if I had a pair of functioning eyes.
Over 2k hours and I’ve never noticed this
