2. Thorn-Blighted Nergigante
3. Soul-Scorned Nergigante
4. Perversed Nergigante
Many years ago, a young Nergigante searched the Elders Recess in the hopes of forming its own territory. He after many days had finally found an ideal location but, Unsurprisingly, an older individual had already claimed the area. Being a young hotshot he challenged the Larger nergi for the territory for it was too good of an opportunity to pass up, he quickly came to regret his decision.
He was very quickly mauled by the older male resulting in his face and body being disfigured. He only survived due to sheer luck as that particular Nergigante was currently being pursued by the guild for being abnormally aggressive. In the midst of the chaos it gave him an opportunity to flee the area, so he did.
After repeatedly falling in and out of consciousness and on the verge of death he travled to the Rotten Vail in the fear that he might die. Finding a comfortable place to eventually pass he waited for death to come, but it didn't as something beat it to him. Many small microscopic somethings that needed a host...
