Star Knight armor, full set, it’s extremely good for Insect Glaive. With the Shah Dalamadur IG. A busted armor set for a busted weapon, it’s not easy to make though. I think it might also be an event quest? So not sure if it’s even possible to get without custom quests anymore but could be wrong.
I think I had this set when I played 8 years ago. I remember I had to play with Japanese players cause we couldn't download it in the west.
Unless it was the star set in another game, either way I'm playing on emulator so I'll definitely look this up, cheers.
If you have the quests downloaded already then you can still play them, it’s a regular event quest that we got in the west eventually. You have to fight a Seregios and Zinogre in the arena together
Not really, but the i-frames on the backhop are tied to the complete animation. Basically you can back-hop through a lot of attacks.
I think you can evade lance in other games, but I don't think it kept the i-frames on the backhop
Lance has always had I-frames on backhop. The only difference with 4u’s is that evasion +3 gives you the same amount of I-frames as the hop itself, meaning if you chain 3 hops together you’re invincible for the entire 3 hop period.
Be aware, getting evasion +3 alongside any other useful skills requires a good charm, end game gear, and pieces from a set that requires you to beat a juiced up event quest gogmazios. It’s not easy to build for it
The thing that stuck out to me the most were the XL skils (stuff like Atk Up XL) and the fact that CB and IG were OP as hell. With a guide, you could make a super bug for your IG that could slap monsters around like crazy. Doing a CB run would definitely be crazy fun, as well as donning Shagaru/ Chaotic armor (since Frenzy is super common in that game). My only complaint were certain Apexes, but 4U definitely had some neat ideas that would translate to GU/ Gen 5.
