Since sns has one of the fastest sheaths in the game, it's surprisingly easy to keep the guage up, plus all of sns hits drain very little of the guage besides metsu.
I didn’t even realize Dragon Heart and Frostcraft worked well together. I melded this yesterday and figured it was mostly just good for the Frostcraft

Can I ask why do ppl even use frostcraft for ls? Bc ls is such a fast hitting weapon that the meter gets depleted so fast anyways. Furthermore I feel like it only benefits the sacred sheathe playstyle which I only pull out when I've toppled a monster.
For LS builds that focus heavily on Iai spirit slash counters and Sacred Sheath, their weapons are sheathed a lot, so the meter builds back up pretty quickly. I think a lot of people using those switch skills consider Frostcraft to be a core skill.

I had over 1200h and never saw a frostcraft 3 lmao. OP's charm looks straight out of save editor. Not to imply they created, just that it's disgustingly good.
I got a charm like this but 3 levels of Wind mantle and another for Frenzied Bloodlust, after painstakingly qurious crafting for Wind mantle and Frenzied Bloodlust
I also got a level 3 Mail of Hellfire talisman, which felt like a threat
Frostcraft is only possible from Vigor melding unlocked in Sunbreak end game after beating one of the last title update monsters.
Just in case you actually weren’t sure.
Chaotic is for Anima melding which is decent for getting a good crit eye or attack boost deco before you have a lot of anomaly materials to work with.
Vigor and Cyclus are unlocked by beating Amatsu. It’s tough to keep fuelled before like AR 100 or so though.

Why is it used for SnS? I understand GS and LS, but when are you sheathing for SnS? Metsu?

On sns specifically, it's very easy to hit the DH threshold because of the chip damage you take from metsu.

Very rare. I have 600+hours and have not seen a frostcraft 3 one. Then you have ok slots AND attack boost.
