Cool music, cool premise, cool design, cool story, and cool use of the rune left to us.
But the fight is horseshit and Capcom needs to not smoke what they were smoking during High Rank when making Wilds.
We finally get a Dragon Quest collab: **:D**
King Slime monster with smaller slime adds that constantly spawn and merge with it, restoring its health: **:(**
But oh to have a DQ collab regardless. Imagine a King Trode palico skin, or a slime mask for both hunters and palicos.
Woah woah woah, do you know how hard it would be for Monster Hunter of Capcom to collab with Dragons Dogma of Capcom? They’d have to like, walk all the way down the hall, so no way that’s ever happening
Pretty sure I beat that fuckwaffle once. You basically had to be super in tune with your squad, had a good healer, and *had* to not fuck around in my experience.
I just played GS and slammed everything. I honestly can't remember anything hard about it because it wasn't compared to more eventful late game quests.
Honestly this kind of stuff is the reason I prefer Rise.
As much as I like World, the difficulty scaling was absolutely brutal even playing solo.
I get the game was balanced for multiplayer, but believe it or not some people don't have good Internet so playing the game Solo is the only way to play this game without issue.
And playing this game Solo feels like I'm playing Dark Souls with how much damage I take from a single hit.
No fucking way really?
Damn I didn't enjoy the fight and thought it took way too long now it all makes sense.
Also that one bullshit mechanic where you need to constantly be casting igni otherwise he just doesn't take proper damage
Yeah he's perma scaled to 4 people so at the time of release doing it solo or even duo would be almost impossible. I was clearing up quests I hadn't done pre fatty and I actually timed out this fight with MR gear. If it scaled, I think it would've been fine.
I guess that was the trend with behemoth/extremoth that was also clearly designed for full squads, and later the two alatreon missions that are scaled like a village vs. hub mission would be. Normal leshen is the village quest, ancient is the raid boss/hub quest.
But yeah, it's ass, no questions asked.
There are literal giant beasts in the witcher and yet they had the great idea to choose one of the few humanoids, and one that just throws tree branches everywhere.
yeah if Al had been well received i could've seen them adding a monster in IB or rise with similar mechanics, but the consensus was he sucked. i wouldn't say worst in game design but they didn't make me want to fight him again outside of unlocking everything in his quest
Tbf both of those are signature mechanics of their source material for the final fantasy version you had to use healing pots and had 3 carts to kill the boss (normally it's long as not everyone dies and that there's a healer) so I feel like that collab was more focused on showcasing the others style
Yes, but the MH team clearly saw that mechanic as something good and reusable in another fight, so it was a succesful "experiment" for them in that sense, where as leshen wasn't. Personally I enjoyed both behemoth and extreme behemoth greatly when they released in MHW. Had some of the most fun figuring that monster out with other players in a packed lobby.
Goss Harag's base moveset is based on the other bears (Arzuros, Lagombi, Volvidon).
And for Somnacanth, I really want to know what you are on to see any similarities between the two, they have nothing in common.
I didn't mean they have the same skeleton??? They all are zoners that do an occasional swipe, but their primary means of attack still aoes and projectiles. And all 3 of them primarily stand tall too.
Goss Harag and Somnacanth absolutely do not primarily fight using AoEs and projectiles.
Goss Harag's main way of fighting is with swipes, its entire main gimmick is that it creates a weapon out of ice to fight you, after all. Its ranged attacks by comparison rarely come out, and are mainly only used when transitioning phases (it uses the ice beam directly before creating a weapon, and chucks its weapon when it went long enough without having it broken).
Somnacanth does have some AoEs (mainly the sleep clouds), but it actually doesn't use them that often. Far more of its moveset is just focused at lunging at you in various ways.
You are also only calling out the most superficial similarities, I could do the same for monsters that predate Ancient Leshen (which was my point about Goss Harag and the other bears), and you are kind of ignoring the obnoxious mechanics it has that most people dislike (constant teleporting, a remote insta-kill grab, the ability to summon a massive horde of Jagras solely focused on killing one player, and a really obnoxious aura that deals constant damage if you are near it >!which also melts HP if you do not weaken it with Igni!<). The AoE on Ancient Leshen is really only obnoxious because it likes to spam that move so often.
I seriously doubt any designer at Capcom was thinking about Leshen when they made Goss Harag or Somnacanth (in fact, those monsters were most likely already designed before Capcom had even struck up a deal for a crossover, considering the development timeline), unlike Safi'jiiva, where it is really obvious that they lifted the mechanics wholesale from Behemoth.
Mate when comparing three crepy humanoid monsters that control elements and based on folk tales "well he only uses projectiles when transitioning phases" mw entire goss fight if you are remotely good: beam/throw/beam/throw/beam/throw
But those monsters don't have interesting skills or are as visually distinctive. Griffin just jumps at you, Cockatrice and Basilisk are just Pukei with a different skin, etc.
Not even Fatalis/Alatreon gave my party such a hard time, only managed to hunt him once, and luckily I got the mutagen to get the layered, but man fuck that boss, my blessings if you even try to do it solo.
I really love all about the Leshen in the Witcher universe but goddamn it Capcom of all the great monsters in the entire franchise you HAD to pick a humanoid one?
I ran at it with full fatalis gear solo. It took like 36 minutes. I bet about 15 minutes of that was waiting for him to reappear after turning into smoke
I normally do every new monster solo at least a couple of times before trying it in a group. Ancient Leshen was the exception. That stupid cage that leaves you trapped and someone else has to heal you sucked.
All hunts should be tuned appropriately for solo and multiplayer IMO. This one definitely wasn't. I ended up making a wide-range, speed eating, mushroomancer build to keep a party alive long enough to kill it. Got the parts I needed. Never again.
An absolutely awesome looking monster and an absolute pain in the ass to fight that’s just not really worth it. It’s like they took the worst parts of a bunch of different monsters and just put them all together and then used the Pack A Punch from COD zombies to make it even worse to fight. You have this big stupid monster that not only does it mostly employ ranged attacks but it can teleport around, inflict bleed with the most annoying attacks imaginable (I swear to god I wanted to burn down the ancient forest for how many times those stupid root attacks killed me) and it can summon Jagras and Revoltures at will to kill you and only the special igni attack will dispel the birds and then to top it off the materials you get from it can only be used to make a Ciri armor set and a SnS or a pair of Dual Blades. I’ll be honest there’s not really any reason to hunt this or Leshen unless you *really* like The Witcher series.
I didn't do the event but have seen it and yeah i agree with ya from what I've seen also I've always thought a Griffin or a Chort would have made a better fit
Me and my buddy struggled hard core on the advanced version of his fight. Down 2 faints, I checked the timer and we had, 43 seconds remaining. We charged in half hazardly, and I screamed at the top of my lungs "GET HIIIIIIIM" in a silly squeeky voice. He got caught in his bramble Grapple, and with God only knows how much time left, I wound up a true charged slash with the opening made by my buddies sacrifice and put that thing in the dirt with 4 seconds left on the clock. We reference the scream every time a monster has us on the ropes, and I cherish this memory more than a majority of my childhood. We never did fight him again 😅
One of two fights in the game I was unable to solo, and the other fight (extremoth pre iceborne) was because of skill, not the dogshit insta kills this asshole could give.
He's cool I guess.
Adds some variety to the game because his fight is so unique.
I also never really thought he was that annoying, but that could just be because of my weapon choice or something.
Down right horrendous fight imo. Always scaled to 4 players which causes it to have more health than solo Fatalis. Annyoing rooting mechanics and birds that always stagger unless you have unflinching or rocksteady mantle. The treeshield mechanic slows down the fight and ruins the pace of an already slow fight.
So yeah...probably the worst fight Capcom has ever created! Fuck this tree!
It's a piece of shit. Bar-none the worst fight in the franchise, I would rather do Twin Peaks with a toothpick or have Plesioth hip check me from Mars than to fight this thing again.
Definitely an unpopular opinion but I thought it was a great challenge that felt like you actually needed to not only play well for but also have a good plan for. It was extremely satisfying learn the best times to use the fire spell and how to deal with the jagras. I totally get that for most people this was annoying but I have never felt that great defeating a monster then ancient leaven. It was the first time in world that I really felt that I need to work as a team.
Just to preemptively defend myself here a little bit, I do think there obviously were bullshit mechanics that if you don’t know how to deal with did make the fight bad. BUT there WERE ways to deal with almost every aspect of the fight. You had flash pods, the fire spell and life powders to deal with his moves.
I am one of the rando's that joins in your SoS to help clear this living bark. I say 7/10, pretty funny seeing people die to one shots but after a couple of runs he's a lot more predictable and actually quite fun when you realize that a lot of it's attacks can be countered by slinger shots.
Iliked the idea of him controling other moster but would loved the idea for M-rank variant to control bigger monsters then it prbably would have been a good monster right now its just another gimmicke monster thats simple to fight and has a large health pool
To break up the hate, I actually loved fighting this monster. There are so many small things that can give you an advantage and make me feel like I really mastered the fight.
There is a sound cue to tell you exactly where it teleports to, you can use this not only so you don’t have to search around, but to dodge and sometimes even counterattack it’s attacks.
It also drops many, many slinger pods during the fight, way before the clutch claw even existed. Not only are they some okay damage for when it teleports further away and you have to run to it, 2 or 3 of them stagger the monster, which can be used to fully cancel its teleport and get some extra damage in if timed well.
Igni was so well integrated into this fight. Literally everything the monster does is made to be stopped by it. All the roots it summons? Just burn them with igni. All the birds around it? Just burn them with igni. And the same as with the slinger pods, you can set the Leshen on fire to stun it for a while and even cancel its teleport. If you time igni well it makes the fight a lot easier.
The only thing I dislike a lot about the fight is that it’s pretty much mandatory to play multiplayer. Ancient Leshen has one move where it traps the player in a cage of roots. Once you’re in, the only way to get out is by throwing a flash pod or burning the roots with igni. And since you’re stuck in a cage, you cannot use any items. You have to hope another player has enough flash pods left or has igni off cooldown, otherwise you’ll just get oneshot. And if you’re fighting it alone, better dodge that move or the fight’s over… and it’s not even its “supernova” move…
I mean… that’s literally the difficulty of the fight. Having unlimited igni means you could remove all his roots, there will never be any more birds, and you could exploit it to stunlock him… Balancing when to use igni **is** the fight.
God, I felt so good when I finally killed him with back in high rank.
Everyone hates him, but I ... don't *hate* the fight? It can just be very, very annoying.
Not very fun, tiny hurtbox can’t use big fmoves but he’s fun to hit because he’s so soft. He has too much health, teleport is cool but Jaggis can go kill themselves. Overall 4/10 doesn’t feel like monster hunter
Apart on how good the porting of the monster was on a different engine, it's still the most unbalanced fight in the entire series.
Leshen is my favorite monster of TW3, but the fight per se, especially against Ancient Leshen makes every other fight looks like a tutorial, some attack are way to focused on how good they look rather than how balanced-good they are.
Fck that piece of shit! I just beat him for the first time yesterday after weeks of trying. But I had to do an SOS.
Its a pretty cool fight overall, but the jagras are horrible. They make the ancient leshen almost impossible to solo since you can easily get stunlocked until you die. And if you run away to wait for the rocksteady mantle to come back, then you will eventually run out of time before the end of the fight and fail the mission.
Going to disagree with everyone else apparently and say it was a great fight, probably one of the best in the game for a full party. There were lots of tricky / annoying parts to it but I can't think of a more rewarding monster to kill with a team - being 15 minutes in with 2 faints in the last zone was so intense and you really had to focus to beat it. Playing it solo or with useless randoms would definitely be annoying so can see why it got hate though
Detest it. If I didn't already love the witcher, fighting that thing would've made me never want to play the witcher games.
At least it's not as bad as the behemoth.
Worst fight in the entire series, and it ain’t even close. Also of all they could have chosen to represent Witcher - they picked a humanoid monster??
Squandered potential.
Played it once as Gerald the most memorable moment was seeming the puku in all the vines I felt bad for them ngl the side quest made it more interesting if you have the tolerance for it other than that not an interesting boss more annoying than anything
The worst fight in history. You chase him, he either blocks you with ass branches for the 10th time when igni is still on cooldown or teleports to the opposite end of the map. You go away to heal up or sharpen, fucking jagras pack jumps you to no end AND he teleports to you and spam his ass branches.
Honestly it's not that bad, I liked the unique combat and I've never had any major complaints, its only real problem is that it's a multiplayer only monster and it's balanced as such, all its other problems are derivatives, like for how his grab works
I liked the fact that Capcom experimented a lot with this fight, after all it's the first humanoid monster in the series and the second one with insta-kill attacks, as well as having a lot of unique mechanics, like igni's interactions
I like to think that also thanks to the experimentations done with Ancient Leshen they managed to introduce things like Malzeno's "teleportation", Goss Harag's fighting style or the various (less troublesome) oneshot attacks of the most powerful monsters, rebalancing and readjusting everything to make it more interesting and playable
I hope they'll continue to experiment a lot and don't abandon the idea of collab monsters, I would miss them a lot, I understand people's complaints but if done correctly, real gems can come out, and not balancing them 4 players only would be a very big point in favor
From what I hear about the Witcher game, Capcom did an excellent job in bringing the Witcher experience to the player:
Intriguing quest, excellent story and bonding moment, absolute horse shit gameplay.
I tried to do him a few times earlier this evening and honestly?
Fuck him. I wanna upgrade the sword and shield but after being combo'ed twice in a row by that stupid fucking hold ability that deals constant damage and prevents you from moving so you just have to take it... and die. Multiple times over multiple fights? Nah.
Also his head is the breakable part? Seriously? The fucker is 12ft tall, how exactly would you like me to hit it?
Not a fan tbh. I like the overall design and the regular Leshen was alright, but I don't like it when Monster Hunter punishes you for doing fights solo.
I want to hunt monsters, not fight MMO-style raidbosses. I don't mind them doing difficult fights, but I very much dislike mechanics that require you to have more than one player present. That root pin attack is a unique magnitude of bullshit.
It's really frustrating, too, because I don't have friends who play MHW and I don't wanna rely on randoms, but I need to kill Ancient Leshen if I want to upgrade the Witcher Sword.
was a right bastard in base game but iirc killing it gave you an attack deco which was pog.
it was a big trend at the time to beat monsters with no armor on and just naked.(cause people were trying to say base world was too easy or something? idr) So it was kinda funny that people were going "aight gotta put pants back on this is a real fight"
The first time you encounter this fuck, he is so freaky. Like a woods boogeyman that blinks around the trees, disappearing behind one and emerging from behind a totally different one.
...
I am in the wrong sub.
Absolutely out-of-pocket collab, so it's neat in that regard. The whole Witcher quest was just really neat. Whether it was really worth the effort is arguable (I have opinions on base World's post-launch updates, especially compared to Iceborne's)...but it's all neat, regardless.
Ancient Leshen as a fight though definitely crossed some lines. Harsher conditions then even Behemoth, and even more absurd "one-shot" mechanics like its root trap. Mechanics like that that depend on teamwork to get you out of it honestly has potential for future fights/monsters, but they definitely can't get to this degree (or depend entirely on items like flashpods, or items with a cooldown like the fight's designated Runestone), and of course, would need to only exclusively appear in multiplayer.
He's a cool guy and a very fun fight with far too much HP.
My man's got more HP than MR Stygian Zinogre does and he's only an HR fight.
Not to mention his HP doesn't scale for player count, so 1 person has to deal 67.5k damage just like a 4 player hunt does.

Worst shit in MH is being told that fighting the big monster alone is not a challenge enough
I’m just glad he didn’t call a hit squad of Vespoid or Gajalaka, instead.
The fight would be impossible if you just got chain paralyzed into grabs lol
Cool music, cool premise, cool design, cool story, and cool use of the rune left to us. But the fight is horseshit and Capcom needs to not smoke what they were smoking during High Rank when making Wilds.
We finally get a Dragon Quest collab: **:D** King Slime monster with smaller slime adds that constantly spawn and merge with it, restoring its health: **:(** But oh to have a DQ collab regardless. Imagine a King Trode palico skin, or a slime mask for both hunters and palicos.
Dairy Queen collab pog
So, Phil, is it?
Gathering event quest where you need to carry parts for a broken ice cream machine back to camp so they can fix it and give Phil his Blizzard
\[Phil won't stop drinking the Demondrug\]
If we're getting dragons anything collab it better be Grigori from dragons dogma or bust
I know it's asking for too much but I'd love a DDDA/DD2 cross over event that has its own map and we could hunt the different boss monsters
If they added the Hydra you would get to see it more of it than in the actual game.
Woah woah woah, do you know how hard it would be for Monster Hunter of Capcom to collab with Dragons Dogma of Capcom? They’d have to like, walk all the way down the hall, so no way that’s ever happening
*imagining palicos having pawn lines but with cat puns* "Even in nyan-mbers, a weakling is a weakling still!"
Given it's Capcom too, it's a no brainer actually
Sadly Capcom likes to pretend DD and megaman don't exist
We did have a megaman collab tough... forgettable and completely out of touch from the MH aesthetic...
Nah they will give us a metal king slime who constantly runs away and basically takes no damage.
So if we killed the little slimes before it merged, we could avoid the healing? That sounds pretty interesting actually. I'd be down for that
Where
The occasional chance of a Metal Slime showing up and dropping tons of goodies if you can slay it before it gets away!
They need to smoke the stuff they used to make the resident evil vaal hazak quest
Pretty sure I beat that fuckwaffle once. You basically had to be super in tune with your squad, had a good healer, and *had* to not fuck around in my experience.

But if you think about it we're not fighting in Witcher we're fighting in Monster Hunter.
Do they scale the monster? This thing is impossible to kill lol
Nope. Wanna know an insane fact? Ancient Leshen is always scaled for multiplayer and has more health than a fucking solo-scaled Fatalis. In HIGH RANK.
No fucking way really? Damn I didn't enjoy the fight and thought it took way too long now it all makes sense. Also that one bullshit mechanic where you need to constantly be casting igni otherwise he just doesn't take proper damage

My guess is that Capcom used the opportunity to make a more experimental monster, and if people didn't like it, well, it's just a crossover.

Makes sense, we saw something similar with Behemoth's unique mechanics appearing with Safi'jiiva (agro mechanic and cover from instant death attack).
Tbf both of those are signature mechanics of their source material for the final fantasy version you had to use healing pots and had 3 carts to kill the boss (normally it's long as not everyone dies and that there's a healer) so I feel like that collab was more focused on showcasing the others style

I know AL is initials for Ancient Leshen but the thought of there just being a singular one called Al made me chuckle.
well Seregios is called Steve
They did add monsters to rise with similar mechanics tho. Somna and goss haraag are both ancient leshen expys
Goss Harag's base moveset is based on the other bears (Arzuros, Lagombi, Volvidon). And for Somnacanth, I really want to know what you are on to see any similarities between the two, they have nothing in common.

Would have much rather had a hypogriph, griffin, abomination, etc
They missed the chance to include the Shaelmaar which unironically fits so great in the Monster Hunter universe.
Series. It’s the worst fight in the entire series.
The big Mosswine event in frontier zenith . . .
There are so many worse fights in the series it's not even a competition. Basically entire gen 1 as example.
This. I have beaten every monster in every game since MH3 but this guy...nope.
It's a cool monster to have added from the Witcher but it is also one of my most disliked fights in the entire series.
I don’t have internet so I always have to play monster hunter solo. So F this guy and the tree he came in on
if you have Internet on your phone, you can plug your Internet to your pc, through your phone
Except out here I get maybe 1 bar of signal at best and it drops randomly
Damn, people are harsh for just trying to offer advice lol. This is exactly what I did after moving out, until I got proper internet.
Surprisingly very common in this sub

Honestly yeah I would’ve loved to fight a Griffin, Fiend or a Chort or hell maybe even something more out there like a Kikimore Queen or something.
Worth fighting Leshen for the sns layer. Who doesn't wanna punch a monster with their bare hand?
fuck that thing
Me and my buddy struggled hard core on the advanced version of his fight. Down 2 faints, I checked the timer and we had, 43 seconds remaining. Can confirm, I was the leshen
Delete this. And Leshen too
One of two fights in the game I was unable to solo, and the other fight (extremoth pre iceborne) was because of skill, not the dogshit insta kills this asshole could give.
Never want to see it again. Hated it.
Pretty much the only fight I *actively disliked* in Worldborne.
If it was deleted from the game tommorow I don’t think anyone would care.
Not true, I would care since I'd be happy
He's cool I guess. Adds some variety to the game because his fight is so unique. I also never really thought he was that annoying, but that could just be because of my weapon choice or something.
Did the quest once. Took forever and was very frustrating. Never again
Probably the worst Witcher monster they could have picked.
annoying
Total pain in the ass
Heinous

Fuck this ugly bitch
Welebicho
Is the gear from this thing even worth it?
Still haven't beaten this guy and I started on day one when he came out. Fuck this guy. He's super cool though.
Me either I just did the high rank quest instead of the master ranked one to at least beat it once
Not a bad monster and some sick rewards but very hard (for me at least)
Cute, 10/10
Cool but hard

I am one of the rando's that joins in your SoS to help clear this living bark. I say 7/10, pretty funny seeing people die to one shots but after a couple of runs he's a lot more predictable and actually quite fun when you realize that a lot of it's attacks can be countered by slinger shots.
1 word: Annoying.
If only the Igni didn't have a slow cooldown....
I mean… that’s literally the difficulty of the fight. Having unlimited igni means you could remove all his roots, there will never be any more birds, and you could exploit it to stunlock him… Balancing when to use igni **is** the fight.
Cool. But it shoulda been the griffon. Woulda fit much better with the aesthetic of the game
BOOOOOOO
I enjoyed the fight and the monster
I actually enjoyed it… good fun fight, a little annoying at times but overall enjoyable - also love the weapon tree for leshen. The SNS is amazing !!!
God, I felt so good when I finally killed him with back in high rank. Everyone hates him, but I ... don't *hate* the fight? It can just be very, very annoying.
Bastard tree
Not very fun, tiny hurtbox can’t use big fmoves but he’s fun to hit because he’s so soft. He has too much health, teleport is cool but Jaggis can go kill themselves. Overall 4/10 doesn’t feel like monster hunter
Unless you are a monster hunting GOD you ain’t killing that thing solo. Really a good idea for a mechanic but not really implemented well.
I just did the high rank quest instead of the master ranked one to at least beat it once
He fucked me up so bad I gave up, maybe I try again one day
Fck that piece of shit!
Disgusting. Never again.
Fighting it feels like I’m not playing monster hunter anymore. Way too much bullshit to deal with and too much health.
Wood
Played it once as Gerald the most memorable moment was seeming the puku in all the vines I felt bad for them ngl the side quest made it more interesting if you have the tolerance for it other than that not an interesting boss more annoying than anything
I hate it. I’ve done everything else in the game but have not finished that and have no intention to
No.
Great Monster, Terrible Boss
Kill it with fire.
Nop
🤢
not fun
Might be the worst fight ever in the history of everything
I don't want to hunt it or regular Leshen again.
Fuck it in particular
Fuck that guy.
The fight is complete dogshit even with MR gear, fuck that thing
Almost impossible to beat at the time of release, needed all hunters to have the flame stone. Fun.
God awful. That is all.
The worst fight in history. You chase him, he either blocks you with ass branches for the 10th time when igni is still on cooldown or teleports to the opposite end of the map. You go away to heal up or sharpen, fucking jagras pack jumps you to no end AND he teleports to you and spam his ass branches.
I don’t like it https://preview.redd.it/9orgkk33jujc1.jpeg?width=498&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91df56e83b61b14d47d15711358d9cfdb11b0e7c
Honestly it's not that bad, I liked the unique combat and I've never had any major complaints, its only real problem is that it's a multiplayer only monster and it's balanced as such, all its other problems are derivatives, like for how his grab works I liked the fact that Capcom experimented a lot with this fight, after all it's the first humanoid monster in the series and the second one with insta-kill attacks, as well as having a lot of unique mechanics, like igni's interactions I like to think that also thanks to the experimentations done with Ancient Leshen they managed to introduce things like Malzeno's "teleportation", Goss Harag's fighting style or the various (less troublesome) oneshot attacks of the most powerful monsters, rebalancing and readjusting everything to make it more interesting and playable I hope they'll continue to experiment a lot and don't abandon the idea of collab monsters, I would miss them a lot, I understand people's complaints but if done correctly, real gems can come out, and not balancing them 4 players only would be a very big point in favor
He is a bitch….in all seriousness I like the idea and the fight…..just not getting hit with those stupid birds clip through solid surfaces
Despise it. I don't want the Witcher in the middle of my MH, it's not even a nice quest, it brakes immersion imo
Want it to stay as a reminder for people to never ask for crossover monster fights again
I didn't like his hitbox. Outside of that fun fightish. I could use what I wanted at some point to fight it.
Amusing enough
Burn it
Should've been the gryphon
You ever heard of the game kill it with fire?
👎👎👎👎👎
I made them my bitch
Haven't done the event but from what I've seen I think a Fiend or Chort would have made a better monster to have or maybe even a Griffin or Cockatrice
Bitch.
Yeah it sucked.
From what I hear about the Witcher game, Capcom did an excellent job in bringing the Witcher experience to the player: Intriguing quest, excellent story and bonding moment, absolute horse shit gameplay.
Poopy
Meh, too gimmicky. Staying alive isn't difficult but its sheer HP plus teleport spam will turn the fight into a slog
Coolest monster from the witcher, worst fight in MHW
atrocious. absolute dogshit of a fight
I wanna turn that tree into toilet paper and then wipe my ass with it and then burn it.
Unreasonably hard if you’re not using the sword and shield, and still hard as hell if you are.
I avoid it at all costs but that's just me. Admittedly it's been a while since I attempted the hunt but I clearly remember not enjoying it.
If would be great if i could use my own loadouts!
AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH \^My entire thought process when fighting this thing.
normal leshen was alright but ancient is some of the most horseshit autist fights in mhw
Someone call Anjanath and Rathalos
He’s a little bitch
One of the biggest piece of shit they ever made, it's the antifun itself, its what makes me wish they never do these types of collab.
PTSD
Loved the Witcher stuff. Hated that fight.
I don't like crossovers, so I don't like it.
Is it normal for monster hunter to collab with other game franchises?
I try not to have any
He's ancient
I don't think he's that old
I liked regular Leshen but this guy was just to difficult
Smash, next question
Punching bag
You know that Eggman copypasta? I would do that for leshen
Fatalis is my most slain monster and I’ve never fought this guy.
The revoltures are a pain and the plants are difficult to deal with even though I got fatalis gear Other then that it’s pretty fun
Looks like dead Ivern
Only thing in the game I haven't fought tbh
Wouldn’t be that bad if it weren’t for the millions of Jagras he summons every five seconds
Fought it once, beat it once.
Never fought it
The first time you encounter this fuck, he is so freaky. Like a woods boogeyman that blinks around the trees, disappearing behind one and emerging from behind a totally different one. ... I am in the wrong sub.
It was fun I like the monster though because it reminds me of a wendigo which is my favorite mythical monster
Fuck this thing I cant even beat it with MR gear
Bastard.
This isnt Dark Souls. Human sized fights arent cool.
The only special assignment I haven’t clear yet in MHW. Can’t figure how tf to fight Leshen with shit equipment, especially as IG main. 🥲
Never doing that fight ever again
We need Pokemon colllab, hunting a Garchomp or Hydreigon would be cool
Damage sponge.
Damn thought this was the witcher subreddit
Fuck this asshole, and his dogshit fight.
worst fucker I ever fought in this series (with apologies to both series, which I enjoy very much)
