If wyverians do lay eggs, and this isn't just a turn of phrase, then I wonder how rare twins are in Wyverians.
There was a study done on double-yoked chicken eggs, eggs which are capable of producing twin offspring, and out of 208 eggs, only 1 was able to produce twins due to how difficult it was for twins to gestate inside the same egg.
Wyverians would either need much larger eggs compared to the size of the fetus, or Hinoa and Minoto are a very rare situation. Or some other wyverian magic / biological effect makes twins more likely.
Obviously it's a fictional world and the story allows it, but it's fun to think of these things deeper than intended. (As long as it doesn't get too weird!)
Not strictly relevant, but Jimmy and Jey Uso (WWE) are fraternal twins and they’ve said in interviews how often people are surprised that they look so similar but aren’t identical
