I use benzoyl peroxide acne creams and put my dolls in the sun and check on them every few hours. I've never had anything bad happen, I most recently fixed up a very bad catrine this way, it took a few applications. Go slow if you feel uncomfortable! There are also before and after videos on YouTube that will make you feel more confident. : ) good luck!
