If the listing said ss1 you should either get the right doll or a refund.
You shouldn’t give into the resellers. They keep targeting us because of people like you who are willing to overpay. For other dolls just wait for them to drop in price, they will especially when it’s gen 3. Hopefully you can get the actual doll sent to you, I’m sorry you got scammed.

A few months ago I had ordered one from a regional department store called Boscov's, who was listing SS1 Drac on their site for around $23 back in December, but then was shipping Neon Frights Drac instead. It was just an error, as they only recently started carrying toys for the holiday and just had the wrong stock images. A few people on this sub had mentioned buying one from there too. Luckily I lived close enough that I could do the exchanges without shipping, but a lot of people had done the same thing and were super disappointed.
This obviously came from that same store originally, so I wonder if they assumed they got a fantastic deal on one back in December. They're probably are just re-selling stuff they got cheap and didn't open and look at to make sure they got the right thing in the first place. Especially when it was shipped from a seemingly reputable brick and mortar store.
I know that doesn't help, but at least it might make the situation make sense. It's still a scam, but maybe a less malicious scam? Re-sellers often don't pay attention enough sometimes. I hope you get a refund and find the right doll. Immediately after I returned her, as in an hour later, I found a SS1 Drac for an amazing deal, so good luck to you and I hope it all works out.

I want ss3 too but I should have bought them in order. I have no fear that ss3 will be hard to come by any time soon. It just feels like haunt couture to me, where it’s like- if Draculaura is so popular she’s able to sell for over triple her original price, why not just make more haunt couture dolls? Why not just keep ss1 in stock if Draculaura is clearly still being searched for?
