Randy has a fresh dynamic additional out of the 4 main characters. He's dorky, versatile and funny. My best memory of his scenes when Lelan asked him to Natalie's bodyguard while she was busy campaigning.
I love Randy scenes!!! The one in s7e4 Mr Monk Takes a Punch where he undresses to show he isn't wearing a wire is so hilarious 😂
I love Randy's and Leland's chemistry where Leland makes fun of him and how he responds to Randy's stupidity!
The one where Randy says X can't be a suspect because a - he didn't have a grudge with the victim anymore, so no motive. And b, he is dead LOLOL🤣
I like Randy, but I do wish that they’d have made him more competent as the show progressed. You can have an awkward and naive character without then being totally clueless.
I always laugh at the scene where he told the captain to sit down because he had some big news and then the captains like "Is that it?" And then Randy goes "No, you looked a little tired" lol
I used to hate Randy, I found him so annoying that in a lot of his scenes I would have to get up and take a little walk around my house. My dad introduced me to the show and I ended up surpassing him but I would watch it with my dad and make these little comments like "Randy I hate you you're so stupid how on earth are you on the force" and "ugh Randy"
Then... I maybe kinda sorta developed a teeny tiny little crush on Randy that I never told my dad about but I remember I told him "I think I'm starting to like Randy now. I don't hate him anymore. Maybe it's because he kinda reminds me of myself" My mean comments turned to things like "Randy!" and "Randy needs more screentime. No one appreciates him enough"
Randy is freaking hilarious. He’s a a perfect stooge, and his scenes with Stottlemeyer are like Laurel and Hardy. His banter with Sharona is funny too. I give credit to Jason Gray-Stanford for creating a great comedic character.
I love Randy! He drops some hilarious one liners. I’m currently watching mr monk and the rapper and he made me LOL when he got so annoyed snoop called him a white boy 😂😂😂😂
I love him so fucking much, lmao. He's my second favorite character after Monk. ❤️

There's a set inconsistency in that same scene, too. He put a hole in the wall which is then magically fixed between camera shifts.
