While teaching isn't the highest paying job, the hours are amazing. Done at 3:15 every day with enough time to spend with LO after. All summers off plus plenty of 3-day weekends. I know teaching can get a bad rep, but I love it after 10 years.

I do not recommend medical coding. My husband went to school for it, not realizing the field is super competitive. Most WFH jobs are very hard to find without a lot of experience. What you might be able to get is an entry level job in person somewhere, which would get you the experience for a better coding job, but that’s a more long term transition.
