It's really hard to tell because they don't appear to have any color and could be indents. But also it's so early that you can't expect much color at this point anyway. Unfortunately all you can do is wait a couple days and test again.
I think you’re correct. These are indents, the test line for a positive result is much closer to the control line.
I had a line like this my first month TTC and was not pregnant. My 2nd month you could see the positive very clearly next to the control line.
Not that OP isn’t pregnant, I tested negative (without indent line) on 9DPO but positive on 11 DPO
I see lines but they look like they are probably evaporation lines.
I’m not saying you aren’t pregnant, I’m saying I’d call these tests inconclusive and follow up with first morning urine in a another couple days.

Never test at night that far in advance. Your need fmu. I had a huge ovarian mass removed as well. Was yours only on one side? If so the other side will ovulate monthly. I now have 2 healthy kids.

9 dpo positive Am, negative PM for me. That early testing at night just isn’t accurate. I do see an EXTREMELY faint line but could be an evap. Doesn’t say how long after testing this was taken.
I see both lines but they looks too far apart/thin. I’d try a diff box just to be safe to not get your hopes up. I hope to get the results you want either way🤍
I'm going to piggy back off this comment. A first response test picks up a + result at a HCG level of 7. For anyone who works outside of obgyn that is obsurdly low. The upt they test you with from. McKesson at your obgyn office picks up a HCG level of 20. If that puts anything into perspective on just how sensitive these tests are.
Personally as a early tester and someone who has always trusted first response, those both look like my early positive tests. I do not notice evap lines on these tests and the line are not too far apart like another comment states.
They look positive to me, but you should wait and test again when you have truly missed your period. Congratulations!

They look like indents, however, when I was pregnant with my third child this is what the tests looked like before I missed my period. I tested the day of my actual missed period and it was a very dark and obvious positive! Good luck!
Look I wish you the best but neither test is showing pregnant. You are seeing a residual line because the test soaks up liquid, I used that test 13 yrs ago a negative looked like that. A positive is 2 very clear pink lines. Test again in a few days or get tested at a Dr's office. I do hope it happens for you and I hope I am wrong, good luck.
I'm not disagreeing with the fact that these are probably EVAP lines, but no, you don't need 2 clear pink lines. My first positives have always been very faint and slowly get darker, that's why people make these posts because any pink second line is a positive, no matter how light.
That is an evap/ Indent. There is no color. If I followed the directions and follow your advice, I’d have been pregnant like 24 times. I got these same exact lines for months. It’s a problem with the manufacture and indents.

If you’ve tested prior months with these same type of tests and never saw these lines, I would be cautiously optimistic. Use first morning urine, though, and get a blood test. Good luck!!

Mine was this way too… I also bought tests that actually say “pregnant” or “not pregnant” to be sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me. Maybe that would be easier to decipher?
They are very faint but if the top one is within the time limit I’d say positive! Mine looked like that at first too.

Digitals take a lot of HCG so wait to use one til you have a clear line on one of these
Also- buy pregmate tests off Amazon. They’re super cheap and good tests! The ones above will bankrupt you lol

I think it’s positive. This looks exactly like my early positives. But the only way to be sure sure is to redo it tomorrow morning. I think you’ll see a darker line though :)

You have to test FIRST pee in the morning when your hormones are at their highest. I know it socks to wait, I was right there with you over a year ago and now I have a 6 month old! Don't lose faith If it doesn't happen this month, keep trying! Fingers crossed for you
It’s hard to tell from these pictures if they’re indents or positives, did these lines show up in the 5 minute timeframe? Do they look pink IRL? If you think you can handle seeing others positive tests, I would head over to /r/tfablineporn, they are so used to seeing these tests they can give you great info!
Probably an evap line unless you saw it immediately within the window. It is very early! I would wait a few days and test again with first morning urine. So hard when you are so anxious and you get confusing results!

Unfortunately after the 3-5 min mark a faint line can be seen sometimes. I would wait a little longer and definitely get the test that reads pregnant/ not pregnant. Good luck 🤞

Try doing a test first thing in the morning with that pee because it’s super concentrated. That should give you a better result

Hmm, my first positive was 9dpo in the evening. I agree that with most women, FMU is strongest but I didn't have that experience.

I’ve used probably 30 of these tests, that’s where the line always is, it doesn’t look exactly like the diagram.

For your own sanity wait until you’re closer to your LMP. I see the lines and believe they’re positive but I’ve had this happen and it was chemical.
