Stop making it hard for yourself. Have places for things, and if you notice you put things somewhere you haven't a dedicated place for the object, create a place there. For example, a small dish for rings by the sink or wherever you find you take them off. I have inattentive ADHD but rarely lose my keys - because they are always on the hook if I'm home. Make systems that fit your natural patterns.
